There have been many nasty comments about me covering the Remembrance Day ceremony in Saint John!

Lets get one thing straight right now!
If the event had been held at King’s Square?
Nobody would have noticed that I was there?
Maybe?
lol
Anyway? As for the dress Code? I believe that I looked quite good for a journalist.
Take a close at the pictures?

Now? I wore all black during the Atlantica Conference in Saint John!
Look what happened?
I got a jacket that says - Blogger in the back and a hat with the same message,
If after my trial, I would have been found guilty? I would have once again been arrested and charge.
I’m a court appointed Journalist and that’s the way it is!
As long I don’t cross the line? I should be treated equally as the Irving’s employees.
Of course Tim Porter will make certain this never happens? I wonder why Shawn Graham is keeping that guy on the payroll?
He could cause Shawn Graham the next provincial election because of his attitude!!!
Get used to it? The hat and jacket are there for my protection and the cops!
Once there’s action in an area? They soon are able to recognize me.

Well, there you go.Porter-jealousy of Charles. The graham fellow jealousy of charles, but knows how to hide it.Brunswick news-jealousy WOW of charles.A host of unknown bloggers, craving to be a CL clone.
Imagine, being able to go where ever he wants, and sets the terms. With NBER"S sucking up to a former dock worker!
Charles, there is something you should know. I heard the evil Porter say this week that he is preparing a lawsuit - slander, I think - but all he really wants is an out-of-court settlement. Charles, he wants your blogger hat and jacket! He is consumed with the thought of himself strutting down King Street in your blogger outfit. You should hear his evil laugh when he speaks of it. Hide the hat and jacket now Charles. Don't let him get his evil hands on them!
Charles, I just saw Porter at the market with a blogger hat on. Are any of yours missing?
What you deserve is to be treated just like any other person in this province and that is what your trial showed. What the judge did state was that any citizen of this province has the right to do what you were there doing. On the other hand you are really free to call yourself what you please. Blogger, Journalist, King of New Brunswick, Savior of the World take your pick, you can be them all in your own mind and your free to tell the world but bee prepaid to take the inevitable criticism that comes with self anointing. Don't be so naive as to confuse tolerance with acceptance when it comes to the events you happen to blog. There has been no stores posted in this blog that anyone with a camera and the desire could have not covered even without the benefit of a hat and matching jacket.
Tolerance and acceptance are close enough, but after years of blogging I hardly doubt charles 'isn't prepared for criticism', he gets far more of it at his own site than the Irvings or CBC get anywhere. As for what he calls himself, that of course is free speech, he can call himself what he wants. Charles is obviously not the same as every citizen because he doesn't act like every citizen, he has a public blog with lots of photos and stories that no other bloggers or media cover. The only thing that sets him apart from the Irving rags is that he does it for free and has more pictures.
That Charles doesn't act like every citizen doesn't make him any more a journalist. There are plenty of activists out there doing as much if not more without a blog or a camera. As to what Charles covers, aside from making absurb remarks about the security staff at the legislature and reprinting pictures of the Irvings in the caricature of Hitler he actaully covers nothing that any of the main stream media hasn't and he most definitly adds little to what they have already printed aside from his own slightly distorted personal opinion.
Could someone please explain the words 'court appointed" to Charles. As usual, he doesn't seem to have a firm graps of the English language.
Also, Charles, please have a lawyer review the court decision and explain it to you. No judge ever claimed you were a journalist. All they said was you had a right to be there doing what you were doing. That does not make you a journalist; "court appointed" or otherwise.
I can call myself Doctor if I want but it doesn't give me the skills, training or experience to take out your spleen. Although, if you'd like me to try, I'd be more than happy to give it a shot. Bring your camera and you can blog the procedure.
Just keep in mind, if I screw it up, you'll have no hospital administrator or malpractice insurance to sue... just like if you misrepresent a story or slander someone, your "victim' will have nobody to complain to either... and therein is why you cannot, and should not, get media access to events.
You don't answer to anyone and therefore nobody can correct your mistakes or take responsibility for your wrong doings.
