IS ALL THE WATER FROM SPRUCE LAKE GOING DIRECTLY IN THE IRVING PAPER MILL IN WEST SAINT JOHN???

w, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

I have been told that the Irvings are using all the water from Spruce Lake for their Paper Mill.

The residents from Saint John West are using the water from Loch Lomond in East Saint John.

Anyone out there knows the facts on this one?

I don't think so Charles.

Just last year the city built a new water tower behind Medi-trust in west Saint John. In 2004 the city built a new water tower next to the old one located at Martello tower in lower west SJ.

I heard there was talk that at sometime all of Saint John we be on Loch Lomond water and the businesses may get our Spruce Lake water.

Not a good idea for the people of Saint John but just great for Irving.

Our water should be a resource that we can use to make some money to help pay for extras for the city but no they will give ita away to Irving eventually and he will sell it back to us like oil and gas. It is criminal what our politicans will do. It does not matter what party gets in they are sleeping with our enemies; the Irving Empire. We should be a wealthy area if we had fair taxation. The Ban of Thieves are the politicans, large corporations and the corrupted who allow it to happen.
