It's going to come to this one of these days? The reporters will report stories right from the area they're in.

Why isn't that strange you mention it. Because it was 40 years ago this year the soviets launched that very thing with Orbita. Then america's Anik 1 in 1972.
The thing about laptops that suck for outdoor blogging are the lack of battery life and problems with glare off the screen in bright lights. If you can power up someplace like a cafe - you're golden.
Toshiba used to make a good product, if you're looking for ideas - they take a licking and keep on ticking. Plus, their batteries don't seem to blow up as much... (unlike Sony, Dell or Apple).
You seem to be implying that Charles is like a communist spaceman TV reporter. Not much of a slight, in my book - just about the coolest thing ever, if you think about it.

Invest in a mobile lock.
Orbita?

Beware Irving and their ilk.
P.S. - Don't hold back Charles - keep your face in the pictures - you're already an (internet) celebrity.
They already report from where they're at, Mr. Journalist.
This is nothing new. Isn't that what they're doing when a reporter is reporting live from an event?
During big events such as the Olympics or special ceremonies, the CBC has kept blogs from time to time that are updated continuously on location.
Charles, I think that's the best picture of yourself I've seen in awhile. LOL Keep up the good work.
:P
