NEW BRUNSWICK FAMILY SERVICES ARE REFUSING TO HELP THIS POOR WOMAN!!! THE QUESTION IS WHY????

This past Saturday while walking by the Farmer's Market. I notice the poor disable woman still panhandling. New Brunswick Family Services is still refusing to help this poor soul.

She landed in the hospital a few days ago. If something happens to her? Maybe the Bernard Lord Government can be held responsible for her death? Stay tune!!!

I WONDER WHAT INGHAM PALMER SHOULD HAVE SAID ABOUT THIS???

Yes, I often wonder what would have Ingham Palmer say about this site?



He died a few years ago and they had his Hearse going around the raceway as a tribute to this fine man.

Yes, Rogers does it again!!!

Last week, they showed the Premier given his State of the Province address to New Brunswickers.

Of course this is not the United States of America but what really got me going is they interviewed the Premier after the little ceremony on a one on one basis.



There were no callers but that’s ok.

But what should have happen is like the States.

They should have had Shawn Graham in their studio for reaction on the Premier’s speech but this never happen therefore showing and telling New Brunswickers that Rogers Television is behind the Premier big times.



It’s bad enough that Rogers Television will not let New Brunswickers call in their MLA’S on Voice of the Province but now this?



New Brunswickers must not be fooled by the tactics of Rogers Television in New Brunswick.



Rogers Television is acting like old Germany again! Freedom of speech is a must in Canada!

Cabinet may veto power rate hikes: Lord

Premier Bernard Lord says his cabinet may veto a proposal to hike power rates by 12 per cent if he can be convinced the added cost will devastate New Brunswick's heavy industry.

Lord is in Helsinki, Finland this week to meet with the owners of a struggling mill operation in Miramichi. The UPM Miramichi mill recently closed for three months, temporarily laying off 450 people. The mill's owners have instructed management to turn a profit in 2006 or face a permanent shutdown.

Lord says a proposed 12 per cent rate hike from NB Power is causing the most worry for the mill's Finnish owners. The Public Utilities Board is hearing arguments for and against the rate hike this week in Saint John, and will make a decision soon.

But Lord says whatever the PUB decides, cabinet has ultimate control over power rates in the province. "We can decide to say no to the decision of the PUB, and reverse the decision, or do something else," he said. "And I'm keeping that option open for the government because I am concerned what it will do to the industries in New Brunswick."

Electricity rates aren't UPM's only concern. Even without a power rate hike, managers must find a way to shave 12 per cent off labour costs before the mill reopens May 1.

Municipal, business and union leaders from Miramichi accompanied Lord to the meeting in Finland. They talked with UPM executives for more than five hours, but could not convince them to remove the profit ultimatum from the mill.

Lord admits the situation is critical, and says his government will do all it reasonably can to help – but that may not be enough. "They don't want to stay in Miramichi if they continue to lose money."

But Chris Allison, president of the local union, says the government can do more to help make up for the 12 per cent reduction in labour costs. "I was kind of hoping the government would give us the 12 per cent."

The UPM Miramichi facility has not turned a profit in 11 years. It is UPM's only Canadian mill, and its most expensive.

FREDERICTON BUILDING INSPECTOR DON'T SEEM TO CARE IF PEOPLE GET SICK OR DIE????

Last week, the Lord Government held a two days conference to study and debate the issue of slumlords in this Province.



Well? I have a great example of what can or cannot happen when you’re dealing with a slumlord.

A lady used to live at 108 Brunswick Street and she had no choice but to take the place because she had little money.

She soon found out that the windows weren’t sealed and during the winter the snow would go through the door.

She also noticed mould would appear in her place and she began to be sick.

To make matter worse?

The place wasn’t properly insulated so the electricity bill went way up.

Good hearted MLA Abel LeBlanc heard about her situation and work very hard to get her somewhere else.

Months before she left, mice started running around the place.

It was terrible.

While she was moving, we noticed mould all over the place.

We took pictures as evidence and I went to the Fredericton building inspector Doug Overbo.

I told him the whole story but nothing was done.

I went to their office on many occasions and told them the workers who cleans or take care of the place only paints over the mould therefore the new tenants wouldn’t have a clue what’s going on?

The place was empty for months until last week.

Some young people moved in and I know it’s hard to believe but I do have a heart.

These people could have young kids with them? Who knows?

I knocked at the door and warned them that the place is full of mould.

The conversation lasted a few seconds and I left the area.

We got the picture of the mould and the mice.

I told the Fredericton building inspector about this.

I even give the Doug Overbo the phone number of the lady but he never called.

I wish that the two days conference would have been in the Capital because I could have told the Government that we have a building inspector in Fredericton who just doesn’t care.

Many believe that because this is the Capital of New Brunswick? Everything is just dandy!!!

But this is surely not the case.

The building inspector Doug Overbo should had have the decency to investigate this urgent issue.

The new tenants are going to get sick but we have people in City hall that just doesn’t care.

So Charles, why not help those in need when you have the
opportunity too, and; LET US NOT BECOME WEARY IN

This is one member of the P.C. Party that I always
respected.

In the spring, he spoke loud and clear against the
Irving's monopoly of Newspapers in this Province.

He's great choice to be in the Cabinet.

As for the other guy behind me?

Could he be the new Health Minister?

I truly believe that it would be political suicide for
any backbencher to accept a Cabinet possition.

HOMELESS PEOPLE DON'T MIND THE WARM WEATHER!!!

The sun is shinning and I'm certain the people living in that tent don't mind. Also? Look at the river? No ice!!!! It hasn't been like this since 1973.

THIS IS NOT BERNARD RICHARD STYLE!!!!

I found this a disturbing site.

Last week while walking by the Ombudsman building.



I noticed all the barricades in his building.

I may add that the Ombudsman office is the only Provincial Building that’s not security lock.



Bernard Richard has an open door policy and this is good for the public.

The Sergeant At Arms should find another place to store these barricades.




It’s bad enough to have them present once the Legislature opens but in the Ombudsman Building?



That’s an insult to Bernard Richard and New Brunswickers.

Put these Barricades out of sight and out of mind from the public eye.

We will see these barricades soon enough in the spring.



We don’t need a reminder that the Capital is changing into Fort Knox.

BERNARD LORD MINISTERS WALKS LIKE TRUE SOLDIERS!!!

Last week while walking on King’s Street?

I noticed Jeannot Volpe and Percy Mockler walking across the street.

I had many pictures taken with the Ministers. It’s a good souvenir but I never got one with Percy.



I always tell Percy that he needs to take his Ritalin!!!

Who can ever forget the time that the LNG Bill was debated in the Chambers of the Legislature.

Percy Mockler stood up and shouted- LNG!!! LNG!!!! LNG!!!!




Afterwards? I always tell him that he needs to take his Ritalin!!!!

On a personal level, I always like the guy.

So therefore I ran across the busy street and asked Jeannot Volpe if he would do me a favor?

He raised his voiced and wasn’t interested in talking to me.



Lately? These Ministers have been pretty touchy with moi.

They haven’t talked to me the same since the By-election in Saint John. They're always trying to avoid moi.




Hey? Who cares anyway? It’s been a war ever since the protest ended.

The Premier refuses to look at the issue of the drugging and the killings of our children so what can I do?



Anyway? I wanted to know the reason the Minister was upset with me?

I heard him mentioned - Quebec!

I truly didn’t understand his message but I guess that it has to do with my battle with the Quebec security staff at the Legislature.





Being an Acadian in Saint John for years? I heard many people from the English population comparing us Acadians to the people from Quebec.

I told the Minsters that Quebecers gives we Acadians a bad name.

I believe that I heard the Finance Minster shout – 90% of our trade or businesses are with Quebec? I'm not sure what he was trying to tell moi?



Well? All I wanted was a picture and I was following the two Ministers down the street.

I asked them - Do you wish to do it the easy way or the hard way?

I just want a picture.

They quickly turned their back on me and continued their little walk.



I quickly took this picture and looks like they are very well trained to walk the Bernard Lord Army! < Take a look at the way they are marching? Same style >…lol

I’m not certain what this episode was all about but he did mentioned that he will reply once I blogged the picture.

Reply to what? That’s what I would love to know?

Does he believe that I’m giving bad press to Quebec because of my battle with the staff at the Legislature?

I had a job for six months and work for four hours until the Quebec security staff decided to tell the contractor to fire me?

So what am I supposed to do?

Walk towards the sunset with my head down?

Sorry! That’s not going to happen!

Why would Mr. Volpe only mentioned Quebec???

Well? I refuse to cross that line and I will keep on fighting for issues that I believe is wrong and in this case?

I know that I speak the truth. Never a dull moment in the Capital! C’est la vie!
