I don't know if this is the case everywhere, but in Miramichi every convenience store and gas station now has a small bar attached to it. This is simply a means to get around the laws re vlt's.
All I can say is that if dozens of bars that don't really serve much liquor can survive then the money is being made in vlt's and therefore a lot of money is being taken out of the local economy.
I can't believe the number of people that are playing these things.
