I have been so occupied with other issues that I totally forgot what was told to me last week.
Of course, I pray it never happens but it does make sense.
I was told that terrorists could attack New Brunswick in the near future?
Point Lepreau?
Nope!!!
The refinery in Saint John?
Wrong again.
I was told that our dams could be attack?
Think about it?
The dams near Perth Andover and Mactaquac blew up at the same time?
Can you imagine the damage?
The terrorists would consider this an attack on the United States because we sell our power to our neighbors in the South.
Can you imagine the City of Fredericton?
All you could see the top of the Dome of the New Brunswick Legislature.
I would suggest that our Government closely guard our dams. If they believe that we’re New Brunswick and no one knows where we are located?
Remember Oklahoma City?
Who would have believe that a City in the Midwest would have been attack?
This Province is so vulnerable and we must defend ourselves.
Lets never forget that we’re in Afghanistan now!
We are no longer the neutral country that we used to be.
We must be prepared for an attack and yes it could happen in little New Brunswick.

If New Brunswick becomes a target then the evil-doers have already lost.

Israeli aggression should be stopped
The G8 summit leaders are meeting and Israel goes on killing innocent civilians in Lebanon without any action from the Big 8. This is totally unacceptable and if it was any other country they would be feeling the wrath of the Big 8 as we speak.
No other country has so abused their firepower and strength, with the exception of the U.S., in pursuing their own goals. Attacking and killing hundreds of civilians in neighbouring countries has been a continuous pattern of Israel for many years and the powers that be say little and do even less. It is time the G-8 countries, especially Canada, put the hammer down on these warmongers and stop their acts of aggression against other countries.
If you look at this latest attack, two soldiers were kidnapped by extremists. In retaliation Israel killed close to 70 civilians, five of which were Canadians. If we use the Israeli mentality, then Canada should attack Israel in retaliation and kill 175 of their civilian population. Sound like a plan? I don't think so.

I do agree with Billy Jo. There was no need for it. You are also pointing out weak points and making connections with U.S.

Yeah I'm sure terrorists were on the web and came across Charles site and said "wait, we forgot about New Brunswick!" You think this is the only place with dams? Personally, as long as nobody was nearby I'd love them to blow up every dam in the province, they completely ruined the environment.
If you think that this 'plants a seed' then that is just stupid, even dumber to blame Charles for even raising the issue. In Ontario the RCMP had to plant a mole who basically ran the entire 'terrorist operation' in order to find any terrorism at all. And you think somebody is sitting at their computer and seeing this saying "gee, look at that dam...I could blow it up!" That's just a special kind of stupid.
Should be able to talk about any issue and that is not a reason to say someone may do as one might suggest. Yes NB could be a target and will we be able to do anything I highly doubt it.
say what you want. it would be pretty dramatic. we'd be another New Orleans but without the survivors.
