CHARLES TO THE SERGEANT AT ARMS - HAVE YOU FLIPPED??

Do you have a beach chair or a folding one? Drop one off at the Legislature so Tim can sit down once in a while, Trust me! I know because those folding chairs came in very handy when I was protesting!

Is there anyone out there who wishes to beat me up? Go ahead and do it now because after standing beside Tim Smith all day long?

I found out that I’m old < 45 years old > and I couldn’t take care of myself anyway. My back is killing me!!!

Yeah…it’s been quite a day!

After writing my latest blog? I showed up at the Legislature and Tim Smith told me that the Fredericton Police Department just escorted a guy outside.




I guess that he was wearing a clown nose and he was upset?

I was told this same guy was escorted out just last week because he was acting up in the gallery!

A clown upset??? The guy went home crusing a storm I guess.

I told Tim that he’ll meet all kinds of different people in front of the Legislature.

I SURE DID!!!

But what he told me later is what really got me going. He told me that a officer from the Fredericton Police Forces came out after I left and told the protester that he got orders from the Sergeant At Arms to search his belongings!

First the issue of the tent and now this????

Tim seems a little upset because he has met Daniel Bussieres in January and he found him a very nice guy!

I got to give credit where it’s due!!! Tim kept his cool!

Myself? I wasn’t amused. I walked into the Legislature and asked Andre the Commissionaire if Dan has flipped???

I noticed that one Commissionaire came behind me and was paying close attention!

Of course, I know for a fact that if I cross that thin line? I would also be shown the door but this is Charles! I don’t lose my cool!

I had a strange feeling that something wasn’t right and after standing outside with a close circuit camera focus on you didn’t help the situation.

I finally located the Sergeant At Arms in the Hallway and asked him - Have you flip your lid???

He didn’t seem too impress and I know I shouldn’t be asking question but I can’t help myself because I’m just a nosy little Frenchman!

I also realize that I’m the only individual in the whole Legislature that’s not paid for my services therefore I can be known as a pest!!

Dan told me that it’s all part of security.

I replied- Listen? I stayed with the guy in Saint John for two evenings! If he was an idiot? Would I be associated with Tim Smith? Of course not!

The Sergeant At Arms was in a hurry and I quickly asked him -What’s with the guy with the clown nose anyway?

He replied in a stern manner- Is it you who brings all these people here???

He wasn’t laughing either. Lol…I found that line funny!

I had nothing to do with these protesters. Especially the guy with the Clown nose!!

I wouldn’t have a clue what his concerns are?

Later on in the day, I wanted to know a few more answers but I could tell that Dan had a hard day so I decided to leave him alone.

I believe that I won’t bother him during the next few days because he really takes his security seriously!

My God? I’m surprised that I haven’t been search!..lol..

I had a message for Dan from Tim. He has the Bible in his back pocket. The Sergeant At Arms gave him as a good bye present in January!

Trust me!!! He’s not a bad guy maybe he just woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

I soon found out that Tim didn’t know these MLA’S names or which party they belong to?

I had the same problem but after six months? I know them all!

The Liberals have to go by Tim Smith to go into the Legislature. The P.C.’s take the side door therefore avoiding any protesters.

This is the reason any protests should be done on the right hand side of the Legislature because if you’re out front? The MLA’S on the side of the Government can sneak in!

I told Tim that anyone who comes in with a fancy suit is a Liberal. The people using the other entrance are P.C.’s!

I might add that Margaret Ann Blaney came out and chatted with Tim. I decided to leave them alone. Mr.Volpe told me that he would chat with Tim but he never showed up! That’s funny because last week he told the media that he would talk to Tim once he arrives in the Capital.

I noticed a few people looked from the street wondering who’s the guy with the crazy hat?

Myself? I’m so nosy! I would take the time to go and chat with the guy but not here in Fredericton because the citizens are so afraid!

They just go on with their own little affairs and move on without asking any questions. I feel this will change during the next few days because of the media attention.

Tim soon found out that even if it’s spring?

It still can be a windy place in front of the Legislature. His signs were ripped by the heavy winds but he seem calm and in control of the Situation!

I felt helpless. I wanted to help Tim in finding a place to sleep because the Shelter isn’t a place where a protester can relax!

I live in a little room so this was out of the question?

I noticed a Liberal MLA from the Saint John area. His name is Stuart Jamieson.

I told Stuart - Hey? Give your Government card to this guy so he can have a nice bed to sleep on??

Stuart quickly told Tim that he’ll pay for a room. I found this fine gesture very nice for the Liberal MLA from Saint John. Tim is not the type to asks for favours. He has pride!!!

My back was killing me and I had to go home.

After watching the news, I decided to visit Tim Smith at the Legislature at around 6:20pm but he was nowhere to be seen. I believe as I write he’s laying down in a nice bed and getting prepare for another day in the morning.

I’m telling you that it’s nice an easy task to protest in one area! I almost went nuts after a few weeks of my protest but that all change once I began collecting names for my petition.

I was never around my tent. I was on the streets collecting names.

I will continue to keep a close eye on Tim.

I just wish that he didn’t go on a hunger Strike because there’s not much meat on his body as it is!

Shoot!!!! I forgot my eyeglasses this morning so here goes nothing!!




Ok..I waited for Tim Smith at the Bus Station and sure enough he showed up.

The first question I asked the guy was – When was the last time that you ate?

He told me that he had a meal last evening and he was too nervous to eat!

I asked him about his daughter?

He told me that her daughter cried a little last night and he didn’t have to leave her with Child Protection as he did in January.

His friends told Tim - Listen!!! We support your protest and we will take care of your daughter!

You go and protest for those poor souls who’s too ashamed to speak for themselves.

We made a stopover at Tim’s Horton and enjoyed a nice chat.

I noticed that he had a large garbage bag beside him.

Once in front of the Legislature and I will say that we must have been there for 15 seconds.

A guy came rushing out of the Legislature wearing a suit and cue cut!!

He flashed his badge just like Steve McGarrett on the old television Hawaii Five-O and said he was from the Fredericton Police Forces and he had a message for Tim from Daniel Busssiers the Sergeant At Arms at the Legislature.

The message was right to the point---- NO TENTS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FRONT LAWN OF THE LEGISLATURE!!!!

My God? That was fast! Daniel Bussieres has been on my email list for the last three years so he knows the going ons with Tim Smith!

I was very surprised that he would send someone else to do his dirty work. He did chat with Dan Bussieres yesterday on the front steps and he did tell me in a joking way that I was indeed the last of the true protesters!

Lets see what’s going to happen in this case in future days ahead!!!

My God??? I wouldn’t wish to protest in front of the Legislature because these days they have a huge camera stationed right out front! They watched your every movement!!

Minutes later he opened his Garbage Bad and remove his signs that he wore in January!

He made a paper hat with a huge dollar Green sign on it!

He placed a bucket near him with a sign asking the public to drop over a penny!

Because the Lord Government says- Every penny counts! < VLT’S >

He had a bag with him for his spare clothes so he went to the opposition building and asked if he could leave his sack in the building?

There was no problem but 10 minutes later, he was told that he couldn’t leave his bag at the Liberal Office because a few people already tripped over it!

I say- BS!!!!

They’re trying to make this guy as uncomfortable as they can so he’ll leave!

A few Liberals walked by and of course Tim don’t know these Politicians and I didn’t either until I stayed in the tent for 6 months.

The next thing I knew? I saw all these media people coming to Tim for interviews.

I shouted- My God??? It took 50 days for you guys to come and see me???

One media personnel quickly answered- Hey Charles? That’s old news!!!

I replied- Hey? I feel like a soldier from Vietnam!!! I having flashbacks!!!...lol

One Minister from the Lord Government droved by in A SUV and it was Margaret Ann Blaney!

She came over with an Assistant on her side and wanted to chat with Tim Smith!

Tim was busy with the interviews so she told me that She’ll be back!

While chatting with the Minister? Those racists members of the New Brunswick Human Rights came to my mind! I couldn’t believe what I read in the media but I’ll get back to that in days ahead!!!

People walked by Tim without saying a word of encouragement! I reminded the protester that this is the Capital and to ignored these bureaucrats!

They always walked around with their noses up in the air.

It’s getting cloudy and I believe rain is on the way!

Yes, it’s much warmer than in January and Tim speaks with great confidence. The Lord Government must act on his suggestions because he’s not going nowhere soon!

So? That’s about it for now and he’s only been there for one hour in a half!

There I was listening to the radio and I heard- New changes at the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission. I said to myself- What? Really? But it wasn't good news. They still have the same faces. We need a commission in New Brunswick who's not bought and paid for by the Irvings! A Human Rights Commission who supports racism and discrimination in the workplace must be eliminated! Here's the story that the Lord Government wants us to believe. I wish that we would have a new Chairman that would be screen so we could make certain that they didn't give their lives and soul to the Evil Irving Empire!!!!

FREDERICTON (CNB) - The appointments of Gordon Porter as the chair of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission and other new members were announced today by Training and Employment Development Minister Margaret-Ann Blaney.

"As the minister responsible for the Human Rights Commission, I am very pleased to announce these appointments," Blaney said. "Gordon Porter has the background and expertise to be an effective chair, which will help further the protection and promotion of human rights in our province. I would also like to recognize outgoing chair Alanna Palmer for her hard work over the past year in this position."

Palmer replaced former chair Patrick Malcolmson in June 2004. Her term ended April 30.

Porter holds a BA and a BEd from the University of New Brunswick, as well as a MEd and CAS from the University of Maine. He also pursued doctoral studies in special education administration at Syracuse University in New York. He received a Doctor of Civil Laws degree from the University of New Brunswick in recognition of his work with persons with disabilities. He was appointed to the Human Rights Commission in 2001.

Porter's tenure as commission chair is effective May 1, 2005.

In addition to Porter's appointment, the minister was also pleased to announce other new members appointed to the commission. They included: Arthur Harquail of Edmundston; René Landry of Moncton and Emil Olsen of Quispamsis.

The other current members of the commission are Mary Jane Ward of Red Bank and Rose-Marie Curry of Tracadie-Sheila.

The minister also commended the work of outgoing members Jean-Claude Jalbert of Grand Falls, Andre LeBlanc of Moncton and Malcolm Harris of Saint John.

The New Brunswick Human Rights Commission administers the provincial Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination and harassment based on religion, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, mental and physical disability, race, colour, national origin, place of origin and ancestry. The act applies to all employers, public services and housing, except those that fall under federal jurisdiction.

Ok…here’s quick one…Tim Smith will begin his protest in the morning and from what my sources are telling me?

I went to church yesterday and once again I felt good after the services.

During these past few months, I would always follow my priest to the school next door.

My God? Is that Priest ever busy!

He picks me up at 9:30am and gets ready for the 10:00am services.

At 10:50 am, he runs next door to the French School with his guitar and talk about the lord to the kids for 30 minutes < Sunday School > till around 11:45.

This is the school he runs too!!!!





Then he runs back to the Church for the 12:00pm services.

The life of a Priest is a busy one and I said it before and I will say it again?

Thank God that this Priest has ADHD!!! < He has never been diagnose, only by me >,,,lol

He’s full of energy and is always on the go!

I might add that he can have his job. There’s never a dull moment in the life of a Priest.

You see? I follow the priest to the school because it gives me memories of the time when this Priest first came into my life in the late sixties. < Read the story in my front blog on the left hand side >

But in those days, there were discipline in the classrooms.

These days, it’s not the same. I sit in the back and listen to the Priest talk.

On a few occasions, many students were disruptive.

I sure wouldn’t have the patience to handle it!

I said it before and I will say it again - I kissed my cross around 50 times a day thanking God that I don’t have any kids!

I'll stay in a tent for six months for them! I’ll fight for for the kids but to take care of them? Not interested!!

Yesterday, there were 42 kids present and six parents were in the area.

Once the kids started talking among themselves?

The parents would say-Shhhhhh….listen to the Priest!

I sure wouldn’t wish to be a teacher in today’s world!

I would also find out that my Church should give classes to adults and give them a refresher course on the Catholic religion.

Just yesterday, a parent said- I didn’t know about that one?

See what I mean?

It’s my faith that keeps me going and nothing else matters.

Of course, I’m not a born again individual!

I’m just a strong believer there’s a reason for everything.

Someone gave me a ticket! If you got the money? Go to the show!!! My God??? He's funny!!!

He gave a good performance at the PlayHouse and it sure was funny!!!

Around 15 years ago, CBC French television station made a little program on me and Marshall!

They showed commercials all weekend telling the audience that Lucien < Marshall > gives his view on the policies of the Government.

Marshall Button is a fictional Character.

This is Charles LeBlanc who also gives his views on the Government but Charles is the real stuff!!!

Meet these two individuals on the program Monday at Ce Soir!

It was funny and I might add that I received many comments about that show from my fellow Acadians.

It’s funny that 15 years later, we are both doing the same thing but I no longer write letters to the Editor because the Irvings gave the orders that my letters shouldn’t be printed but Marshall is still allowed to play the part of an actor giving out his views!

It’s funny how times has change!!!!

Hey? Maybe the Irvings will now buy Theatre New Brunswick and fire Marshall Button for speaking out against the irvings??? Who knows? You tell moi???

The Saint John River is rising big times but the snow bank in this picture is still there. Yep! After all this rain? The snow is still there! But a little smaller!! As I wrote weeks ago? WE ARE THE NEXT GENERATION TO DIE!!!

Here I sit on my chair in front of my computer on a
beautiful Saturday morning.

It's 8:00am so I guess that I'm going to write a
little more stories about different issues.

I know for a fact that next week will be dedicated
to Tim Smith and his protest.

I just received an email that Tim Smith will
receive a tent on Tuesday. A lot of supporters out
there! Hey?

Do you care to help Tim with his battle?




Just send it to me via courrier and I will make sure
that he gets it! He could used a foam to separate his
body and the cold ground at night and blankets.

I believe that I can locate him a sleeping bag.

Ok..never mind that!

While home in Memramcook, I soon found out that I'm
getting older in a very fast manner.

While walking through my Village of College Bridge.
I noticed the two homes on top of a hill are long
gone.

Another one where old bachelor Hector < died a few
years ago > used to live is also no longer around.

I continue my walk through the village and people
approached me and said - Charles? Is that you?

I quickly learned that many people I used to know
are now dead.

I quickly learned that my neighbor Fred Bourque
died a couple of years ago.

I quickly ran to his wife Angela and gave her my
late sympathy! She's 80 years old now and looks like
she's in her 60s.

How time flies since the day that as a child I
used to visit her for some candies.

That couple were always nice to nice.

I noticed she was watching Voice of the Province
and I saw Brent Tayloe was a guest.

I quickly phoned in and you should have seen the
look on Brent's face when the host said- Charles from
Memramcook!
I said - Hello from the beautiful Acadian
territory of Memramcook! It's usually Charles from
Fredericton!

Brent spoke a little French!!! Not bad from a
former C.O.R. Member who while running for the
leadership of the C.O.R. Part made a very anti-french
speech!

I also noticed that the Roy's Garage Gas Station
is long gone!

That corner sure looks empty with a garage!

I walked into a couple house who I haven't seen in
15 years. The minute that I walked through the doors,
the woman said - Hey? There's the blogger!!!!

I might not be around in flesh but I guess people
are still reading or listening to me via talk shows or
the information Highway!

My god? What a big difference since the days that
once you left the Valley?

You were gone and that was it but these days it's
a total different ballgame.

I visited an old buddy name Raymond. What I found
funny it that I haven't seen the guy in years and as
like myself?

He always wears a ball base hat! After a few cold
beers, Raymond < 48 years old > told me that he always
asked this question to his guest especially the ones
he hasn't seen in years.

He ordered me take my hat off so he could see my
bald spot!

He proudly showed me his and there's no hair
missing at all!

He seems pretty proud of this appearance!

I don't blame him!!...lol.

I noticed that we are the next generations to
die!

There's many new changes in the Valley and only a
tourist like myself would noticed all these changes.

I made my way from the village of Memramcook
wondering how many other changes will I see or hear
about the next time that I come back home?

Who knows?

Once in Saint John, I had the same feelings. I
soon found out that many people are listening to the
local talk shows.

I stayed in that City for 15 years so you can say
that I also left a mark in Saint John!

While walking through the Mall in Brunswick

I noticed two individuals with their back turn on
me.

Once they turned around they came face to face
with yours truly!

It was the Mayor of Saint John and his chief
Assistance.

You should have seen the look in his face once he
saw me?

I quickly asked- So Norm? How much money did the
Irvings paid you to promote that 25 years old deal?

He quickly said- I read your web site Charles! <
He's on my email list >

I asked again - How much money were you paid by
the Irvings?

I continued by telling the Mayor- This is not
your typical Irving reporter here!

I'm a blogger! I also asked- How much did you
paid that guy who showed up at the protest at the
entrance of the Refinery with a t-shirt- I support
Norm MacFarlance! I might add there were 200 angry
protesters present.

How much did you pay him?

He asked me if I would wear the same t-shirt in
Fredericton????

Lol... Personally, I always like the Mayor
because he always takes time to chat with me.

Let it be after he left public office or an
elected official but I don't agree with the LNG deal
because it's not right!!!

It was like the Mayor was putting a gun to the
Councillors!

I don't believe this issue will go away and it's
nice to know that the Mayor of Saint John reads my
website.

I believe that many people will be watching this
blog site next week when Tim Smith begins his hunger
strike till his death!

Yes, I meant the dreadful word DEATH!!!!!!!!!!

As Tim told me in January? He refused to become
just an statistic.

He could have just do as many New Brunswickers
have done in the past and just blow his head off!

In January, the word spread around that he
gambled his rent money away and this is the main
reason he was protesting.

Oh well? This time around his rent is paid up and
his daughter is taken care of!

No excuse this time!

He's the real stuff and will die for his cause.
It's pretty bad that someone has to die to support his
issuese?

Opps my ADHD BRAIN IS JUMPING ALL OVER AGAIN!!!

Sorry about that!

Going back to Saint John? I took a walk alone in
the dark of the night. I can't smell but I did noticed
a chemical taste in my mouth.

It was terrible!

I guess that once you live in a industrial City?
You don't notice these things.

No wonder the Cancer rate is much higher in Saint
John.

The City are full of poor families therefore they
are force to live and die at that location.

The Government are making certain that they
receive not enough money to afford to move!

They are force to die a dreadful death!!!

In the South end, I saw locations that gave me
memories of my time at the Shipyard.

Many old girlfriends places but they are gone.
One even died a few years back!

I walked pass my old home where I told my old
girlfriend that I will go to the Capital and protest
and will return in 2 weeks! Little did anyone know
that I would be there for 6 months.

I paid rent for a six months period and I wasn't
even there!

Oh well c'est la vie!

I missed my place compared to my new home? It was
much nicer! I had my own kitchen, shower and bed for
$300.00 an month! You sure cannot find a place like
that in the Capital?

Many buildings burned down and in place are
parking lots! Lots of changes in the City also.

Yes, we are getting old and we change. The
atmosphere changes also with time.

Yes, we are the next generations to leave this
world and I have a sense that these changes are for
the wrost.

You don't see hang out as you used too?

People especially with today's youths. They
don't play baseball on the ball fields in the Valley!
They seem more comfortable in staying home with their
video games or computers!

WAS CHARLES UNCIVILIZED??

Well? I received some very bad news this morning.

I was planning to get evicted today morning because
I complained to the Fire Marshall and the Environment
Department about the smell in my building.

I was certain that the landlord would not accept
my rent and tell me to leave the building or raise the
rent in forcing me to move?

Sh@t!!! It never happened!!!

I was ready to take another step forward towards
another issue that Boarders or Roomers have no rights
in New Brunswick!

I was going to compare this issue to the Irish
Potato famine but it never happened!

I'll write more on this issue during the next few
weeks!

Speaking of poor? They launched a film about the
homeless yesterday in the Capital.

It was fitting that the day it was shown? It was
cold windy and wet outside! After the short film
ended, I stood up and made a comment but it wasn't one
of my best speech!

I even mentioned my blog site and I shouldn't have
done that but I did mentioned that in the film?

It showed a group of youths building a home with
cardboard box and duct tape at Officer's square.

They do this every year to raise awareness towards
this emotional problem.

But I had a problem in showing this in the film
because I remember while protesting in front of the
Legislature, I noticed these young people building
their little homes at the Square.

That evening at around 2:00am? It rained very
hard. All kids packed up their belongings and went
home.

The homeless people on the streets cannot do this.

Enough for trying to act like a homeless
individual for 24 hours.

I heard some very disturbing stories from a
bureaucrat about me and I'm not going to go public
with this one. Wait till you hear this one? It's very
bad!!!!

Ok..last evening, I phoned Voice of the Province
and Tony Huntjens was the guest for the television
program.

He spoke about child abuse and told the audience that
kids are call idiot and stupid.
Well, that got me going and I quickly phoned the
Minister with my concern about the issue of Ritalin!
Once the child takes their first Ritalin they are
truly are labelled as stupid and idiots by the public!
This is abuse and I might add as adults thanks to
those Racists members of the New Brunswick Human
Rights Commission that adult with ADHD are labelled as
close to mental Retardation!!!!

I wasn't my normal nice guy. I was angry.

I reminded the Minister that 10,000 people signed
my petition to study the issue of Ritalin and the Lord
Government is promoting the drugging of our Children
which must come to a stop!

He replied- Since the Doctors prescribes the
prescriotion.yak yak yak..same old answer.
I got angry and wanted to tell the Minister that
there's a case in the Capital where 20 people who are
on social assistance are taking an upgrading course.
All their kids are on Ritalin!
Why is the majority of the kids in this Province
who are on Ritalin comes from poor Families???
I never had the chance to give my comments
because I got cut off!

I believed that my line was broken so I called back
and told the staff that I was cut off!!!

They told me that I was uncivilized!!!!

MOI UNCIVILIZED???? My god??? .lol.

I've been call worst and I must admit that maybe
I was too stern!

I guess that I have been watching these MLA'S act
like children on the floor of the Legislature so I
guess that I'm doing the same on television.

Well? That won't happen again but I will be
straight forward.

I can't be too bad because they will not put me on
the air in the future and we can't have that!

My God? While in Memramcook? Many citizens
listened to my concerns on Melanson Live and Voice of
the Province.

I would love to know the amount of people who
listens to those talk shows. We need more talk shows
to spread our views among New Brunswickers.


We sure can't go by the Irving's papers. That's
for sure! I haven't seen my column that I wrote in the
Daily Gleaner about the issue of the poor! I guess
only close friends of the Irvings are allowed to write
columns in their papers.


I don't believe this is fair!

Speaking of rights??


Those racist members of the New Brunswick Human
Rights Commission are going to make an appearance on
May 18th in Fredericton.

They don't listen too good!!!

I told those racist people or Irving employees
not to go out in public!

I'll tell you one thing right now!!! I will be
there and tell them in front of the audience that they
are paid by the Irvings and are great supporters of
Racism!!!!

IS CHARLES THE COMPETITION FOR IRVINGS NEWSPAPERS??

Yesterday, I heard from two different individuals
that I should locate someone famous to speak up with
me against the use of Ritalin.

I quickly answered - You mean that I'm not famous
enough or good looking enough???

I'm famous allright but all for the bad
reasons!!!...lol

My God? What can a person do?

The reason they mentioned this to me is because the
daughter of Elvis Presley Lisa Marie???? is speaking
out against the use of Ritalin in the States.

From what I'm told that Ritalin is ban from some
states! I will paste her story at the end of this Blog!!!

My God? Do I ever miss WCIE!!!! Oh where o where is
WCIE located??? I can't blog anything at the spur of
the moment about I have to email my blog to WCIE jr
and this takes time.

I must give credit to WCIE jr because if it wasn't
for him? There would be no blogs period.

I had a good chuckle the other day?

I was standing outside in front of the media office
in the Capital chatting with two individuals then
suddenly Andy Campbell from ATV News came running from
the building to his Van!

It was just like - beep beep the roadrunner. With
Camera in tow and going wild!

I shouted- What's going on????

He quickly answered- BREAKING News!

When he left, there's an Irving reporter who came
outside and I asked the individual what's going on????

The Irving employee answered - Sorry Charles,
you're the competition. We can't give you the info!

At the end it was a old couple from the small town
in Minto who were murdered.

I guess they were decapitated. Very sad when
something like this happened in this Province.

From what my sources told me that Andy Campbell
from ATV News got his van stuck!

I guess the killer was a neighbour and from what
I'm told? He had a party with some people and at
3:00am?

Mr Fulton came over and asked the guy if he could
lower the tune of the party.

I guess the guy said - I'll cut your head off!!!

The next day, he started to throw rocks at
Mr.Fulton vehicle every instance he went leave his
home.

He told him that he was going to cut his head off
and I guess he did!!! Very sad story!!

But it's nice to see that these Irving reporters
don't wish to share their stories with me because they
fell that I'm the competition?

You know what? I'm going to take that as a
complement.

It's so funny! These Irving's reporters surround a
politician in the hallways of the Legislature and I'm
not allowed to asked questions because I refuse to
give my life and soul to the Irving Empire but anyway?


Once the politician is done? I can confront them
about my issue in private!

I notice when they speak to the media, someone from
their office is always there with a small tape
recorder but once it comes to me?

The recorder is shut off!

Maybe in the future? They should tape our
conversation so they can say that they never told this
to Charles.

My conversations are often off the record anyway!!!

I just stay in the background and listen. Hey?
Their job is to report the news and my job< don't get
paid for it > if to write the news and give my views
on the issue in hand.

Of course the readers have a chance to reply to my
blog. You sure can't use this in the Irving's media!
There's a story in the telegraph Journal that the LNG
deal is not fair!

I phoned the talk show this morning and told the
audience to not be fool by this because the Irving's
will print stories from both side of the LNG issue
till the Senate gives their final report in June!


After this is done?

They will return to only praising stories will be
printed in the Irving Papers!

I am still trying to get my column on the poor
printed in the Gleaner but I guess that the Irvings
gave the orders not to print stories about the issue
of the Poor!!!

Oh well c'est la vie!!!

Ok.Yesterday, I met with Victor Boudreau Liberal
MLA for Shediac.

At first, I told the newly elected MLA that I
didn't want to have lunch in the Cafeteria because
I'll be too easily distracted by all the politicians
in that area.

We found a nice spot and talked about the issue
for
close to two hours.

I guess that I succeeded in educating Victor of
what is going on in this Province.

While heading to lunch, I noticed Elvy Robichaud <
Health Minister > across the street and I shouted- I'M
GOING TO STRAIGHTEN THIS GUY OUT!!! If you missed it?
It was a episode weeks ago when I phoned the talk show
- Voice of the Province!!!

On another issue? I had a good laugh while in
Saint
John.

I phoned the talk show in the Loyalist City but
there was a problem.

Before I call the show? I checked the radio in the
house and guess what?

We couldn't hear a darn thing!

I told the host that it was a huge waste of time
because the citizens couldn't hear the show.

We chatted for 5 to 7 minutes and that was
it!

30 minutes later, the host told the audience that
the frequency wasn't working so I call in again and
told the host the same story all over again!

I felt bad for the host.he began to hit his
keyboard while I was talking but I forgave the guy
because it's pretty hard to get into a conversation if
you already heard the stories.lol.

First time in my life that I phoned a talk show
with the same story twice.

After that accident, the citizens in the
Fredericton area cannot get the talk show!!!

My God? Cut off from Saint John????

Oh well c'est la vie!!!

Ok..Tim Smith is all ready for his protest and I
will concentrate on that issue in future blogs! Hey?

Thank you Congressman Burton and Committee Members for
the opportunity to address this Hearing.
I am speaking to you today as a mother of thirteen
years, one who is intimately familiar with the unique
and very special bond between a mother and her
children.
However, I am also a mother who has repeatedly seen
that bond seriously threatened as more and more
parents have been convinced that their child's
creative endeavors, their enthusiastic energy, their
misbehavior, or perhaps even their disillusionment
with school, is a "mental disorder" which cries out
for a "chemical fix."
As a strong supporter of literacy for children, I am
aware of the power of workable literacy training, even
for children who have been convinced that they suffer
from some supposed brain-based learning disorder or
chemical imbalance which requires heavy drugging. Far
too often, when sufficient time was spent teaching
them true educational basics, including how to read,
their so-called "learning disorder" disappeared. I
have spoken to children who have been forced to take a
cocaine-like stimulant to control their behavior; I
have shared their sense of sheer desperation. To see a
child suffer a drug-induced psychotic break is not
something one easily forgets.
I know of children who could have easily been labeled
with "Attention Deficit Disorder" or ADHD sufferers,
who were found to be suffering from nothing else than
the toxic effects of chemicals in their environment.
I find it alarming that in my 13 years of motherhood,
the use of Ritalin for ADHD has increased 700 percent.
Today, it is estimated that between six and eight
million American children take psychiatric drugs for
ADHD and other so-called learning and behavioral
disorders. I am not aware of any scientific evidence
that validates these as diseases in the same way that
medical diseases can be.
Today, more than 20 million prescriptions for
stimulants are written each year. Prescriptions for
one stimulant, Adderal, increased 1,017 percent since
1997.
The list of possible side effects of Ritalin alone
includes nervousness, loss of appetite, weight loss,
manic behavior and a potential for future drug
dependence. Even the manufacturer of the drug warns
that "frank psychotic episodes can occur" with abuse.
Suicide is the major complication of withdrawal from
Ritalin and similar drugs.
Some 1.5 million children and teenagers are now
prescribed antidepressants such as Prozac, Zoloft, and
Paxil. The possible side effects of these drugs
include anxiety, agitation, insomnia, bizarre dreams,
suicidal thoughts, hostility and violent behavior.
Between 1988 and 1992, there were Food and Drug
Administration drug adverse reaction reports of 90
children and adolescents who had suffered suicidal or
violent self-destructive behavior while on one
antidepressant.
In February 2000, a study published in the Journal of
the American Medical Association revealed the number
of American children between two and four years of age
who had been given psychiatric drugs, including
antidepressants, had soared 50% between 1991 and 1995.

Yet, now a peppermint flavored antidepressant is on
the market as an added incentive for children.
And with ADHD increasingly under fire in the media and
the community, parents are told that their child may
not have ADHD after all, but so-called "bipolar
disorder." The symptoms of this new affliction include
"poor handwriting," "difficulty organizing tasks,"
"complains of being bored," "is very creative," "is
willful," has "difficulty getting up in the morning,"
has trouble "concentrating in school," "argues with
adults," and is "easily distracted."
These "symptoms" are no less subjective than those
listed for ADHD. It seems that every childhood
activity or protest in life is being redefined as a
mental disease.
But there is much more to this alarming situation than
just an expanding list of child mental illnesses and
skyrocketing drug consumption.
Teenagers on powerful psychiatric drugs committed more
than half of the recent teenage shooting sprees,
resulting in 19 deaths and 51 wounded.
Government funds now permit parents, such as those
testifying here today, to be coerced and threatened if
they reject a questionable psychiatric diagnosis and
refuse to put their child on mind-altering drugs.
Children have been wrenched from their family's care
simply because their parents favored an alternative,
drug-free approach to addressing educational and
behavioral problems. The psychotropic drugging of
millions of children has to stop.
It is a tragedy that some parents have been forced to
resort to legal action to protect their children's and
their own parental rights to be free of such coercion!

Meanwhile in our classrooms, our teachers have been
co-opted into administering mental diagnostic tests to
determine whether students are "hyperactive" or
"bipolar." In fact, laws have had to be passed, for
example in Connecticut, and one introduced in New
York, to prevent teachers coercing parents into
drugging their children.
These are just a few aspects of what I believe will
one day be widely recognized as the totally needless
and tragic drugging of innocent children.
I am not saying that children don't have problems,
that they don't need special attention, or that
parents cannot reach their wits end when all
recommended solutions to their child's behavior have
failed.
What I do want to emphasize here today though, is that
only by looking for alternatives to drugs will parents
discover for themselves the numerous simple, workable
and drug-free answers to the problems of attention,
behavior and learning.
The common denominator is correct diagnosis. A child
could have allergies, lead toxicity, eyesight or
hearing problems, be simply in need of tutoring, or
something even more basic than that-phonics. The list
of possible causes is very long and well-documented,
but such child life-saving information has in effect
been increasingly denied to, or hidden from the view
of parents and others. This is a violation of their
right to "informed consent."
Instead of supporting what is legal drug pushing, our
governments, schools and doctors must ensure that
all-not carefully selected-information is made
available to parents in order for them to make an
informed choice about their child's educational and
medical needs.
In 1995 and 1997, the United Nations' International
Narcotics Control Board said that governments needed
to "...exercise vigilance" in order to prevent the
overdiagnosing of Attention Deficit Disorder and its
"medically unjustified treatment." I want to take this
opportunity of thanking the Committee for its
vigilance.
However, since 1997, the number of children put on
psychotropic drugs has almost doubled. America now
accounts for 90% of the world's Ritalin consumption.
Clearly, much more than vigilance is needed.
My hope is that this Committee will successfully and
continually work to ensure that any legislation
governing the mental health or education of our
children, provides parents with full information about
the available diagnostic and treatment alternatives to
child drugging in the true spirit of "informed
consent."
We must love, educate and take proper care of the
physical health of our children, and refuse to allow
them to be falsely labeled as mentally ill and then be
continuously drugged when there may very likely be a
simple cause and solution for their problem. We will
not achieve this without the broadly-informed support
of our governments, our citizens and our parents.

WILL THE LORD GOVERNMENT TELL TIM SMITH - GO AHEAD AND DIE????

Ok..lay back and relax because this could be a long blog.

Last Thursday, I left the Capital with $1.50 in my pocket and I just came back this morning. Hey? Not too many people can say they went on a vacation for $1.50??..lol

I was picked up outside of Fredericton Thursday morning by a driver who should have continued on his trek without me in his truck because once the guy found out who I was?



He began to raise his voice against the Federal Government. His arms were flying all over the place like a true Frenchman!

My God? Was he ever mad? He was what we call - The working poor!!!

He made one good point. He said- These days people have no money to upgrade their homes therefore in 15 to 20 years from now?

It’s going to be a real mess!

You know what? Think about it?

This Province might look like a real have not province in 15 years! It could look like a third world country? He droved me till Gagetown and was on his way!

Minutes later, I was picked up by a businessman. The funny part was that I was listening to talk of the town on my radio and once I open the door? He was listening to the same show with the volume very high.

Once again, he knew who I was because he heard my voice on the talk show on many occasions and drove me right at the Motel where I would meet the Senate.

Later in the day, I visited a friend in Dieppe and she droved me to my hometown of Memramcook.

I haven’t been in this Acadian area for years and it felt good to be back home. One interesting view was the Church in Memramcook!

While walking through College Bridge? I noticed the Church across the River. My God? Is it ever beautiful in the night skies!

They placed two huge spotlights out front and it looks very nice.

A lot of stories happened during my stay in the Valley but I’ll get to those in days ahead.

After a couple of days in the Valley, I decided to hitch a ride to Saint John.

I had to meet Tim Smith < VLT’S protester > and encourage him not to pursue his protest!

Once again, I got to the Port in a very short time period.

Once over Tim’s Smith, his daughter Shena came and met me at the door.

She has heard a lot about this Charles guy and she was anxious to know what this guy was all about?

She’s eight years old and she’s a cutty!

Afterwards, I set my concentration on Tim Smith.

He has a beautiful place and he could be happy with his daughter but this is not the case.

He’s not happy of the attitude of the Lord Government towards the issue of VLT’S.

Tim began to go in great details of the time that Bernard Lord was on Voice of the Province and sorta told Tim Smith that none of his suggestions would be taken seriously!

Let me tell you that he was not amuse by the ignorant attitude of the Premier!

He reminded me of myself before my six months protest.

I was talking to myself with great anger of the way that those racist members of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission handle my racist case against the Irvings! I had to do something about my issue!

There was no way that I could tell Tim to let it go because I know what he’s going through!

It’s very difficult mentally wise when you have a Government who ignores the people but I don’t agree with the Hunger strike.

He shouldn’t go without food. He needs his strength to be the spoke person for the poor addicted soul.

Many people are committing suicide and the Lord Government calls it entertainment?

The next morning, I decided to blog his story. I pasted the blog and sent the info to all the people on my email list.

I was surprised because 20 minutes later the Telegraph Journal phoned Tim and asked him if it was true that he was returning to the Capital to resume his protest?

I might add that Global News showed up 45 minutes later with camera in tow to interview Tim Smith!

Later in the day, A photographer showed up for a picture and I asked - Hey? Can I be in the Irving paper??? Please??< while jumping up and down like a child >…lol…

Yes, bloggling is a fine way to spread the message to the public and it’s nice to see that other reporters are reading my blogs!

Hey? There’s only one itty bitty proble with this situation!

They get paid for their work and I don’t!!!

I don’t care because Bloggling is just a hobby of mine.

But I soon found out that if I don’t write in my blog on a daily basis? The numbers goes down very quickly.

Last week, my numbers were up to 150 hits a day and this morning it’s down to 100! A person has to upgrade the blog every day!

I have much more to write about but it will have to wait to tonight or the morning!

The Politicians in the Lord Government must understand that he’s not the only one with this problem and New Brunswickers want action and I might add that it’s not healthy for his beautiful daughter Sheana!

Hunger striker ready to resume VLT protest

Gambling addict Tim Smith will be back in Fredericton next week.

Gambling addict Tim Smith says he will go hungry again.

The Saint John man, who this winter staged a hunger strike for eight days at the legislature to protest video lottery terminals, will return to Fredericton next week to resume his post.

"People are suffering and this is wrong. They're exploiting (an) obsessive compulsive disorder and addictive personalities," he said.

Mr. Smith said Monday that he is fed up with the inaction of Bernard Lord's government when it comes to VLTs.

In the hopes of spurring officials in Fredericton to take his plight seriously, Mr. Smith said he will return with signs of protest and a will to ignore his appetite for as long as it takes.

"They lied to me. Bernard Lord doesn't understand the severity of it.

"Something's got to be done," he said.

It was only three months ago that Mr. Smith paced a short path in front of the legislature, while temperatures dipped well below zero, to wear a sandwich board that read "Vulnerable Lives Taken Senselessly.

"Our government is as addicted as the people they're killing."

He admitted to gambling away about $100,000 since 1995, losing his cars and his daughter to child welfare services.

He finally ended his hunger strike, looking thin and haggard, when four Tory cabinet ministers agree to meet with him and hear his suggestions on curbing VLT usage across New Brunswick.

Specifically, he asked the government to institute a day of rest when VLTs would be inactive, and reviewing hours of operation for VLTs.

Those ministers, including Finance Minister Jeannot Volpé, said they were taking Mr. Smith's concerns very seriously.

But Mr. Volpé, whose responsibilities include video lottery terminals, said he doesn't think he'll have anything new to tell Mr. Smith next week.

"I've never said no to any meeting with anyone. But the message might be the same for me," he said.

Mr. Volpé said his government is reviewing VLT usage across New Brunswick.

Total Atlantic Lottery Corporation sales in New Brunswick hit $298.8 million in 2003-04, of which 45.5 per cent came from VLTs.

Still, he will meet with Mr. Smith in Fredericton, if or when he asks.

"I do understand what he's saying. What we're saying is we're looking at what's happening in other jurisdictions, and we'll listen to him again. There will always be someone saying that is not enough.

"But at the same time there are also most people who gamble for fun."

Mr. Smith said he doesn't believe anything government says now.

Instead, Mr. Smith, who hasn't gambled for 105 days, will take the drastic measure of trying to place his eight-year-old daughter in foster care so he may return to his protest.

"I still crave it, I want to (gamble) really bad, but the point is I don't want to lie to myself and too anybody else. Something has to be done about this, I have to hold out, I have to be true to what I'm doing for my friends, and myself and other people," he said.

Someone must stand up for gamblers who are in too deep, especially when government officials say some people use VLTs for entertainment only, he said.

"I don't find it entertaining to watch people totally devastate themselves and kill themselves to pay the bills of this province," he said.

SENATOR IS VERY CONCERN OF THE IRVING MONOPOLY!!!

One Senator cannot believe his ears of the way the Irvings are controlling the newspapers in this province.



The Former New Brunswick Lieutenant Governor seem to be protecting the Irvings! One Senator said- I have been hearing this Irving 200 times since this morning! What's going on???? The Comun Front and Unions are going to say- The Irvings press don't cover their concerns! I'm going to make a presentation in about one hour and they must think that I'm nuts because I'm in and out in and out!!!! The Irvings are getting slaughtered big times and I don't believe that we will see any of this in the Irving's Newspapers and that's too bad!!! Ok,,,,I gotta go and excuse the way I wrote these blogs because I don't even bother going back to read what I wrote!!! Stay tune!!!! I like this Bloggling stuff!!! Too bad that I'm not being paid for it!! It would be a good job!!...lol...

L'ACADIE NOUVELLE IS WORRIED ABOUT THE IRVINGS!!!

Fast one here!!! A goup of people from L'Acadie Nouvelle newspaper told the Senate that they are worried of the way the Irvings are also buying the French newspapers in this Province.



It's such a small market for a small minority of Froncophone. What I find funny in these hearings? They always call it -Brunswick News and it should be Irvings News!!! From what I gather? The Irvings wants L'Acadie Nouvelle real bad and it's all part of the final solution of the Irving Empire! Control the mind of both cultures in this Province and everything will be ok! The Staff told the Senate that there should be more than one owner in this province. I bumped into Rod Allen..he's a reporter from the Moncton Transcript! I knew his name but never met the guy! Sounds like a nice guy and I did give him a piece of my mind because the Moncton Transcript never covered one minute of my protest...ok...I am not even going to read what i just wrote...no spell check no nothing!!!....Got to go BLOGGLING!!!!!

FORMER OWNER SPEAKS OUT AGAINST THE IRVINGS!!!

This morning Jackie Webster voice her concern the way the Irvings owns all the newspapers and this afternoon it was David Henley who used to own the Northside News and the Bugle in Woodstock!



He told the Senate that he couldn't compete with the Irvings because of the advetissement dollars! What I found distrubing was Senator Trenholme Counsell because we have such a small province that we should consider ourseleves lucky to have the Irvings as owners! I almost shouted- WHAT???? David continue to say that the Irvings never started a paper from nothing! In my view < charles > They always wait till the paper strives and go for the kill!!!! I am not too inpress with the Senator but lets see what's going to happen when it's my turn! Sorry!!! No time to spell check or paragraph!!!! I chatted with Mr.Henley and asked him if he could tell me how many Irving people are in the room! I confronted one of them and was told nothing! Yes!! I hitch a ride this morning and made it to the front door of the Motel in Dieppe!



Once throught the doors, I noticed a few reporters from CBC and I was told that I wasn't choosen by the Senate to speak freely on the issue of the Irving Monopoly in this Province!

I would like to know why????

Mind you? I am not in a happy mood!

I noticed a few Irving people around and they are watching the situation very closely!

I also chatted with Trenholme Counsell, Marilyn - Lib and I asked point blank if it was true that Jamie Irving is going out with her Daughter?

She told me that he used too but not any longer!

I told her that it was impossible for me to say everything in four minutes and I was promise a generous four minutes!

I just hate to rush but with my ADHD? It's impossible for me to say everything in 4 minutes! Lets see and watch what's going to happen! I am suppose to make my presentation at 4:00pm!!!
