Subject:Ombudsman to oversee Ukraine election

I am not fan of that many politicians but I am
surely fan of Bernard Richard. He was true friend of
autistic community when he was in the legislature. It
has not been the same since he left. I hope he has
successful and safe trip to Ukraine.

CHARLES HERE AND YES….WE WISH HIM THE VERY BEST OF
LUCK!!!!!!

AND

From the being evicted- I was talking to my
cousin about having to move and the eviction thing and
the global news when Mikaela came to me and said
"MOMMY WE'RE MOVING? HOW WILL SANTA FIND US?" I
thought that was heart breaking, and I'm sure that
your readers would too.

I am very very very sorry for yesterday update. I
bought the papers home and read it!
My God? I missed a lot of words and the grammar???
Uggghhh…. Oh well? The same will happened with this
one.
Why is there a difference from looking for
mistakes on the monitor than on paper??? I see
mistakes on a piece of paper that I wouldn’t noticed
on the screen!
Oh well? C’est la vie…
Once again? Anyone going to Saint John on December
24th??? Send me an email!
Speaking of Christmas? Someone gave me a package
last night and quickly disappear in the evening dark
skies!
Once home, I opened it and it was a nice pair of
winter soxes!!! Sure will used the pair for the cold
winter months!
The funny part is that in another package there
were all kinds of Christmas goodies! Chocolate home
made stuff!
No wonder the person made a quick exit???
The individual didn’t wish to be around after I
ate those nice sugar goodies!!!!..lol…
Education is the key to ADHD!!!!!..LOL….

I like this story-

Andy Rooney: CBS News Anchor?

Dec. 12, 2004

(CBS) I have a good job here at 60 Minutes, but we all
like a change once in a while, and I've been thinking
of becoming an anchorman.

There are a lot of job opportunities opening up these
days. Tom Brokaw left the NBC Nightly News. Dan Rather
announced he's leaving in March. Can Peter Jennings be
far behind?

There are a lot of good things about being an
anchorman -- several million good things.

You get a great place to sit while you work, too.

"Good evening. I'm Andy Rooney -- and don't you forget
it. Tonight, news about the end of the world, but
first, several commercials for some of the disgusting
things that are probably wrong with you. You may want
the children to leave the room."

Yeah big industries pushing their product to
the limit!
Here in New Brunswick, Bernard Lord isn’t the
least concern of the issue.
Someone asked me yesterday - Do you honestly
believe Charles that once Shawn Graham is the Premier
that the issue of Ritalin will be studied?
I quickly answered- YES!!!! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!!
If by any chance that Shawn Graham would take the same
high road as Bernard Lord and ignore this very
critical issue?????
Well? I would be very very very upset and the
whole world would know about it!
Bernard Lord before he was elected Premier told me
there’s was a major problem with Ritalin and once our
Party is in power we will study the issue but of
course they was all a lie so what can we do????
Elizabeth Weir asked last week for the report on
Suicide?
Well? Beside New Brunswickers taking their lives
away because of the VLT’S? There’s another area that I
am very interested in!
There’s many youths who took their lives away and
I would love to know how many of were forced on
Ritalin as a child???? I know of two cases that
teenagers have taken their own lives because of
Ritalin!
Someone told me that Bernard Lord will not study
the issue of Ritalin because it’s Charles LeBlanc
asking?
My God? You mean that the Premier don’t deal with
terrorists ????..lol…
It’s not Charles LeBlanc it’s the 10,000 or 15,000
kids who suffers from the backlash of the public
because they have ADHD!!!!

Speaking of ? Read this one from 60 minutes –

But Williams tells Wallace that the real reason he
left was to avoid the public humiliation that would
undoubtedly follow news that he had just failed a
test for the third time.

"The thing that I had the most trouble with was that
after you fail your third test, then it becomes public
knowledge that you failed the test. And that's the one
thing that I couldn't deal with at the time. People
knowing that I smoke ," says Williams. "That
was my biggest fear in my whole entire life. I was
scared to of that."

This story is from Ricky Williams. You can read the
rest at
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/12/16/60minutes/main661572.shtml

What I find find strange about this story is that
the Irvings have a very strict test! They will
approached an employee and tell them to go to the
company doctor for an sample!
These Irving employees with their three piece suit
and shoes runs down the street to a store that sell a
bottle of some kind of formula that get rid of
evidence of in their system!
How come Ricky Williams never tried this? Maybe
the NFL make you give a test right on the spot!
Who knows?
OK…..Last evening, I learned that The Fredericton
Soup kitchen served 200 meals at Noon!
I asked George Pierce if they was unusual? He told
me that in the month of January through March, the
serve over 200 meals every day at noon!
Once he left the building? Being Charles LeBlanc?
The reporter working underground for free of charge!
I quickly read his black book and noticed that in
the month of January through March, the kitchen only
went over the 200 meal number only once.
So the question is this? Why is the number going
up in December?
Would it be because many of them are denied
financial aid from Family Services???
Many questions to be asked? Look at the Native
Woman! Family Services made certain that the Native
status woman is in debt before helping her out
financially!
OHHH????? I MUST GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT’S DUE!!!!
Someone showed up at the Kitchen and asked us if
he could donate his turkey to the needy!
Well, I asked the guy which company did he work
for?
He told me that he works for the Daily Gleaner and
the Irvings gave them a turkey for Christmas!
I remember the days at the shipyard, we used to
have a turkey every Christmas. You would think that
the Irvings would give a turkey to the shipyard
workers now because I’m certain they could used it!
Why give a turkey when an employee makes $50,000
per year???
Sure was nice of the Irving employee to give his
turkey away!!!
Well? I have many more stories but I’m going to
leave the readers comments. Again excuse the style and
grammar of this update because as you can tell? I just
write the darn thing and send it along! Here’s some
comments! P.S. THERE’S MANY COMMENTS TO READ…YOU
BETTER TAKE A PRINT OUT!!!!

1- Did you receive any e-mails will to drive you to
Saint John?

2- Hi Charles;

Thanks and i'll pass your comments on to the parents

Have a Merry Christmas

later;

3- Hi There,

I have to give you advice to pass onto your
friend. First of all the truth hurts deeply, but the
fact that her son stole $1100.00 from her accounts
tells me that his problems might be more serious then
she thinks.
Drugs are expensive and if he is on either
cocaine or based pills like dilaudid or
Oxi-contin then she needs to seek help fast.
There is no cure for and for that he would
have to go to rehab and come off of it himself with
the Love and Support from his family and friends.
If he is on Dilaudids then at least we have a
methadone clinic coming here ??????? and he should
have his name added on the list. Its not like it
use to be and these kids are playing with the wrong
things. I beleive that when the school system, police
try to spread their message "DON'T DO ", they
should go a little further then that and say "IF

ARE WHAT YOU CHOSE TO DO THEN THIS IS WHAT CAN
HAPPEN". Kids do not listen to anything that begins
with Don't but if there were real people, or
someone with knowledge doing a pamplet and telling
them what can happen that might send the message to
the kids that ARE CRAP any way that you look
at it. It is alarming at the amount of kids on
drugs. And lets not forget that these highly addictive
drugs in most cases have only to be taken once
to cause problems. They should also know that without
family support the likelyness of her son getting off
and staying off is slim. The more support a person
gets the better they do. The mother should also take
anything that she values and put it in a safe place
until her son is under control because if he is sick
as he sounds the money won't be the only
thing missing. Once they start stealing from their
family they hit an alltime low and the only thing on
their minds is and where will the next fix come
from. You should tell them to e-mail Elvy Robichaud
because he should have all of the answers and maybe
she can ask him why it took him 4 years to do anything
about the perscription problem that they
knew all about and did nothing. Wait and see how many
of our NB kids are addicts, its not a pretty picture
but its real.

4- Hey, I don't like that kind of talk. After you sat
on the legislature for two months did you say "OK,
I've done enough!" People like us can
never do enough, there's just too much to do! I was
glad to hear the woman got a cheque
from those SOB's. Do you know much about the
Fredericton Anti Poverty
Organization? Do they do good work? Are they the
ones who run the
soup
kitchen?

6- Hey, Charles, Happy Guilty Conscience Day! I think
a christmas
package to
you, there's some stuff there for the woman and some
others you can take to
the
soup kitchen or enjoy yourself. We're going up to
northern ontario on
wednesday so I look forward to lots of updates when I
get home in a
week.
Unfortunately, since the box was heavy I had to send
it regular post so
it
may not be there by friday.
In other news, I got a kick out of your letter from
your friends who
have
a 22 year old stealing money for booze and .
Imagine wanting to
put
your kid on a to get him off other !
Anyway, if he's 22
then
he's an and they can't make him take anything
anyway. My
question
would be whether he is an actual addict or
alcoholic, or whether
he
just 'wants to have a good time'. When I was young I
did some stealing
for
booze and pool, but stopped long before 22 (when I got
a job and
actually
made my own money). If he's an addict then obviously
they have a
serious
problem on their hands, and should check out the local
library for
books on
dealing with a addicted family member. If he's
just stealing
because
they're an 'easy mark' then it may be even more
difficult since it may
involve NOT being an easy mark. Not being a victim
may drive him away,
however, addicts literally live in a world that
revolves around
themselves since much like a starving person, their
mind is simply
geared
toward the next fix. Again, they should get on the
internet or
library,
because this is a big issue which a prescription
is not going to
solve.
Ritalin sounds like the LAST thing to prescribe, but
of course, I'm not
an
expert and don't know these people.

7- I only read the ones I have time to read. and that
are interested to
me.

8- Hi Charles,

I'm on vacation for the next few weeks - can you
take me off your
list?

Thanks,

9- THE IRVINGS THINK THAT THEY ARE GOD; BECAUSE THE
PEOPLE GIVE THEM TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH POWER!

10- This is from the guy who runs the bernardlord.com
site… he was on CBC radio this morning-

Charles, I received this message the
futureprimeminister@bernardlord.com address. There is
no need to send to both addresses.

Thanks,
dan

11- Minister Steeves is fine and has been discharged
from the hospital.
Thank you for your concern and have a Merry Christmas.

ML MacGregor
On behalf of Minister Steeves

12- Well, you have to be a good boy if you want to see
Santa!!!!!!!

13- I'm still here Charles. Nice to hear from you.
I'm sure lots of people
are tired of you, but keep it up. It's important for
democracy to have
citizens who question authority. You do it as well as
anyone. Hang in
there.

16- Have nice holidays and I will see you first week
of January.
Take good care of yourself. < politician >

17- Still With you Charles,

18- Still here....haven't been online lately...too
hectic...with my dad, my
seperation...my kids, work, bills, Christmas...ugh..I
am
overloaded...but
still with ya Charles...hope yer having a good day...

19- sure if we are home drop in......What do you
drink????? < people in Memramcook > I haven’t been
there for 2 years!!

20- we are still here charlie,

21- I'm not scared, still reading. :)

I don't agree with everything you say, or sometimes,
the way you say
it, but
I agree with lots.

22- I'm still here. We've been so friggin busy these
past few weeks that I haven't been able to respond
to you at all. It doesn't look like I'm going to
have a lot of time next week either.
I do want to wish you a very Merry Christmas Charles.
Keep up the good fight.

23- Yes,l'm still alive ...just been very busy

24- Hi: i am with you in spirit, even if the body is
in the warm (!!!!)
sunny
south. wishing you a happy christmas and new year.
congratulations on sharing the bernard lord blog site.
very good!! nice
sense
of humour! and so true.
what is the company that makes ritalin? is it the same
company
marketing a
heart that kills you? interesting that the
biggest selling and
advertised
drugs are the worst ones for people to take. enough to
shake the
confidence in
the government testing labs. maybe we should ask why
the department of
health
does not know about these . millions are spent
each year to test
and
monitor the results of the use of these , yet it
is the marginal
news
media that forces the general public to recognize that
the products are
worse
than the problem they are supposed to cure.
check out the new mental health act in the u.s. all
persons are to be
tested
and must measure to a political standard or be
forcibly ged, or
removed
from their jobs and refused benefits , etc. the
scariest breach of
individual
rights in the history of mankind.
in the meantime, stay warm, have some eggnog, and
enjoy the carols.

25- Please delete my name off of your list
Thanks Pat Carter

26- I am still with you. I have been busy cooking and
drinking for the
holiday!!!!!ha ha ha

27- Charlie--you know they say if someone has adhd
that they can't concentrate and stick with
anything....well, you sure have stuck like glue to
your projects and nobody can sway you even for your
own best interest or anything--- from your
crusades....

28- SCARE ME..........are you
kidding............Charlie, I told you
before,
when I see anything about the Irvings, I simply delete
it.

29- People are busy- you keep busy too- it will pass-
we all have our days
and
some days you wonder why- but God then reminds you
"because you can,
and
others cannot not" - I dropped off 2 certificates for
food for needy
families today- why? "because I can and others cannot
not"...I am
blessed
and so are you...KW

30- Oh yeah, I'm still here, I forgot your request for
replies though,
sorry
about that. It's only politicians and businesspeople
who scare me:)

31- I have not had time to read any of your messages
for weeks now, so, I
guess
you can say I am not with you of late. So, you can drop
my name if you
so
wish, as things are not going to change in the near
future.

32- See Charlie it was your ADHD that made you
determined enough to chase
the
Premier for 2 days and I am sure if it would of taken
a week you would
of
still been looking for him. I am glad that the
Premier mentioned him
because he is a good man and that is hear-say from
many people that
know
him. Please send him my Congratulations on his 40
years of service. I
hope that the homeless man found shelter last night.
It really makes
you
wonder why they tear buildings down, close large
sections of the
hospital,
unnecessary and so on when we have NBers sleeping
outside in the cold.
Its
a real shame and shame on the government!

33- Good job Charles...we make a good team....

It was perfect how you were telling me about Father
Brien's 40th anniversary...i said it should be a
congrats statement by one of our members and you
suggested the Premier...thanks...I'm sure Father Brien
appreciated it...

34- Someone that was your enemy wrote this to try and
get you into trouble and I am sure that you can feel
who it is.........??????????? WE KNOW IT WASN’T YOU!!!

35- A friend of mine told me that she is sharing
custody with her sister of her 6 year old
son....because in the apartment where she lives;
people were complaining that he was being too noisy
and not minding good...so, she found her son a place
to live with her sister that has a house and a big
yard...So, it is come down to placing kids on private
property with big yards where they won't bother people
in apartments.....?????

36- I LOVE your updates.

37- Hey Charles, I'm still reading. I'll admit that I
don't read every update, but I read at minimum one per
week is my guess. And I'd probably read more if I
didn't have these other piles in front of me. Please
keep sending them my way.

I've got a story to tell you too. And it relates to a
piece of what you just sent me, about the landlord
"not wanting people to hang around". I don't mind if
you tell other people about it, but I'm just asking
that you don't use my name for now. Thanks.

This happened at the end of August:
At the end of the whole Tent City story this summer,
when we finally got removed from location #3 on the
lawn of the Legislature, there were only three of us
around and at least five or six tents, some quite full
of stuff. The others weren't around. The police and
the guards at the Legislature were picking up our
stuff and moving it onto the backs of pick-up trucks
to take it all to the station. They gave us the option
of clearing out immediately or they'd do it for us.

We took option #1. Me and another guy then carted the
stuff away in a couple of shopping carts to take it to
my apartment that was a few blocks away. I said I'd
keep people's stuff for them and would try and get in
touch with everyone to let them know. So we begin
unloading the carts and going up and down the stairs
with these garbage bags full of stuff until everything
is in my apartment. I then roll the shopping cart to
the trail nearby and leave it in the bushes so that
someone else could use it. It seemed like the
neighborly thing to do.

Once I walked back into my apartment, it didn't take
more than a few minutes before the phone rang and it
was my landlord! She was calling me about a concern
she had. She was telling me that she was informed
about shopping carts and garbage bags and a shopping
cart being rolled into the bushes. I'm thnking, "What
the #$%#!? Does she have spies around here?" She asked
me if anyone was moving in, making it clear that I was
supposed to be the only one living in my bachelor
apartment. I let her know that there was no one moving
in and that there was no reason for her to come to
that assumption simply because I was keeping some
stuff in my apartment. I let her know that I was
storing some stuff for friends. She came to know that
I was involved in that whole Tent City thing, and this
seemed to concern her. She said that she didn't want
any of "those kinds of people" hanging around the
building. I'm glad I kept my cool or else I probably
would have been evicted. She let me know that there
are certain "other" kinds of people around the
building who would be offended by certain unsightly
presences. I let her know that I got along fine with
the neighbours. The conversation ended shortly after.

She comes to my apartment a few days later and says
SHE'S NOT GOING TO RENEW THE LEASE, because I was
coming to the end of my first year. She said she was
still worried about the sight from the other day. I
re-iterated that she had no grounds and that her
"concern" had no substance to it whatsoever: I was
never late on rent, there were never any noise
complaints or any other disorderly complaints about
me. She had nothing. She could ask the neighbours and
would find that we were all on good terms. I let her
know that I didn't appreciate the threat. She changed
her mind on the spot and said that she reconsidered.
So I wasn't evicted.

That's the power of landlords in this city. TOO MUSH
POWER! That's got to change.

38- I believe you Charles!

39- I know one thing it wasn't you who wrote that blup
about the Premier.
It
truly isn't your style but beware of imposters and
what their motives
might
be. I am sure the Premier can contact a source and
know who sent that
message and that is what should be done. You say
things the way you see
them to their face or in a column and we do appreciate
it.

40- I do receive your updates. Keep up the good work.

Very saddened to hear about single-mother with two
small children being evicted just before Christmas. I
cannot believe this is happening in New Brunswick,
Canada. What happened to compassion and what happened
to Christ's message; to love fellow human beings and
do not do to others what you do not want to be done to
yourself. It is very heart-wrenching to hear that
little child said "MOMMY WE'RE MOVING? HOW WILL
SANTA FIND US?" Will bitterness become part of his
character when he grows up. It is all very wrong to
treat a single mother and her young children like
that, make them homeless, in of the winter and
just before Christmas.

41- Thanks, it sure does help me understand your
problems with Gulf
Operators.
Still can't tell why you think it's ok to call the
people who work at
Human
Rights racist. I guess obviously you're angry the
Commission rejected
your
compaint, but how are they racist? To me, a racist is
someone who s
people because of their race. I don't see where
there's at the
Commission. Help me understand?
CHARLES HERE--- AT THE END???I MADE THE GUY
UNDERSTAND!!!

42- You keep calling the members and staff of the NB
Human Rights
Commission
racist. I've read all your emails over the last year
or so, and I still
can't see any real reason why you use such a ful
label.

I do see that you once filed a complaint with the
Commission, and I
think it
had something to do with ADHD, and it didn't go the
way you wanted. But
I
don't see anything that explains why that means anyone
is racist.

I also know someone who was a supervisor at the
shipyard said some
racist
things. But you haven't ever explained what a racist
shipyard
supervisor has
to do with supposed at the Human Rights
Commission.

"Racist" is a very potent label, I think you should be
careful with it,
and
explain yourself to your readers. I don't think you
should worry about
legal
trouble, I just think it's unChristian to call people
names, and I'd
like to
hear your explanation.

Thanks in advance...

43- I havent' heard anything either, but once I do,
I'll let you know. That social worker called me. She's
sending a letter to the rentalsman today!!! So, it
looks like things are starting to move a little bit.
Thanks so much for all your help Charlie, You really
are a gem! I love you!

43- That would be a nice honor that is for sure and he
does deserve it, he
could pray in both french and in english. I could see
them not wanting
to
do it because not everyone is Catholic so keep that in
mind while you
are
doing your good deed for the day.

44- My feelings about parents these days>>>>>>They can
be a target of alot of bad things happening to make
them victoms of whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are in a
vulnerable spot because they don't want to loose their
beloved children or the place they rent or live and
older people that know the laws and how to bend them
to fit their own needs and wants can be devestating to
parents always having to comply with society.....and
I'm not talking about the parents that neglect their
kids and put them on society...but, ordinary parents
caught in the middle of trying to please society and
do whats right by their kids....and they are put on
the defensive and unjustly treated sometimes......

45- Awesome Charles- that's great- hands on help is
the best way and the
respect
is what people need, because it is not easy being
there eating...
