DO THESE COMERCIALS FROM ATLANTIC LOTO DRIVE YOU CRAZY???
STEPHEN HARPER IS NOT IN POWER YET BUT THE ARMY IS ON THE STREETS!
Just kidding this guy was in front of the Legislature this afternoon. He left the army around three weeks ago and he's angry that his family had to live in condemn building for years. My God? It was cold!!! Our Army boys are tough!!!
But? I went back at the Legislature one hour later and our soldier boy was gone!
SHAME ON NEW BRUNSWICK FAMILY SERVICES AND THE IRVING NEWSPAPER!!!
While walking on the streets of the Capital? I was approached by an individual about a concern problem.
I was asked to go to a certain room on Regent Street and tell the people in that room that you’re Charles LeBlanc!
I told the individual that’s pretty scary to walk into a stranger
place and say that???
It could be a hitman?..lol…
Being Charles? < nosy >
I decided to go and have a look. I knocked at the door and was told to come in because the door was unlocked.
Once inside, I noticed a young couple in their mid-20s sitting against the wall on a mattress on the floor.
I recognized the young girl from the Soup Kitchen.
I was told that her boyfriend was in a halfway house.
I guess the story wasn’t true because he was in the building.
They seem a nice couple so I introduced myself?
The attractive young girl showed me this clipping in the newspaper.
I noticed that the girl was wearing a nice silver cross around her neck.
It was hard to believe that I was reading about the same guy who was laying down on the mattress.
I heard the same story over and over.
The Doctors prescribes the prescription and these individuals get hook on the drugs.
I still say here in New Brunswick?
Many of these doctors are legal drug dealers.
The issue that really grabbed my attention is that the Irving Newspaper < Daily Gleaner > printed the guy address!!!
Everything!! Street and number!!!
The Irving’s went as far as printed the room number.
That’s disgusting!!!
These reporters are always writing about crime in this City but now they are encouraging these drug addicts to continue their drug trade or crime by publishing their address????
Sickening!!
You must understand that old junkies friends or drug dealers will know where he’s located therefore encouraging the poor guy to go back on a crime spree.
To make matter worst?
The Government with our famous Family Services has also encourage this former junkie to continue their old ways.
The young guy went for his methadone yesterday morning but found out that New Brunswick Family Services have cut the guy off from the Methadone.
The couple was told that they would have to re-apply for social assistance as a couple but until then?
The Lord Government will not pay for the guy methadone!!!
So? The guy is under House arrest and got no money for methadone?
What is he suppose to do?
Why is Family Services denying this individual Methadone?
It just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever!
I always knew that Bernard Lord is always ignoring the drug problem in this Province but this is ridiculous!
I would write a letter to the Irving’s paper but since Brian Kemp left the Gleaner the new Editor have denied my letter.
He must have been trained at Saint Thomas?
The Irving Paper of the Daily Gleaner and the New Brunswick Government should be ashamed of themselves on this issue.
The question is this? If I hear all these sad stories in a small City?
What the hell is going on in the rest of the province.
Before leaving? I told the couple that I will definitely write their story but I told them that I’m just a blogger so don’t expect any quick action.
Bureaucrats and MLA’s read this blog but will they act on this shameful issue? Of course not!
The guy name and address is in the court section in this blog!
Shame on Family Services and the Irving’s newspapers to give this poor soul a more difficult time!!!
SHAME …SHAME…SHAME!!!!
WHICH DO YOU LIKE BETTER??? HUMAN BEINGS OR MACHINES???
Last evening, I walked in rain to the Atlantic Superstore.
I love walking in the rain but I found it a long walk because of the ice.
Once there, I picked up my prescription and I noticed they had a big sale on their bread.
In the past, I always love Butternut bread but during the past few months, I really love Wonder Bread.
There’s a certain taste in that bread that I really like.
Once in that section, I noticed that the retail store had a wonderful special on Wonder bread.
It cost $1.19 per loaf.
I quickly grabbed two loafs of bread.
Once at the counter, I decided to try their automatic machines.
In the past, I would put the bills inside the machines and my change would come out.
This time around, I only had change.
After asking a woman who overlooks the machines where I put the change?
I started to put the change inside the machine but I soon ran into a problem.
I WAS THREE CENTS SHORT!!!
Embarrassing??? You bet???
What am I suppose to do now???
In the past, If I was short a few pennies?
I would grabbed a few cents from the penny pouch at the counter or the clerk would say - It’s ok!!!
Pay me next time!!!! Or if I have pennies in my change? I would put them in the penny pouch.
But not this time!!!! The machines was telling me - I need three more cents!!! I wasn't going anywhere until it had its three cents!!!
If I just ignored the three cents and leave? What would happen? Would a huge alarm go off? Would security quickly surround me and charge me with thief??? I was in a jam and didn't know what to do?
I quickly looked around if I knew somebody and as luck would have it?
There was a guy beside me?
Well? Here we go???
Charles the panhandler!!!
The guy told me that he only had bills in his wallet but he knew that I had a problem because the machine in front of me had no emotion and it wanted the three cents!!!
The poor guy ran to the counter and the clerk gave the guy some changes.
He gave me a quarter and in return I gave the guy 22 cents.
Sighhhhh…all this for three cents???...lol…
So here comes my question?
Do you like the machines better than the clerks?
The clerks at the Superstore are terrific.
Just for the record? The manager at the Atlantic SuperStore told me that 38% of the costumers enjoy the machines.
What’s your opinion???
A SPECIAL GOD'S PRAYER!!!
My uncle Al is having a major operation done on his kidneys today. My prayers for a speedy recovery.
A RIGHTEOUS MAN MAY HAVE MANY TROUBLES, BUT
THE LORD DELIVERS HIM FROM THEM ALL.
( PSALM 34:19 *NIV )
Dear Charles,
We all face troubling times in our lives. Times that we
wish that we could escape from troubles like the pain of
sorrow, grief or failure to just name a few. Even perhaps
the small daily frustrations that constantly bother us as well.
When you find yourself experiencing problems like that
remember that; THE LORD IS CLOSE TO THE BROKEN
HEARTED AND SAVES THOSE WHO ARE CRUSHED IN
SPIRIT. ( PSALM 34:18 ) For after all; THE EYES OF THE
LORD ARE ON THE RIGHTEOUS AND HIS EARS ARE
ATTENTIVE TO THEIR CRY. (PSALM 34:15 ) For when;
THE RIGHTEOUS CALL OUT, AND THE LORD HEARS
THEM; HE DELIVERS THEM FROM ALL THEIR TROUBLES.
( PSALM 34:17 )
Now you may be thinking, how does that apply to me for
I do not feel very righteous. Well through Jesus Christ we
become righteous, for it is written: GOD MADE HIM WHO
HAD NO SIN TO BE SIN, SO THAT IN HIM WE MIGHT
BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD.
( 2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 ) Therefore if we repent of our sins
they are cleansed from "The Book of Life," and we become
righteous once again!
So Charles, remember the Words of our Savior Jesus
Christ; "DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED.
TRUST IN GOD; TRUST ALSO IN ME." and let GOD deliver
you from all of your troubles! Amen. ( JOHN 14:1 )
With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen
