THE REASON WE ARE DYING FROM CANCER????

STA_3595, originally uploaded by Oldmaison.

Hi Charles, Be a good lad, and post this on your web!

Too many, people are dying of Cancer in our Province.

This could be the ONE common food we all eat?

Take care, Gail

“POTATEOS WE ALL EAT”

TREATED WITH CHEMICALS

EMAIL your MLA! Go to your FARMER who grows potatoes and ask him what he uses to kill potato tops. I personally buy Certified Organic Potatoes.

No wonder, so many are dying from Cancers!

Definitely to be Band from all Foods consumed by Humans and Animals.

Chemicals To Kill Potato Tops

Found so far DIQUAT
Diquat dibromide is a Bipyridylium compound.

Symptoms of Poisoning with Bipyridylium Compounds

- Paraquat & Diquat: (Ingestion) - burning pain in the mouth, throat, chest, upper abdomen; pulmonary edema, pancreatitis, renal damage, CNS effects.
- Paraquat (dermal): dry and fissured hands, horizontal ridging or loss of fingernails, ulceration and abrasion. Diarrhea, sometimes bloody, can occur. Central Nervous System effects include giddiness, headache, fever, myalgia, lethargy and coma. Pulmonay fibrosis is the usual cause of death.
- Diquat: neurologic toxicity (nervousness, irritability, restlessness, combativeness, disorientation, nonsensical statements, inability to recognize friends or family members, diminished reflexes). Intense nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.

and “SULFURIC ACID SPRAYED ON POTATOES”

Fungicide is one of three main methods of pest control-chemical control of fungi in this case. Fungicides are chemical compounds used to prevent the spread of fungi in gardens and crops, which can cause serious damage to the plants. Fungicides are also used to fight fungal infections.

Fungicides can either be contact or systemic. A contact fungicide kills fungi when sprayed on its surface. A systemic fungicide has to be absorbed by the fungi before the fungi dies. One example is the QoI.

It is used in agriculture to avoid fungus growth because this can harm profits, Corn is often sprayed with fungicides and some fungicides are genitically modified to make sure that they get to work straight away by damaging all of the fungal cells.

In contexts other than agriculture, the term antifungal is often used for similar compounds.

Fungicides can also indirectly be harmful to human health as the cultivated crop is consumed and it can cause irritation as well as many symptoms such as headaches, diarrehea, damaged organs as well as severe disorders and maladies related to the nervous system. It is also a hazard to ecosystems as it can run off and can contaminate water bodies and as it bioaccumulates it can be increasingly toxic to living organisms in the ecosystem.
Hazards Identification

Emergency Overview
--------------------------
POISON! DANGER! CORROSIVE. LIQUID AND MIST CAUSE SEVERE BURNS TO ALL BODY TISSUE. MAY BE FATAL IF SWALLOWED OR CONTACTED WITH SKIN. HARMFUL IF INHALED. AFFECTS TEETH. WATER REACTIVE. CANCER HAZARD. STRONG INORGANIC ACID MISTS CONTAINING SULFURIC ACID CAN CAUSE CANCER. Risk of cancer depends on duration and level of exposure.

Inhalation:
Inhalation produces damaging effects on the mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Symptoms may include irritation of the nose and throat, and labored breathing. May cause lung edema, a medical emergency.
Ingestion:
Corrosive. Swallowing can cause severe burns of the mouth, throat, and stomach, leading to death. Can cause sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea. Circulatory collapse with clammy skin, weak and rapid pulse, shallow respirations, and scanty urine may follow ingestion or skin contact. Circulatory shock is often the immediate cause of death.
Skin Contact:
Corrosive. Symptoms of redness, pain, and severe burn can occur. Circulatory collapse with clammy skin, weak and rapid pulse, shallow respirations, and scanty urine may follow skin contact or ingestion. Circulatory shock is often the immediate cause of death.
Eye Contact:
Corrosive. Contact can cause blurred vision, redness, pain and severe tissue burns. Can cause blindness.
Chronic Exposure:
Long-term exposure to mist or vapors may cause damage to teeth. Chronic exposure to mists containing sulfuric acid is a cancer hazard.
Aggravation of Pre-existing Conditions:
Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or eye problems or impaired respiratory function may be more susceptible to the effects of the substance.

Ironically, many of the newer 'genetically modified' potatoes were coming on the market and needed far less spraying. Unfortunately, this was when the EU banned GMO's and so McCains demanded all farmers cease using GM potatoes-and farmers of course lost an entire years crop.

However, keep in mind that organic potatoes are VERY difficult to grow, so you should always check who they are certified by.

The easiest thing to do is switch to sweet potatoes. They are far easier to grow organically, and are far better for you. The other option is to grow them yourself since in small parcels of land they are easy to care for and grow easily in a greenhouse. A decent cold room will keep them year round.

Keep in mind the exact same things can be said about virtually all the food you eat-strawberries, rhubarb, cucumbers, etc. In fact, you're breathing it in on a day to day basis as well.

What about toilet paper? We all use toilet paper? Could toilet paper be giving us all cancer? Toilet paper is made through a chemical process, including many dangerous chemicals at the pulp to paper level. Those chemicals could be leaking into the anal area when wiping, and leaving cancer causing bacteria around the brown starfish.

Actually, that's not far fetched, though I'm assuming its a joke. Keep in mind that virtually every person growing up in Canada has a huge amount of toxins in their bodies.

But on the above topic, I've never understood why a society that's so obsessed with cleanliness doesn't have a bide as a main feature in their bathrooms. Instead, a piece of paper, albeit softer, is used to ...well, you know.

However, Rona and some building supply stores are beginning to sell bide's. Get up off your ass and get a bide, and get onto your ass!

...thus my previous posts about anal sex being a bad idea medically wise. Our anonymous friend at 11:42 (who won't allow me to call him by his name anymore) is correct about the toxins yet folks at places like AIDS NB and Planned Parenthood continue to advocate it as perfectlly fine. They can advocate it all they want but they should also be up front about the risks. Kids are being led down the garden path on this one.

Where do you get the certified organic potatoes?
Because in canada, there are no control over organic.Anybody can claim organic.I mean really!
Irving and like companies run canada, you don't think they will make any rules to protect consumers do you?Only the states are regulated.

Actually, all sex is 'dangerous', it depends on who you do it with and how you go about it. If people want to try to stop others from having sex, all we can say is 'Good Luck', it's just too damn nice!

As for certification, look at the label, there are lots of different organizations that do certification, some are a joke, others are quite good. I'd post them now but I've got to run.

yeah, come back and tell us where to get the organic potatoes. And organic toilet paper too , if you know. No, I'm not kidding.

i think the proper word is not "bide" but BIDET. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The toilet paper comment is really a serious issue to be looked into.

People don't realize that the area we use the paper absorbs the chemicals and this does cause problems internally and the outside area. Irritating for some but for years of use we are toxic.

Potatoes spraying, apple sraying and so many things we eat that they say is good for us would be if the chemicals could be left out. Organic vegetables and fruit also have problems because the air the soil in some areas especially Saint John and many areas of NB are full of chemicals. Sorry but the big companies like Irving have been killing us and they cover it up. It all goes in the water, air and soil. The packing of food and more items we buy including tilet tissue; NO JOKE!

Ironic Irving gets our water almost free and our wood and so many forgiveable loans. They pollute the water, basically get good water for nothing and now the sell it back to us. Sorry but they should pay for water like they gouge us with gasoline. They say there is no competion well the same can be said for the volume of water they use in a day. Our area needs to make money on our resources; they no longer need a hand up or hand out; it is our turn!

That's all very true, and is of course the tip of the iceberg. Take, for example, the dairy cows in Belledune, one of the most toxic places on the continent. The Mayor of the town is a dairy farmer, and even though the residents test highly for toxins, he wouldn't allow a test on cattle.

So all that milk ends up at the Co-op dairy and gets mixed with the rest of Northumberland milk. Think of that the next time you're feeding it to your kids.

Back to spuds, I could list it here, but best thing to do is go to www.acornorganic.org They have a directory that lets you type in what your looking for. In this area, the certification body is called MCOG. If you buy organic from far away, the best thing to do is remember the certification body and put it in your search engine when you get home.

Irving does get huge breaks, the question is, what are we willing to do about it? Complaining on blogs only goes, well, nowhere. This is not exclusive to New Brunswick, it's actually happening all over the world, mind you it's much worse in NB than most places in Canada and Europe.

It depends on what kind of french you use, both bidet and bide (with an accent) are common. However, for chemicals, it is primarily bleaching agents used to whiten and soften pulp that is used, and these wash out quite easily. Things are getting better as 'organic' TP is available that is unbleached, and today is a far cry from a decade ago when perfumed agents and colourings were very common.
However, do your research online before buying. Different companies vary a great deal in their approach to TP creation (like everything else).

As for the comments above about toxins in the soil, that's true, but there's only so much you can do. In New Brunswick I'd ask organic farmers how far they are from other large farms-the further away the better.

I try to support NB products, but if I found one from Vermont that was certified I'd snap it up faster than you can blink.

Not true 7:33. If you keep one spouse of the opposite sex for life, sex isn't dangerous at all. However most people have perverted it and decided to do whatever feels good, thus the rampant amount of STD's and STI's. A little personal responsibility would go a long way in reducing those problems.

Anonymous said...

A little more free lovin' would reduce a lot of problems too.

Tell me this all, what kind of toilet paper do you suppose Arthur Irving uses? You say Irvings know about this. Do they get sick too? Do they care?
I'm not taking up for the Irvings.
I want to say this though...
Arthur Irving lives on Mt. Pleasant Ave., right in the path of the Marsh Creek stink-hole.
You can't tell me he dosen't smell that stench as soon as he comes out his door in the morning.
He knows what's up with that.
I wonder what he must think.
It wouldn't hurt the Irvings at all to donate the 88 Million for Harbour Clean-Up.
They are the main cause of our waters being polluted in the first place.
If the Irvings DID donate the $88 Million not only would it be a gesture of goodwill, it would also let them get some of their credibility back in many citizens' eyes.

Vanadium Pentoxide is a chemical that oil refinery and power plants use. It causes cancer.

Frequent symptoms : coughing, sore throat, chest pains or discomfort, headaches, runny nose, sneezing or bleeding, wheezing, tiredness, eye irritation, weakness, nausea, vomiting, metallic taste in moth, dizziness, depression, skin alleries, hives and welts. Please try and look at what we are exposed too. All angles need to looked at. Especially since big corporations and industry use chemicals that we are never informed about. Our air, water and soil have been used a toilet of chemicals not just body waste.

Our lives have been affected by so many chemicals and for some reason if you want to have your bllod tested for some of these chemicals you have to go out of the province.

In northern NB where I have family they do have alot of cancer from potato spraying. As the whole province goes we have alot of issues in many city and towns and I don't know all but their is a cover up. Just look at the agent orange for example; they turned their backs on those people.

Answer: Where do you buy Organic?
We purchase Certified Organic.
-Vegetables grown by Earthbound Farm sold by Sobey’s.
http://www.ebfarm.com/
Local farmers when we can find it.
-Meat and Eggs from Bunnett Family Farm of Havelock, New Brunswick. Bunnett’s deliver to our door.

I am saying some organic food is not the best but some studies have been done and they have said it is not any healthier in alot of cases because the soil is contaminated, water and soil too. We can't afford to analyse the elements and chemicals in the soil and it is rare to find good safe soil.

Spraying has happened in alot of areas. Saint John probably has very little soil that would be pure. You can pay more for organic and even sold in Sobey's mean nothing. That is not a guarantee at all.

I Fell In Marsh Creek : When you fell in Marsh Creek, I think you must of had some Brain Damage from some of the Water you may have possibly swallowed.

Why should the Irvings donate the 88 Million for Harbour Clean-Up ?

Even if they did People like yourself, would more than likely still complain about them.

Go back in the Creek for another swim.

You actually think 88 million is alot of money so do I but wake up that is pennies to the Irving Empire. They have accpted assistance, grants, forgiveable loans and so more free land and business deals that they could be accused of welfare fraud but the new buss word or political support is legal but morally you want us to butt out and shut up. We are tired of supporting and helping the richest with what little money we have.

Oh yes they do good things but with our money not theirs. Let's give the UNB one million we can write it off and the workers we would normally pay to educate won't cost us. Great life for some all we want is some change to pay the bills not scrape for all we need everyday.
