Yesterday was a very quiet day but I must write of my little experience with ATV News.
I left my place around noon and slowly made my way on my daily routine towards the Legislature.
Once I arrive at the Library at the People’s House. The female worker told me someone left a message for me?
I quickly replied - This just goes to show you what kind of a life I have eh?
This is not the first time this happens.
I’m certain that I’m the only private citizen in the whole Province that receives message at the Legislature….lol…
It was a message from Monica Verma of ATV News.
She told me that she’s doing a story on bloggers so she wishes to interview me.
I called her to set up a meeting at the Library for 1:00pm!
I walked in at exactly 1:00pm but she wasn’t there so I walked outside for a smoke.
While walking out? I passed between the two Quebec security staff and once I was done with my smoke these two individuals haven’t moved and I did the same action of just ignoring them.
Sure is a huge difference from one year ago when I would joke around and share stories with these people?
I would consider these Quebecers good friends of mine but ever since as the good ignorant Quebecers they are by stabbing me in the back???
You can read the story at < just click here-

Blog
Well, I don’t communicate with people that kind of evil attitude.
Did they truly believe that after they force the contractor to fire me that I would just walk towards the sunset and say - Ok....poor me????
Sorry!!!! Not going to happen in this lifetime!!!
Just ask the member of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission how long I can fight an issue?
These Quebecers goal is to get me evicted from the New Brunswickers House and I see the day that me and my bigot buddy protesting side by side in front of the Legislator. It would like having the KKK and the blacks united!!!!
We did it once in the summer in 2003 and we could do it again.
All they have to do is leave me along and everything will be ok at the Legislature.
Ok…never mind the Quebecers!
Going back to the interview?
Monica showed up and we began the story.
Poor Monica??? She soon found out that it wasn’t an easy task to interview a Blogger.
I was taking pictures before the media session began!
Afterwards? As I did with Jacques Poitras from CBC…..
I told her that we chatted for 10 minutes and she’s only going to use a couple of seconds.
Now? If she makes me look bad during those few seconds? I’ll blogged her for over one year!!!!
Blackmail??? You bet!!!...lol
You don’t wish to get a blogger upset with ya???...lol…
My god? How times have change eh????
The story appeared on Live at Five and it was good.
They interviewed other individuals also.
At the end of the interview, Monica told the audience that there are indeed privileges to be a blogger.
Charles LeBlanc blogged a story that his camera broke down and someone sent him a new camera and said - Keep on the good work!!!!
I noticed that evening the visitors to my site went up.
I had close to 350 visitors yesterday.
The people’s blog is going great!
This morning, I was told that the story was on CTV NEWS NET!!!!
All across Canada!!!!
Hey? Anyway to spread the word!
Thanks Monica for being fair on your story on bloggers!!!!!

ABEL LeBLANC AFFAIR
House enters realm of the unbelievable
READERS' FORUM
Saint John Liberal MLA Abel LeBlanc is being accused of breaking privilege and "his comments have undermined this venerable institution and the work we perform" said Government House Leader Beverly Harrison, and is asking they be investigated by the legislature's standing committee on privileges.
Is there any person within earshot, who can believe or understand why there are political perks and privileges?
And that there is a standing committee with untold powers already in place to ensure these perks and privileges are never violated and always upheld? Unbelievable, I must say.
And most importantly, sending that committee forth to exercise its only function, in this case to investigate a complete truth, one must wonder how the words spoken by Abel LeBlanc - and believed by almost every informed citizen of New Brunswick - could ever be made to appear untrue?
Again, I must say "unbelievable"

MLA has a right to voice opinion
This letter is in support of Abel Leblanc (MLA - Saint John). I just want to take this opportunity to say what a wonderful human being he is. Not only is he honest and sincere, he has a genuine humanity for his people.
I think his voicing his opinion was in accordance to our Canadian rights of freedom of speech, and I believe that he has a right to speak his mind on any issue that he sees of importance.
He is a good man who has done many things to help myself and my family, and I am in support of him 100 per cent. I really hope that all will be forgiven in this matter and that he will be able to move on with it with his chin up and his public's support.
And all the best to you Abel!

Action against MLA could spark revolt
I feel that I have no choice but to forward my views on the article about Abel LeBlanc's letter printed last week ("Tories want LeBlanc's comments investigated; Saint John Lancaster MLA could be in hot water over comments in letter to the editor" - Telegraph-Journal, April 7).
The article said jail was a possible option for Mr. LeBlanc because he wrote a letter about the appointment of Tanker Mallley as Speaker of the New Brunswick House of Assembly.
People in Saint John haven't witnessed a MLA like Abel LeBlanc in decades. He speaks his mind on any issue, even if it's against his own party. This is Abel's style and 90 per cent of the citizens in the city respect him for it.
I'm not going to write about all the good deeds Abel has done for the citizens in the Saint John area during his lifetime because I would need the whole newspaper.
I would rank Abel close to the great, late Lou Murphy who was loved by many people also.
If by chance action is taken against Abel LeBlanc, if there was a chance that the citizens would revolt, this will surely be the case.
Keep up the good work of speaking out Abel.
All citizens around this province are watching this issue very closely!

Premier's absence covered by Branch
Independent MLA will travel with premier to Montreal, helping to protect the Tory minority
By Chris Morris
Canadian Press
FREDERICTON - Premier Bernard Lord will take no chances with his tenuous government when he travels to Montreal to discuss the country's fiscal imbalance with other first ministers.
Mr. Lord revealed Monday that Independent MLA Frank Branch will accompany him to Montreal for the meetings today and Wednesday.
With Mr. Branch in tow, Mr. Lord's government should be able to survive any surprise votes in Fredericton.
The Conservative government is in a minority situation in the New Brunswick legislature and Opposition Liberals are anxious to force a spring election.
"We asked the Liberals to pair, but we never got an answer," Mr. Lord said. "Frank has agreed to come with us on the trip. That's the safest pairing we can have."
Mr. Lord said Mr. Branch, a Liberal supporter who is sitting as an Independent while he is under investigation for financial irregularities, isn't invited to the first ministers' meetings.
That raises the question of exactly what Mr. Branch will do while in Montreal.
"You'll have to ask him," Mr. Lord said after a long pause.
Mr. Branch will be in Quebec at the expense of N.B. taxpayers.
The premier said he is optimistic about fixing the fiscal imbalance because at least Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the new Conservative government agree it exists.
"The previous Liberal government would not even acknowledge that there is a fiscal imbalance," he said.
Poorer provinces like New Brunswick are struggling to maintain health and social programs while Ottawa posts record surpluses year after year.
Most provinces want the equalization program updated and more cash for federal transfers.
Mr. Lord said the federal Conservatives could increase funding for post-secondary education, which would directly help education and ease the imbalance.
Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty wants federal transfers increased to benefit all Canadians, not just those living in provinces that receive equalization payments.
Currently, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario pay into the equalization program, which distributes money to poorer provinces to help maintain national program standards.
GOD'S MINUTE!!!!!
HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU TO
GUARD YOU IN ALL YOUR WAYS.
( PSALM 91:10 *NIV )
Dear Charles,
You may take comfort in knowing that God is always
watching over us. He even sends us a guardian angel
when we need one! For there are many examples of this
written in the Scriptures. ( 1 KINGS 19:5; DANIEL 6:22;
MATTHEW 18:10; LUKE 16:22 & ACTS 12:7 )
After all it is also written of angels, THEY WILL LIFT YOU
UP IN THEIR HANDS, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE
YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE. For; ARE NOT ALL
ANGELS MINISTERING SPIRITS SENT TO SERVE THOSE
WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION? ( PSALM 91:12 ) &
( HEBREWS 1:14 )
Therefore; HE WHO DWELLS IN THE SHELTER OF THE
MOST HIGH WILL REST IN THE SHADOW OF THE
ALMIGHTY. And; "BECAUSE HE LOVES ME," SAYS THE
LORD, "I WILL RESCUE HIM; I WILL PROTECT HIM, FOR
HE ACKNOWLEDGES MY NAME. HE WILL CALL UPON
ME, AND I WILL ANSWER HIM; I WILL BE WITH HIM IN
TROUBLE, I WILL DELIVER HIM AND HONOR HIM.
( PSALM 91:1 ) & ( PSALM 91:14-15 )
So Charles, again, take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly
Father is always watching over us, and ready to send us help
when ever we need it! Therefore; BLESSED BE THE LORD
GOD OF ISRAEL FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING!
AND LET ALL THE PEOPLE SAY, "AMEN!"
( PSALM 106:48 )

To the Honourable Jean Charest
Premier of Quebec
Re: The Case of Gabriel Lavigueur and the launching of a public investigation into the widespread abuses of parents by schools and other government-funded agencies
Dear Premier Charest,
There is an urgent matter we wish to bring to your attention: Parents across the province are being coerced, often forced to medicate their children by schools and other publicly-funded agencies.
Perhaps you are aware of the case of Anthony Fournelle, which received media attention on February 23, 2005: The 7-year old boy was kicked out of his public elementary school because his mother refused medication, as exposed in the Montreal Gazette. The school in question was under the district of “Commission scolaire Marie-Victorin” and a Ministry of Education spokesperson went on record stating that what had occurred was illegal. The article, Troubled kids’ medication isn’t up to school – Education Department: They have to educate students ‘even when a child is bothering others’, stated that:
No school can force a child to take medication, the Education Department said yesterday as it continued to investigate the case of a child suspended for bad behaviour after failing to take his Ritalin, a drug widely used to treat attention deficit disorder. Schools are mandated to educate children – that’s the law, Johanne Methot, an Education Department spokesperson, said yesterday. “But you can’t oblige a child to take Ritalin or any other medication. That’s up to the parents. Even when a child is bothering others, the school is still obliged to offer him services,” she added. “It’s up to the school to find the means and the solution, but there have to be educational services.”
Yet despite this, the Ministry has done little to stop the illegalities perpetrated against parents. In fact, there is ample evidence to indicate that abuses such as those suffered by the Fournelle family are continuing and widespread. Thus this letter.
The Case Of Gabriel Lavigueur
Gabriel attends a public secondary school under the Commission scolaire Marie-Victorin — which is the same district discussed in the Gazette article. He lives with his mother, Danielle, in Longueuil.
For various reasons he was placed on numerous psychiatric drugs and after he started suffering from adverse reactions, including aggressive behaviour, lack of sleep and lack of diet (he wasn’t eating properly). Danielle decided to stop the medication.
The school—Ecole Secondaire Saint-Jean Baptiste—disagreed with the mother’s legal right to refuse treatment for her son, and started kicking Gabriel out of school for 2-3 days per week. On one day he had to walk home in sub-zero temperatures, a distance of almost five kilometers. In addition to being denied his education – schooling paid for by the taxpayers – there are a number of allegations of abuse by the mother:
1. She has been coerced through various means to agree to her son being medicated;
2. Her son has suffered various forms of intimidation by school employees;
3. She was denied access to her son’s school records despite having requested them.
A letter was sent by the National Parents Association on behalf of the mother to the school — and a copy was sent to the education minister’s office on March 3, 2006. This clearly expressed the mother’s wishes that her son was not, among other things, to be put into any “special” program. Despite this and a follow-up letter sent by us to the school, as of this date he is in a special class with the same social worker who has been on his case about being medicated and has made numerous threats against him (e.g. that he will be taken away from his mother and placed in another home).
Other Cases of Abuse
Father Threatened With Criminal Charges: Jean-Francois, father and businessman, made a decision last year that almost cost him his freedom: He and his wife pulled their daughter out of school, which is their right under law and started home schooling her. Soon afterwards his wife received a call from the police claiming that Jean-Francois was under investigation for sexually abusing the girl. When he and his wife went to the police station, his wife was taken into another room by two child protection social workers — who spent more than an hour telling her how good Ritalin is for children and why their daughter should be on it. Nothing became of the “charges.”
Firefighter Warned by School – “Ritalin Or Else!”: Just before Christmas Stephane, a firefighter from Laval, Quebec, called us frantic for help: He had been sent a letter by his son’s school threatening that if the boy didn’t go on Ritalin, he would be kicked out of school.
Other Cases
These are just some cases—everyday we receive more: For example, there’s the computer engineer from Blainville whose son was kicked out of school weekly because he refused drugs; or the newspaper executive from Montreal who was forced to deal with child protective services because he refused to drug his kid; or the business owner from Longueuil who was actually told by a school that it was illegal for them to provide educational services to three of his children if they didn’t go on Ritalin.
In every case they were coerced or outright threatened by schools, child protection and other agencies, to drug their children.
Legal Violations
The schools and agencies perpetrate and enforce these actions violate numerous legislative and other provisions designed to protect families:
Quebec Informed Consent Act: “Consent to medical care must be given when that care interferes with the integrity of the person. In order to be valid, consent must satisfy certain conditions imposed by legislation. This is meant to ensure that a person’s freedom to consent is respected. To be valid, consent must satisfy two conditions: (1) it must be free; (2) it must be enlightened. Consent is free when it is given willingly. It is not free when it is given due to pressure in the form of violence, or physical and/or mental constraints.”
Criminal Code of Canada, section 265: “A person commits an assault when (a) without the consent of another person, he applies force intentionally to that other person, directly or indirectly…”
United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 5: “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.”
UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 33 states that children have the right to protection from the “illicit use of psychotropic substances.”
There’s also the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and other legislation.
A Call for Common Sense
The first question that arises here is why are schools in the mental health “business” anyway? They are not involved in other areas of health so why these cases?
Aside from that and the legal issues, it is a matter of common sense that someone’s “mental health” cannot be improved through coercion – and there is no scientific or medical evidence that this can occur.
Moreover, by undermining parents’ rights, the government is opening the door to the complete eradication of those rights and the eventual disintegration of the family.
From a financial perspective, we are also victimized as taxpayers: Not only are we funding this abuse (through no will of our own), we’ll be expected to foot the bill when it comes time to legally compensate the victims and pay for the medical damage children suffered through these programs.
What We Are Asking Of You:
As concerned citizens, parents, voters and taxpayers we are respectfully requesting the following:
1. We would like to see a public investigation in which victims, witnesses, whistleblowers, experts and others, can provide information and testimony, so that we can accurately assess the scope and severity of this situation, and find solutions to resolve this.
2. As an immediate action, we request that a warning letter be sent from your office to all school boards and other interested parties to stop abusing parents — starting with the case of Gabriel discussed above.
3. We are also asking for a full fiscal review and financial audit of the $1.1 billion we're spending on these programs every 12 months so that we know (a) where our money is going and (b) what we are getting in return.
We thank you for your time and look forward to affirmative action from your office.
Yours truly,
The undersigned:

CHARLES IS SUPPOSE TO BE ON LIVE AT FIVE AT 5:00PM!!!
GOD'S MINUTE!!!
SO THEY CAME TO JERUSALEM. THEN JESUS WENT
INTO THE TEMPLE AND BEGAN TO DRIVE OUT THOSE
WHO BOUGHT AND SOLD IN THE TEMPLE, AND OVER-
TURNED THE TABLES OF THE MONEY CHANGERS, AND
THE SEATS OF THOSE WHO SOLD DOVES.
( MARK 11:15 *NKJV )
Dear Charles,
Did you ever wonder why there were money changers, and
other merchants in the Temple?
Well, the Passover was almost at hand, and Jews came
from all over the World to take part in the Passover Festival
each year, and to pay their Temple taxes. Those from foreign
Countries had to have their money changed into Temple
currency, because it was the only money accepted to pay for
the purchase of sacrificial animals, and pay for their taxes as
well.
Often the inflated exchange rate enriched the money
changers, and the exorbitant prices of animals made the
merchants wealthy. Further, their stalls were set up in the
Temple's Court of the Gentiles, frustrating the intentions of
the Non-Jews who had come to worship God as well.
( see ISAIAH 56:6-7 )
Thus Jesus became angry because God's House of Worship
had become a place of extortion, and a barrier to Non-Jews who
wanted to worship there as well. For; THEN JESUS TAUGHT,
SAYING TO THEM, "IS IT NOT WRITTEN, MY HOUSE SHALL
BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS?
BUT YOU HAVE MADE IT A DEN OF THIEVES." AND THE
SCRIBES AND CHIEF PRIESTS HEARD IT AND SOUGHT
HOW THE MIGHT DESTROY HIM; FOR THEY FEARED HIM,
BECAUSE ALL THE PEOPLE WERE ASTONISHED AT HIS
TEACHING. ( MARK 11:17-18 )
Finally Charles, if you are wondering why we don't follow the
sacrificial laws anymore, please know that Christ became our
Sacrificial Lamb to pay for our sins once and for all! FOR
INDEED CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER, WAS SACRIFICED FOR
US. THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST. Amen.

DID THE SAINT JOHN POLICE FORCE INVESTIGATE THIS SCAM FROM TWO YEARS AGO????
I received this email and I predicted two years ago that the total would be close to $250,000!!!
Every junkie ran to this course and got their computer to sell it for drugs!
Here's the email -
Charlie, Did you ever find out anything about the scam that some business
in Saint John was doing by giving anyone who wanted a computer and money to
attend school and most received money and computer and never went to
school.
Remember the Drug Addict scam.
Its funny that not another word
was mentioned.
It was the government who shut it down and I think it was them who initiated it.
Get some facts if you can.
Still wondering in Saint John and I am sure that I am paying for it though my taxes!

Social stigma
ougher warnings on packages of ADHD drugs may cause backlash
By MARILYN LINTON, TORONTO SUN
Five years ago, Sarah Herring's son was "like a bull in a china shop." Constantly on the go, he was "impulsive, interrupting, inappropriate in his behaviour," says his mom. "He was exhausting." Since then, the 13 year-old has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.
And now that his illness is treated with medication, the difference, claims his mom, is "night and day."
Despite the fact that her son has suffered no adverse affects from his medication, Herring is worried about Health Canada's recent decision to add tougher warnings to the labels of Ritalin and similar drugs used to treat ADHD. Because the stimulants increase heart rate and blood pressure, the warnings should be a red flag to anyone with a family history of heart problems.
But Herring fears that the government's action will feed the negativity that already exists among those who say that ADHD is not a serious disorder and that the drugs are over-prescribed and used only to keep kids in line.
She says that for every one person who understands the complexities of ADHD, there are 10 who don't and criticize those parents whose kids are medicated. "It's already problematic to fill a prescription," says Herring, describing the suspicion that she sometimes feels in filling prescriptions for two of her children, both diagnosed with the disorder. Parents who choose to keep their kids on medication may have to endure the "social aspect of being judged now that there will be a warning associated with these drugs," she says.
Two million prescriptions for ADHD drugs were written in Canada in 2005; it's estimated that in the U.S. nearly 10% of all 10-year-old boys are medicated. "It seems to me, looking at the research, that the findings are very preliminary," says Herring, referring to the 25 sudden deaths and 54 cases of serious cardiac events including heart attack,
arrhythmia or hypertension.
Some experts agree. Dr. Umash Jain, a Toronto child and adolescent psychiatrist has many ADHD patients and says that the drugs, some of which have been around for 50 years, are among the safest of psychiatric medications.
ADHD is a neurological disorder that's present in 5%-9% of schoolage kids in Ontario, he stresses. "Let's call a spade a spade. ADHD is a medical condition that suggests that the brain is behaving differently."
MONITOR MEDICATIONS
While Dr. Jain believes that medications must be closely monitored, he also says that studies have proven that medications for ADHD offer a more successful treatment than psycho-behavioural therapies or special education.
The most common behaviors exhibited by those who have ADHD are inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. Everyone shows signs of these behaviours at times, however, so the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (a tool used by psychiatrists) specifies that behaviors must appear before the age of seven and continue for at least six months.
To be diagnosed with ADHD, you must meet a symptom threshold of over six out of nine described criteria, says Dr. Jain. ADHD behaviours must also create a real handicap in at least two areas of life -- such as school, home, work or social settings.
Writing this week in the New England Journal of Medicine, Dr. Steven Nissen, a cardiologist at Ohio's Cleveland Clinic and a consultant on the FDA advisory panel that recommended the black box warning in the U.S., said that while "there are important potential benefits of these drugs for certain highly dysfunctional children," it's inappropriate to administer such potent drugs to the millions who currently take them. He and his colleagues called for "more selective and restricted use."
"The medications facilitate lifestyle improvements, but do not cure," stresses Dr. Jain. "There is still a myth that ADHD burns itself out by the age of 13," he says, adding that there are many adults with the neurobiological disorder. Many people still think that children can't possibly have a mental disorder, he says. "The stigma against ADHD is also a stigma against mental illness. We have a challenge in educating the public."

Irving Oil Eyes Global Expansion
NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada -- Irving Oil, along with at least a dozen oil companies from around the world, may be eyeing the Irish gas station subsidiary of Norway's oil and gas giant Statoil ASA for acquisition, reported CanadaEast.com.
The Stavanger-based Statoil operates 60 percent of all Norwegian oil and gas production, as well as activities in 32 countries. In Ireland, it owns 300 Statoil-branded gas stations.
A.F. Alhajji, an energy economist with Ohio Northern University, said in the report the move would certainly put Irving Oil on a path toward global business with its retail gas bars and convenience stores.
"In terms of experience, they have it. What they are really missing is a taste of Europe," he told CanadaEast.com. "By going to Europe, this is one step toward a global business."
For its part, Irving Oil would neither confirm nor deny it is interested in the acquisition.
"We don't comment on potential acquisitions or divestitures, but we're always looking for new ways to grow our business," Jennifer Parker, an Irving Oil spokeswoman, said in the report.
Besides the Saint John oil refinery, Canada's largest, Irving Oil owns and operates more than 500 convenience stores in eastern Canada and New England primarily under the brand Bluecanoe. It has also partnered with Repsol YPF, the largest private energy company in Latin America, to develop an liquified natural gas terminal in the Port City, according to the report.
Alhajji said in the report Irving's dominance in the downstream oil industry makes it perfectly suited to jump into Ireland's market.
"They are suited to take over, basically, because they are focused to serving the consumer at the end," he told CanadaEast.com.
Bill Simpkins, an energy industry consultant in Halifax, said in the report that convenience stores are profitable operations for oil companies. The market for quick to-go foods and beverages can be quite lucrative.
"I think overall the Irving companies are very astute in terms of where they invest," he said.
However, the Ireland acquisition isn't large enough to take Irving's business solidly global. Alhajji estimated it's likely only worth about $273 million.
"The whole deal is a small deal. So, we're not talking about a multibillion-dollar acquisition," he told CanadaEast.com.
Still, the implications are huge for Irving Oil, which has until now operated its predominantly Maritime and New England business in close proximity to its corporate home base in New Brunswick.
