I haven't had nothing in my mailbox about my complaints against Judge Julian Dickson or Prosecutors Hilary Drain and Darlene Blunston!!!

I'm going to find out today what is the delay???

This letter is against the Judge -

I sent it on October 17th...

To whom it may concern.

On September 12th at around 1:00pm, I was arrested for protesting with a blow horn in front of the Police Station in Fredericton.

I was asked if I would agree to sign a piece of paper stating that I would promise to keep the peace. I was not sure exactly what this meant and didn’t want to sign it, it was not explained well. Because of this fact I was arrested. I told the Police officers that I wanted to appear in front of a Judge.

Close one hour later, I was once again asked to sign some papers and I again refused to sign them. The reason I refused is I have a police scanner and I often hear of people being arrested by breaking some conditions. I didn’t want my civil liberties taken away; I am a blogger and didn’t want to be barred from doing things that may be mistaken as not keeping the peace.

I was escorted to the Court house in handcuffs and jailed. I was escorted to a duty council and he told me if I would sign some papers, I once again I refused. I asked to appear in front of a Provincial Judge. Around 30 minutes later I appeared in court and I noticed it was Judge Julian Dickson on on the bench.

The prosecutor suggested to the Judge that I shouldn't be allowed on the corner of Westmorland and Queen Street. I told the Judge that I lived on Westmorland Street. I couldn't hear what was being said because a woman was typing everything that was being said in the courtroom. I told Judge Julian Dickson that I had a difficult time hearing and I was distracted by the sound of the noise of the keyboard. I told the Judge that I have ADHD and I'm easily distracted!!!

I could tell that the Judge wasn't too please and he raised his voice. The prosecutor told the Judge that I shouldn't be allowed in the area of 300 block of Queen Street. I objected and told the Judge that I was a Blogger and I'm in that area. I asked if this also included City Hall? I needed to be told exactly where I couldn't go.

The female prosecutor present suggested that I shouldn't be allowed at the corner of Queen and Westmorland Street. I told the Judge that I couldn't agree to that suggestion because I walked the Bridges every night and I have to walk across the Westmorland Bridge to go home.

What will happen if I'm at the Corner of Queen and Westmorland walking across the Bridge? I said I couldn’t sign that piece of paper. The Judge replied- “Oh??? You don't want to sign that? No problem!!! You are remanded in jail till Friday morning!!”

He even laughed about it while figuring what time and date. This is demeaning and very unprofessional.

I asked for my medications and he told the Court that the team in Jail should take care of me. Once in Jail, the Staff denied my prescription, instead they offered me an alternative medication in lieu of my family doctor issued prescription. Not being able to consult with my family doctor on the potential negative effects of this "New Drug" I refused to accept the prison issued drug.

I am an asthmatic so I asked for my inhaler SALBUTAMOL SULFATE (APO Salvent) which was in my coat pocket which was stored at the facility, the refused to get it for me, instead they provided me with their own which was different than the one my doctor prescribed, I tried theirs and it did not work, it did not ease my breathing difficulties.

My complaint is the after I told the Judge that I have ADHD, he should have had more patience with me in explaining the details of my release papers. He found this a funny situation but it isn’t funny when you have a mental disability and have to deal with everything, including a Judge that doesn’t understand.

I have never been in jail for 48 hours before and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I am asking to have this Judge’s conduct investigated of the way he treated me. In the future, I would like to see the court more tolerant to people with mental disorders.

I do not want people with Mental Disorders to have to go through what I did and be denied help and medication.

To conclude: The judge failed to recognized that an adult with ADHD may have difficulty following directions, remembering information, concentrating. If these difficulties are not managed appropriately, they can cause associated behavioral, emotional, social problems.

Dear Ms. Blais:

This is a complaint against Fredericton Crown Prosecutors Darlene Blunston
and Hilary Drain.

On September 14th, 2011, I was arrested outside of the Fredericton Police Station for using a blowhorn. I was charged by the police with causing a disturbance under the Criminal Code and immediately brought into court with Justice Julian Dickson presiding and lawyer Darlene Blunson representing the Crown.

Crown Prosecutor Blunston suggested to the Judge that I sign papers to keep me away from the 300 block of Queen Street. I stood up and told Judge Dickson that I am a blogger and I cover a lot of issues at City Hall and in the general area of the 300 block of Queen Street. I wanted to know exactly the area in the 300 block that I wasn't allowed to be in.

Crown Prosecutor Blunston suggested that I shouldn't be allowed to be in the area of the corner of Queen and Westmoreland Street. I told the Judge that I couldn't sign those papers because I walk the bridges (Westmoreland and Walking Bridges) every day. I have to walk across the Westmoreland Bridge to get
home and if I agreed to sign those papers the police could easily arrest me once I reached the end of the Westmorland Bridge on my daily walk.

When I objected to signing the document, Justice Dickson ordered me to be placed in custody for two days and I was sent to the Saint John Correctional Centre at Black River holding facility where I was denied my prescription asthma medication and sleeping pills (APO-oxazepam 30 mg per day).

I didn't know that protesting about what I believe is a wrongful police action could land me in jail. I was exercising my freedom of expression and speech.

Two days later, on September 16, I was back at the Fredericton court house to appear on this issue again in front of a different judge and a different prosecutor. This time, the conditions were different: all I had to do was be of good behaviour and don't use any noise making device such as a blowhorn.

To this day, I still cannot get an answer about what is the definition of "good behaviour", however, I do know that if the police decide to arrest me for whatever reason, they can put me in jail for 30 days.

I believe that Crown Prosecutor Darlene Blunston deliberately tried to set me up for failure at my original court hearing on September 14 so that I would be charged with breach of undertaking and be held in custody pending trial which could have dragged on for months. If I had been incarcerated I would have lost my subsidized housing unit and become homeless when I got out of jail.

Why would Crown Prosecutor Darlene Blunston recommend such a tricky condition? I have a police scanner at home and I often hear of someone being arrested because of a breach of undertaking. How many more
poor people with mental disorders have been forced to sign undertakings under such conditions and how many of them are at the Saint John Correctional Centre and other jails in New Brunswick today?

I am also asking that Hilary Drain, senior Crown Prosecutor for the Fredericton district, be investigated on this matter. I believe it is highly unusual that Ms. Drain, the senior Crown Prosecutor in Fredericton, would decide to take on this case. Crown Prosecutor Drain knows very well that I have been diagnosed with a mental disorder (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Distorder - ADHD) and that I have been denied a lawyer by New Brunswick Legal Aid.

She knows that I was jailed by Justice Dickson after I questioned the conditions that had been proposed by Crown Prosecutor Blunston on September 14. The very fact that Crown Prosecutor Drain handed over the
disclosure to me in the courtroom on the same day that my trial was supposed to begin on October 28 speaks volumes about her attitude towards me as a defendant.

I didn't even know there was supposed to be a trial that day because I do not have a lawyer to interpret the legal system for me. Did Hilary Drain treat me that way because I am a welfare recipient with a
mental disorder who dares to criticize the failure of the justice system to serve the poor and the mentally ill? Why would the senior Crown Prosecutor jump into a case seemingly as simple as this one?

Is there a hint of personal vendetta against me due to her long standing relationship with the
Fredericton City Police?

I would also like to know if it's proper conduct at a show cause hearing for the Prosecutor to accept evidence of a defendant's past history where the police were called but no charges were ever laid - for example, in my case, a complaint at the Legislature, the Human Rights Commission and the Police
Commission. The prosecutor introduced these 20 instances of police being called but never asked me whether I was ever spoken to by the police or charged with any offense, which I wasn't.

She also accepted Detective Sean Clark's suggestion that I be held in custody pending trial. All this for
speaking with a blowhorn?

I believe the potential for abuse of power at the Crown Prosecutor's office s extremely dangerous, especially when it comes to the rights of the defendants to have equal standing before the law. The way it stands now, the poor and mentally ill are denied legal representation and forced to sign undertakings that they may unwittingly breach and end up in jail for months on end at taxpayer's expense.

This is not right and I am sure when the public finds out about it on my blog they will be demanding changes to the way poor and mentally ill New Brunswickers are treated in the legal system.

I am asking your office to investigate my complaint thoroughly to ensure that proper procedures were followed and there was no abuse of authority because of my past dealings with the police force.

The clerk of the legislature has been asked to recommend three people for an independent panel to review members' pensions. The review is something that was recommended two years ago when M-L-As voted unanimously to raise their salaries from 45-thousand dollars to 85-thousand while ending a number of allowances worth about 35-thousand dollars.

It all evened out money wise, they assured us, and it was better than the salary/expense model because it was more transparent. It would have been even more transparent had they not chosen to conduct the vote when the media were seriously pre-occupied with the record flooding that was going on the time, but I digress.

The problem with the new compensation package was its unintended effect on politicians' pensions. Since their gold-plated plan is based on salaries, the change resulted in a sizable boost in pensions. Now, anyone who serves eight years in the legislature gets 30-thousand
dollars a year, instead of 16-thousand 500. Anyone with more than 20 years as an elected member would get a pension of 76-thousand dollars, up from 41-thousand.

Government house leader Greg Byrne says the panel will compare the pensions to other legislatures and recommend what is appropriate in this province. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with. New Brunswick M-L-As enjoy the most lucrative pension plan in Atlantic
Canada and one of the richest in the country. It is not in keeping with our relative wealth. More importantly, it's being financed by ordinary taxpayers, many of whom have no pension plans at all.

As we head into a fall election, it's important that we remind candidates of this and also to remind ourselves that the Liberals and Conservatives have proven they're more than capable of acting in a non-partisan fashion. We just need them to do it for our benefit, not theirs...

Many people are telling me to get out and try to locate a job?

Well? I came close landing a job last week.

After the verdict was read in court, myself and Tim Smith were heading over his place.

I noticed a chap bending over looking at some books in the book store in Brunswick Square.

I made a quick stop and tapped the guy on the shoulder.

He turned around and said- Ohhh Gravel pit???

I asked Tim if he knew this guy???

Tim replied- Ohhhh... I believe I saw him in Fredericton???

I quickly replied - Nope!!! Tim meet Mr.Irving!!!

You should have seen the look on Tim’s face?..lol....

Mr.Irving asked me to call him Jack!!!! It was Jack Irving.

He’s one of the three sons of K.C. Irving.

The reason he always calls me Gravel Pit is because I used to work in a Gravel Pit for Gulf Operators. < Ugh >

Anyway, I told Mr.Irving that I just came from court and the Judge called blogging a trade?

So Jack??? When can I begin working for the Irving’s papers???..lol....

< You know? Have my own column in the paper and I could write about any issue including some against the Irvings? >..lol..

I quickly went for my camera and once again asked the Billionaire for a picture? < Second time in months >

I reminded Jack that he was getting up there in age and I want a souvenir.

I never got my picture and I respected his privacy.

I was in his office a few days ago with another individual.

I was very upset that the Social Workers are sending letter to the people in the system telling them to appear for a meeting in their Building. < Social Development >

The area is one of the highest peek in the City and there's no Bus route to this needy place.

No sidewalk no nothing!!!

If the individual don't show up?

They are cut off!!!!

No money!!!

Two individual were cut off last week!!!!

One individual just took a stroke!!!

So Bernard Richard will investigate if proper procedure were followed to locate this building for the needy in the highest peek of the City without proper transportation.

I might add that the Government will only pay for one taxi ride only!!!!

SHAWN GRAHAM IS A LIAR, HE IS QUOTED ON THE RADIO TODAY AS SAYING HE WILL STAKE HIS POLITICAL CAREER ON THE SALE OF NB POWER..............That is a lie, he is going to sell it then have the election next Sept.

Thinking people will forget by then...........I beg to differ with him, he should step down from office now as he is one of the worst Premiers' this province has ever had.

He is bankrupting NB and still giving money away to big business and forgetting about the poor tax payers who will pick up the bill for all of this, not to mention the low income who can not afford to pay the winter hydro bills at the rates we have now, and you can beg, plead and scrounge with this government and all you get is talk to some one else who wants all your personal and private information before they will help you out with a hydro bill payment....It is time for Graham to hit the road...............

While in Bathurst, I received many email telling me that Brian Duplessis wrote a column on me.

It was nice of the guy to write such a positive column about this Blogger.

Once I got back from the Capital on Friday? Many people save a copy of the column.

I will admit that I was scared shitless once I was the huge Headline.

Why would the Irvings allowed such a big headline?

The calm before the storm???

Some other story is coming?

Nahhhhh....maybe it's only this blogger who is paranoid???

I admire what your doing. Until recently, I had an activist blog as well.

Out of fear, I removed it. Lately, I have been reading in the news about laws being passed in the United States that could effect bloggers.

Apparently anyone who speaks out, for any reason & against any government, is suseptable to being indoctrinated by terrorists.

Therefore, they must be rounded up and jailed.

Bloggers are specifically mentioned. It is believed bloggers have a certain mindset that makes them more likely than most to join terrorists organizations.

Even the homeless and mentally ill, they claim, are vulnerable to being turned into terrorists and therefore must be jailed.

They presently have legislation before Congress.

They are already doing this in Iraq and once
this law is enacted, it will be happening in the USA too. Part of this new law will also make possessing online documents, searching for online documents & reading online documents, a crime. W

hat documents you may ask.

That's been left a very grey area. After doing a massive amount of research,

I have come to the conclusion that it is no longer safe to blog about anything other than your hair style.

The fact that we are in Canada won't make any difference, as we will all see in the too near future. My purpose in writing to you is simply to warn you to be very, very careful. Don't be naive enough to think your name isn't going to end up on a list, if it isn't already, for future use.

And being a Canadian won't matter. Good luck with what your trying to achieve.

Monday of the third week of Lent

Luke 4: 24-30
And he said, "Truly I tell you, no prophet is accepted in the prophet's hometown. But the truth is, there were many widows in Israel in the time of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a severe famine over all the land; yet Elijah was sent to none of them except to a widow at Zarephath in Sidon. There were also many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian. "When they heard this, all in the synagogue were filled with rage. They got up, drove him out of the town, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they might hurl him off the cliff. But he passed through the midst of them and went on his way.

Introductory Prayer: Lord Jesus, I am aware of your presence; you are right next to me and dwelling within my soul. I believe you are my Lord and my God, and I place my trust in you because you are all-powerful. I love you, Jesus, because I was created by you and for you. Help me prove my love through great effort in this prayer.

Petition: Lord, give me resilience when faced with rejection.

1. Rejected From his birth to his death, Christ’s life was plagued with rejection. There was no room for him at the inn in Bethlehem, and he was cast off into the cold night. Herod feared his kingship and sent an army to kill the babe, and so he was exiled to Egypt. Rejected by the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes and the Synagogues, “he came to his own and his own did not receive him” (John 1:11). The list goes on and on: the rich young man, Judas, Pilate, the Roman soldiers, and even one of those crucified next to him. In this passage the people of his own town (and among them surely some of his relatives) want to “hurl him off the cliff.” Christ and his message were signs of contradiction, and this often brought rejection. The same holds true today. Christ wants me to be ready for it. Am I?

2. Emboldened Effort in prayer is a sure way to prepare myself for the everyday “rejection” that comes with following Christ. These “rejections” come in many shapes and sizes: the consequences of faithfully living out the teachings of my Catholic faith, justly disciplining a disobedient child, standing up for an unpopular truth among family and friends, or simply speaking of God in a casual encounter with someone at the grocery store. With Christ by my side I can be resilient in front of any type of rejection. He taught me the way to respond to rejection as “he passed through the midst of them and went on his way.” Rejection did not cause our Lord to shrink into himself but rather emboldened him to continue living and preaching his message of love.

3. Passionate What does Christ do after being rejected in his hometown? In the very next passage, St. Luke presents him teaching in Capernaum, where “they were astonished at his teaching for his word was with authority” (Luke 4:31-32). Our Lord never missed a beat: not only was he emboldened by rejection, but he preached with ever greater passion and zeal after experiencing it. St. Paul confronted rejection in a similar way. On one occasion he was dragged out of the city of Lystra and stoned. All thought he was dead. He wasn’t, and upon waking up, he returned to the city and continued his ministry (cf. Acts 14:19-20). This is the type of apostle Christ needs in today’s world, and I am called to be his apostle.

Conversation with Christ: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness or peril or the sword? For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35-39).

Resolution: I will take joy in some rejection, large or small, I experience today because of my faith in Christ.

Last week, I was approached by someone with an interesting story.

It's a tale of a guy who was on top of the world but came down pretty hard.

He used to be the owner of the City Motel in Fredericton.

His name is Jim.

Jim was doing ok until his whole world came crashing down. I mean REALLY DOWN!!!

Until his downfall, he used to mingle with the higher ups of society.

He leased the City Motel for 10 years. I might add that he also owned the Lobster Hut which was attached to the Motel.

Many politicians would stay over night in that building. Ohhhhh???? If walls could talk??? But Jim sure can!!!!

Jim took his business very seriously!

He told me that if he was still the owner of the Motel and he would have seen this blogger in the building? He would have asked me to leave the area. I wouldn't even be allowed in the parking lot. Only if I was invited to the motel by the politicians in advance.

He made certain the MLA'S had privacy from the media.

Speaking of privacy? He went so far as building this back door so they could maintain their privacy.

A meeting was arranged and I met with Jim.

He told me some very interesting tales raging from the politicians to the way the Fredericton Police Force handled his case.

Especially the story he told the Government that he would go public with some stories he seen in his motel?

The Government quickly reacted. It was sort of like my case of telling our elected officials that I would go public with the murder? < This is the only reason I was told that I was banned from the Legislature >

The Liberals quickly told me that they would haul me in court for Harassment!!!

I explained to Jim I was a blogger and anyone can become a journalist by writing their story and I'll blog it.

Too bad my recorder is broken because I would have just interviewed the guy. So we have to do it the hard way.

The interesting issue on this one? It was a Civil matter and the media still managed to put the story on the front page.

Also added was the Fredericton Police Force supervised the eviction.

What's with this????

Once this hit the front page? Jim’s life began his downward spiral.

Jim was the type of guy who was involved in all kinds of political events and he had a Carte Blanche to visit the P.C’S in their building but all this came to a sudden halt once he was told - In the future, he would have to make an appointment.

Jim didn't like the way he was treated so he threaten to go public with his stories of going ons in his Motel.

Well, he ended up in a mental ward for three months because of other issues.

Well? After chatting with the guy, he didn't look coo coo to me?

He sounded very sincere with his emotional stories.

I'll be blogging the tales during the next few weeks.

Stay tuned....

P.S. I hope I'm not shot on the streets because of this one?

My God? These people were busy Friday. I don't know anything about these issue or events. I didn't take one single picture.

1- There was a court case which a murderer case might be overturn.

2- The Government announce a news conference about Bernard Richard Recommendations.

3- A news conference at City Hall announcing money for a new E-Plex in Fredericton.

Yes, we don't need cuts in the media such as Global News is going to do in March.

Even a Blogger with ADHD couldn't have been in all those places.

Have you ever tried pushing a cart on an icy sidewalk???? She didn't have a cart this time around but many less fortunate in the City are pushing one these days.

I asked the driver to stop and I offered her drive to the bottle exchange place. She insisted in sitting in the back.

Once there, we noticed many vehicles lined up waiting to give their empties away.

The very rich don't discriminate. Sandra is force right in the back!!!! First come first serve....

Right behind the fumes of the many vehicles in the area. Very dangerous area if you ask moi???

Only in Fredericton where the less fortunate will be force to wait in the snow, rain or windy days to collect a few bucks to survive.

MAKES ME SICK!!!!!

John 4: 5-42
So he came to a Samaritan city called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired out by his journey, was sitting by the well. It was about noon. A Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (His disciples had gone to the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask a drink of me, a woman of Samaria?" (Jews do not share things in common with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water." The woman said to him, "Sir, you have no bucket, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water? Are you greater than our ancestor Jacob, who gave us the well, and with his sons and his flocks drank from it?" Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life." The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I may never be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water." Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come back." The woman answered him, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You are right in saying, 'I have no husband'; for you have had five husbands, and the one you have now is not your husband. What you have said is true!" The woman said to him, "Sir, I see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you say that the place where people must worship is in Jerusalem." Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ). "When he comes, he will proclaim all things to us." Jesus said to her, "I am he, the one who is speaking to you." Just then his disciples came. They were astonished that he was speaking with a woman, but no one said, "What do you want?" or, "Why are you speaking with her?" Then the woman left her water jar and went back to the city. She said to the people, "Come and see a man who told me everything I have ever done! He cannot be the Messiah, can he?" They left the city and were on their way to him. Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, "Rabbi, eat something." But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." So the disciples said to one another, "Surely no one has brought him something to eat?" Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to complete his work. Do you not say, 'Four months more, then comes the harvest'? But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting. The reaper is already receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together. For here the saying holds true, 'One sows and another reaps.' I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor." Many Samaritans from that city believed in him because of the woman's testimony, "He told me everything I have ever done." So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them; and he stayed there two days. And many more believed because of his word. They said to the woman, "It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is truly the Savior of the world."

Introductory Prayer: Lord, thank you for these moments of silent prayer. I need you to transform me, because I can do nothing without your grace. I open my heart to embrace the plan you have for me on this day. Only with your grace can I be faithful to everything you ask of me.

Petition: Lord, shock me in this prayer. Radically transform my life!

1. “Christ”: Politically Correct? On a cold December night in Iowa in 1999, the Republican Party primary debate was coming to an end. One of the final questions posed to the six candidates was, “What political philosopher or thinker do you most identify with and why?” When it came to then-Governor George W. Bush, he answered, “Christ, because he changed my heart.” After a weighty pause the moderator said, “I think the viewer would like to know more on how he’s changed your heart” to which Bush responded, “Well, if they don’t know, it’s going to be hard to explain. When you turn your heart and your life over to Christ, when you accept Christ as the savior, it changes your heart. It changes your life. And that’s what happened to me.”

2. Shocking Transformation A change of heart and a change of life is what happened to the Samaritan woman when she unexpectedly came across Christ, who was tired out from his long journey. When they first meet, she addresses Jesus simply as “a Jew.” As her respect grows for the man sitting by the well, she begins to call him “Sir.” Jesus opens her heart to conversion, and she states, “You are a prophet.” As our Lord begins to quench her thirst for divine love, she sees in him the possibility of freedom from her broken life: “He cannot be the Messiah, can he?” Her thirst is satiated when Christ reveals himself as the Messiah, and she is totally transformed. With her heart and life now forever changed, she exclaims with the whole town, “We know that this is truly the Savior of the world.”

3. An Apostle Is Born Who is Jesus Christ for me? Is he simply a historical figure who lived 2,000 years ago? Maybe Jesus is just someone to be respected for the many human achievements he accomplished during his life? Or he is a savior once loved, but now somewhat forgotten? As Catholics, Christ must be everything for us! He is the Messiah, the Savior of the world. If my vision of Christ has been fogged by routine, temptations, and the ups-and-downs of life, I need a change of heart and a change of life. Christ did this to the Samaritan woman 2,000 years ago, and he can do it to me today. Allow him to transform you in this prayer, so with him you can transform the world!

Conversation with Christ: Lord Jesus, I am amazed at the transformation of the Samaritan woman. One short conversation with you, and her broken life was restored with meaning and an important mission. You know my need for you, Lord, so I beg you to transform me today and throughout Lent, to prepare my soul for Holy Week.

Resolution: I will invite someone to go to Sunday Mass today.

Saturday of the second week of Lent

Luke 15: 1-3, 11-32
Tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to listen to Jesus, but the Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." So to them he addressed this parable. "A man had two sons, and the younger son said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of your estate that should come to me.' So the father divided the property between them. After a few days, the younger son collected all his belongings and set off to a distant country where he squandered his inheritance on a life of dissipation. When he had freely spent everything, a severe famine struck that country, and he found himself in dire need. So he hired himself out to one of the local citizens who sent him to his farm to tend the swine. And he longed to eat his fill of the pods on which the swine fed, but nobody gave him any. Coming to his senses he thought, 'How many of my father's hired workers have more than enough food to eat, but here am I, dying from hunger. I shall get up and go to my father and I shall say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I no longer deserve to be called your son; treat me as you would treat one of your hired workers."' So he got up and went back to his father. 1. Living for the Moment The younger son had it fixed in his head that he was losing out on life. He wanted to be where the action was, and he wanted to be there now. Much of what he perceived to be good was as he imagined, but it didn’t go much further than just having a good time and doing things as he pleased. He was reckless, and he caused much hurt by his actions. In life, it is so easy for us to put ourselves before others and to get what we want. We can find ourselves hurting those we love most. Christ is calling us to see our life not through the mindset of living for the moment, but through the eyes of eternity.

2. Reality Check The young man loses everything. He hits rock bottom. All that he had before is a distant memory. He remembers how secure he was when he was living with his father; he remembers how good even the hired hands had it. He sees that he has nothing to keep him where he is – out of his father’s grace – and so he begins the march back to his father. When we mess up and sin, we need to have this same attitude of contrition. Lent is a time wherein we can renew our relationship with Christ through the sacrament of confession. Like the younger son, we need to humble ourselves, realize that we have nothing to lose and everything to gain, and make our way back to the Father.

3. The Father Receives Us with Open Arms There wasn’t even time for the son to finish his prepared speech when his father smothered him with kisses and hugs and treated him like royalty. The Father treats us like this each time we run to him for forgiveness. He wants to hear our repentance, but more than anything he wants to build us up through his grace and presence in our life. This is the Father’s greatest joy: to have us back, safe and sound in his grace. He loves us so much that he makes this sacrament available to us 24/7. He wants our heart.

Conversation with Christ: Christ, thank you for the grace of confession whereby I am reunited to the Father of mercy. I am a sinner and have wandered far from you in my life. Yet you never give up on me; you seek me out and draw me back to yourself. With your grace I continue to strive to overcome my faults, defects and sins.

Resolution: I will make sure that I make a good examination of conscience today.

Bounty hunter Duane (Dog) Chapman will be returning to his reality television series, three months after a racial slur caused cable channel A&E to suspend it.

A&E revealed late Tuesday that production on Dog The Bounty Hunter will start up again but a broadcast date has not been set.

"Over the last few months, Duane (Dog) Chapman has taken and continues to take the appropriate steps in reaching out to several African-American organizations in an effort to make amends for his private comments to his son which were released publicly," said a statement from the network.

"Since the premise of Dog The Bounty Hunter is about second chances — we have decided to give him one."

The show was taken off air last November after a private phone call between Chapman and his son Tucker was released in which the bounty hunter used the N-word to describe Tucker's girlfriend.

Chapman apologized several times publicly and to the African-American community, promising to make amends.

It was also discovered later that Tucker had sold a tape of the conversation to The National Enquirer.

The 55-year-old Chapman, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, is an ex-con himself.

He rose to fame in 2003 after capturing Max Factor heir and serial rapist Andrew Luster in Mexico, leading to his TV series.

The show follows Chapman, his wife Beth and their little posse of bounty hunters as they track down bail jumpers.

The show is seen in more than 10 countries.

FYI... You must wear fall arrest equipment if you work more than 6 feet from the ground. You cannot be fired on the spot for not wearing the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). There are steps to be followed before and employer can fire and employee.

Like any other work related accidents or incidents, an investigation must be conducted before any information is released...especially

when the accident involves a death.

Also, Charles there have been no cranes that have toppled over at the LNG site. The pics you have are from the old drydock when they imploded the old cranes. The incident with a crane was on the KWS site where a pile was dropped in the water.

So before anyone runs there mouth about the Irving's covering up accidents, get your facts straight before you post this non sense!!

When you are a child and have had a dog all your young life, the last goodbye is crushing

But that final, heartfelt departure became a horror story for 10-year-old Justin Miller-Clarke, who was ushered in to the SPCA last Friday to see how the body of his beloved dog, Marley, would be handled.

And now, an embarrassed SPCA has had to apologize to Justin and his family over the ''disposal'' of the beloved member of the family.

Font:****Justin's mother, Jacqueline Miller, described the events that followed the family's discovery of the 10-year-old dog, a German shepherd-Rottweiler mix who died at home while they were out.

They did not know what to do with Marley so they called the

SPCA on Jean Talon St. W., which said it would accept the body.

"We drove there and a man helped carry our dog out of the car. He then asked if we would like to come with the dog to say our last goodbyes," Miller recounted.

"He then proceeded to take us into the basement of the SPCA.

I was confused; I thought he would take us to an exam room or something."

The SPCA worker led them to a chute, which he opened and said: "It's full."

He then took the family down a long hallway in a room with bins.

"I could see dead animals on the top of (the bins), and I could also see a dead and bleeding cat on a table," Miller recalled.

The SPCA worker then placed Marley on a cement floor in the room filled with animal carcasses and told the family it could say goodbye.

"I was in total shock, my 10-year-old son was horrified - we both had nightmares and cannot forget the images we were exposed to.

"My son is traumatized - he asked me why they are throwing out animals like garbage," said Miller, who is a psychologist and Vanier College teacher.

In response to these events, Montreal SPCA executive director Pierre Barnoti said: "I'm horrified that one of our employees would take someone to our cold room."

They are kept there before they are sent to be cremated at another facility, he added.

"It is very hard to see that your dog is included with other animals waiting to be transported for cremation.

"It's an error of judgment on the part of our employee, who should have been sensitive to a 10-year-old," he said, adding that he "personally apologized" to the family.

For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. 1. Making the Faith My Own In today’s Gospel, Jesus asks his apostles to tell him who others say he is. Then he challenges them to take ownership and say who they think he is. Christ wants us to make an act of faith in him. He has called us to himself to be his disciples in a world that has labeled him everything under the sun. Today, people want Christ to be whom they feel comfortable with, but there is only one Christ for us to follow and worship, and that is the crucified Christ. Christ wants our hearts, not someone else’s opinion.

2. Acknowledging Christ before Others Peter acknowledges who Christ is by saying that he is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. In other words, he is calling him God. This is a revelation to all, but it is one that Christ wants his apostles to understand and embrace completely, because it is essential to all he teaches them. Peter stands before his peers and says this in all confidence. He sets for us an example of how we are to respond before others, even perfect strangers. It isn’t always easy to stand up for our faith in Christ, in his divinity, especially since the world wants to take that away and make him simply one among equals. However, we preach Christ, the Only Son of God.

3. Your Reward Will Be Great in Heaven Maybe we won’t get a pat on the back or be praised by Christ like St. Peter was, but we can be assured that our testimony doesn’t go unnoticed. God our Father sees all and is pleased when we bear witness to his Son’s most holy name. As we journey through Lent, let us continue to offer Christ all that we are and to preach his name in season and out of season. Christ is counting on each of us to be his faithful friends and to be willing to embrace his holy Cross out of love.

Conversation with Christ: Christ, so often in today’s society people trample upon your most precious name. St. Peter, our first pope, gave witness to your divinity to the point of death. Our Holy Father continues to bear witness and inspire us all. I want to be a better witness of you, Lord, and allow people to see you in me. I want all souls to be saved and to know and love you fully. I thank you for being with me and strengthening me in the often difficult task of bringing you to souls.

Resolution: I will take advantage of an occasion to bear witness to Christ today.

While chatting with someone inside a warm building. I noticed this woman flying on the icy sidewalk in the Capital.

I first met Marg during my protest in front of the Legislature. Her dog Millie was just a little puppy.

I was surprise to see her walk on the icy streets.

She told me the dog wanted to go for a walk and she's having a very hard time.

I quickly decided to walk her home.

Yes....the sidewalks are a very dangerous place for our elders these days.

Female reporters were in full swing today in the cold wind in Fredericton!!!

I have been following this sad case very closely.

Guilty or not guilty?

I'm going to write a long winded blog on this issue.

He's the only guy I was close with who got charge with Child Porn.

I got quite a story on this issue. Watching a guy going down right in front of your eyes.

I'll go out of my way and make a prediction.

I say Dennis will be found not guilty.

Why?

1- They lost the evidence of the pictures on a CD.

2-Danny Watters told Dennis that he could search for research and he told the court the same story.

Guilty or Not Guilty? Dennis know that he's totally screwed social wise. Sort of like O.J Simpson.

One thing is certain!!!!

Luke 16: 19-31
Jesus said to the Pharisees: "There was a rich man who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores. When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, and from the netherworld, where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he cried out, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.' Abraham replied, 'My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented. 1. The High Life The rich man had it all. Since he had all the material needs he could ask for, he didn’t have a care in the world. It seemed as though all was perfect. But the poor guy did lack one thing. Jesus said it well when he told the rich young man to sell all that he owned, give it to the poor, and come follow him (cf. Matthew 19:16-22). Jesus’ advice is this: Put me at the center, before all else. The rich man put himself first. God was distant, unimportant. Perhaps we can see a little of ourselves in the rich man; perhaps we put material things ahead of our duties towards God and our neighbor, thus neglecting virtue of charity.

2. Nothing but Hope The poor man, Lazarus, was in need of a great deal. He suffered much. From the outside it would seem that God had forgotten him, whereas with the rich man, it would seem that God heaped blessing upon blessing on him. However, the poor man had one thing: his salvation. Even though we don’t hear it said, he hoped in God alone. What else could he depend on? This isn’t to suggest that we can’t have the necessities of life, but it goes to show us that in the end only one thing matters: putting God at the center of our lives.

3. One Life, One Chance to Live It Christ is calling us to be attentive to the action of the Holy Spirit in our lives. If we maintain daily contact with Christ in prayer, we will see the signs he sends our way. The rich man thought that phenomenal signs from the heavens would for sure convert his brothers, who were living their earthly lives as he had lived his. However, our Lord tells him that signs won’t make a difference. If their hearts are closed to God, they won’t pay attention or heed the warnings. We need to put Christ first no matter what our walk in life. In the end, this life is where we need to opt for Christ above all else.

Conversation with Christ: Christ, in this Gospel you show me that I need to turn to you in complete dependence to gain the Kingdom of God. I want to be with you, but I also want to bring to you as many other souls as possible. I promise to work hard in this life to do all the good possible and to share your love with all I meet. I want nothing more than to be your untiring apostle.

Resolution: I will look for the opportunity to show Christ’s love to someone today.
