Afterwards, I walked by and the Police officer said- Mr.Bloggeeerrr!!!

I quickly recognized the French accent so I asked - Vous parlez Francais?

He replied - Oui Monsieur!!!!

Where are you from I asked?

He proudly told me- Je viens de Gatineau, Quebec!!!!

I shot back NON...NON...NON....LES MAUDIT QUEBECOIS SONT DES POLICE DE VILLE MAINTENANT???? ARG.!!!!!!! I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!

I’m certain that the poor young Police officer didn’t know what was going on???? < Poor guy! >....lol

I investigated this issue of the reason we have Quebecois doing local police work?

I mean surely there must be Acadians who can do the job???

I was told by a source that Acadians didn’t apply for the job so they had to go to Quebec.

We do need Frenchmen in the Police Force because I remember a few years ago during a protest against the hospital cuts in Shipaggan?

This is a picture of Denis Losier < One of the protesters > He and his brother died in a motor Cycle accident a couple of weeks after this picture was taken.

Around 15 Police officers showed up but nobody could speak le Francais.

So? This is the reason I waited for Dan Bussieres outside of City Hall last week.

Now you know the reason I waited one hour for my picture? I had the story but needed a pic of Dan Bussieres at City Hall!!!

Was he there to make certain that more Quebecois are hired by City Hall for the local Police Force?

This guy is a Acadian and that's a good thing.

IMG_8869_edited

There’s a whole wack of Quebecois working at the Legislature and now Dan Bussieres is pushing maudit Quebecois in the Police Force?

Is he trying to make his little army in the Capital?? Does he want to be a General???

vavadanbussieres

Very scary stuff!!!

If there was one New Brunswicker working a L’Assemblee Nationale du Quebec? There would be an revolution till that individual was removed. Why are we allowing Quebecois to work here???

Very good question!!!

By the way? The young Police Officer from Quebec sounded like a very nice guy!!

He just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time!!!..lol

Here I sit in my little room at around 11:15pm on a Thursday evening and I must admit that I am very sad.

I just learned a couple of hours ago that Father Daniel Thivierge died this morning in his hometown in La Belle Province at a very young age of 31 years old.

I first met this young ordained Catholic Priest during the past summer.

Because of the scandals in the Churches, it makes a person wonder- Why is this handsome man a Priest?

The scandals has ruined it for all the good Priests but they continue on to preach the word of the Lord.

On a nice warm Sunday morning, this young Priest full of happiness showed up at the doors of L’Eglise Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas.

Chuck
Misc 139

He was an ordained Priest from the Canadian Armes Forces located in Gagetown. He was the youngest serving Roman Catholic priest in the Armed Forces.

He quickly bowed to Father Brien.

I found that action very interesting. It was just as he was bowing with respect to the Master Priest who has been ordained 40 years ago.

Maybe Father Brien was thinking – My God? How time flies? This young Priest is ready to take over the reign.

Picture 109

Father Thivierge put his white robe on and with great pride gave the service beside Father Brien.

It was nice to see these two individuals standing side by side praising the word of the Lord.

It’s a darn shame that I didn’t have my camera with me.

I had a little conversation with the young Priest and I quickly found out that I am very very very lucky I have Father Brien as a priest.

What a huge difference in a conversation from a Priest you have known for 40 years compare to someone you have just met.

Misc 135

You must be very careful with your choice of words because it takes a very long time for each of us to know the other person.

There’s one episode that stands out in my mind that I will never forget.

As I have been doing for the past year? I would pick up the church booklets after the service.

Picture 024

On a certain Sunday, Father Thivierge walked by me after the service and I told him - If you would have told me 30 years ago that one day I’ll be doing this???

Picture 036

I would have told you that you were crazy!!!

The young Priest paused for a second and said - Only an imbecile doesn’t change and continued out the door.

My God??? That’s good!!!

I told Father Brien that the young Priest was good with lines.

Only a imbecile doesn’t change? It sure made me think?

In early December, Father Brien gave his usual 3 to 5 minutes news after the services.

Picture 025

He announced to the congregation that Father Daniel Thivierge had Cancer.

I almost shouted from the back- WHAT?????

After the service Father Brien told me that he had 2 weeks to live.

My God? It was terrible!!!

I followed Father Brien to Sunday School but I never paid attention to his words od wisdom because all of my five ADHD brains were on Father Thivierge tragic event.

Afterwrds, we were discussing the sad news while people were coming in for the noon services.

Picture 088

Everyone was joyful once they arrive but soon joy of life quickly turned to eyes of tears.

One individual shouted- THERE’S NO JUSTICE!!!

I heard that one woman cried all day long.

The news shook L’Eglise Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas very hard.

Misc 137

Myself, I didn’t feel good. It was a very long and sad walk from the top of the hill to my place.

I took the news very hard and it makes a person asking themselves- Why??? Why??? Why???

Of course many family members would ask themselves the same question if they lose a young child.

As Father Brien always told me - It’s not for us to understand now but we will truly understand later.

I made a little oath to myself.

I said that I will try not to lose my temper in public. If I get angry? I will used it in this blog.

If I get mad? I’ll think of the Father Thivierge.

I located his picture in a newspaper and I got it laminated and put it in my wallet.

I will carry that picture with me till the end of times.

He was in this world for such a short period and his death will not be in vain.

I took the news so serious that a few days later? I bumped into Bernard Lord.

You can read the blg at target="_blank">Charles
Blog

This is the issue that I was talking with the Premier about. I was telling him to keep his ears open and maybe he can send a letter to his family in Quebec?

When the three amigos Jody, Jack Carr and Trevor Holder stop the Van to interrupt into our conversation? If they would have known the issue we were talking about? They would have kept on trucking.

The Premier never once return his emails in 6 years so maybe if someone reads this from the Premier’s office?

They can let him know about the news. If not? I guess that I have to go at the Centennial Building to call them myself.

Yes, it is indeed a very sad day for the French Catholic population in the Capital and Gagetown.

As Father Brien told me - I was looking at him as the future rising star. Father Brien’s days as a Priest are maybe numbered < I pray every day that he stays for many years to come >

Father Brien truly believe that young ordained Priests such as Father Thivierge are ready to take over the helm but sometime it doesn’t happen that way?

Why did God take this individual away from us?

An individual who dedicated his short life to God? Sure makes a person wonder?

Myself? I’m 46 years old and I had quite a life. I met some very
interesting individual but I will never forget Father Daniel Thivierge.

May God Bless his soul and my deepest sympathy goes out to his family in La Belle Province.

This is a email from Father Brien. He sent me this note weeks ago!

I find it fitting that I should use God's minute in this blog. I haven't used them in a few days!

CAUSE ME TO HEAR YOUR LOVING KINDNESS IN THE
MORNING, FOR IN YOU I DO TRUST; CAUSE ME TO KNOW
THE WAY IN WHICH I SHOULD WALK, FOR I LIFT UP MY
SOUL TO YOU.
( PSALM 143:8 *NKJV )

Dear Charles,
As you may know, when we invite God into our life, and
ask HIM to take control of our "life and will," we start on the
journey to become the person that we were meant to be.
For it is written; IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW
CREATION; OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD,
ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW.
( 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-18 )

This is because God begins to reshape us into that person.
It is written; BUT NOW, O LORD, YOU ARE OUR FATHER;
WE ARE THE CLAY, AND YOU OUR POTTER; AND ALL
WE ARE THE WORK OF YOUR HAND. ( ISAIAH 64:8 )

Chuck

Now as we become that new person, God will lead us
to the path that He chosen for us to walk. It is then that we
become filled with the Holy Spirit, as well as, THE FRUIT
OF THE SPIRIT WHICH IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE,
KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS,
AND SELF-CONTROL. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE
IS NO LAW. ( GALATIANS 5:22-23 )

So Charles, why not ask God to take control of your "life
and will" today, if you haven't already? Also say to Him;
SHOW ME YOUR WAYS, O LORD; TEACH ME YOUR
PATHS. LEAD ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME,
FOR YOU ARE THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. Amen.
( PSALM 25:4-5 )

Now Charles, have a wonderful weekend, and remember
that God loves you, and so do I!

With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen

A GENTLE ANSWER TURNS AWAY WRATH, BUT A
HARSH WORD STIRS UP ANGER.
( PROVERBS 15:1* NIV )

Dear Charles,
We all become angry sometimes with the words or
actions of another. When we do it is important that we
do not respond to them with words of anger. For it is
written; HE WHO GUARDS HIS MOUTH AND HIS
TONGUE KEEPS HIMSELF FROM CALAMITY, and oh
how true that is indeed! ( PROVERBS 21:23 )

The Apostle Paul wrote;
DO NOT LET ANY UNWHOLESOME TALK COME OUT
OF YOUR MOUTHS, BUT ONLY WHAT IS HELPFUL
FOR BUILDING OTHERS UP ACCORDING TO THEIR
NEEDS, THAT IT MAY BENEFIT THOSE WHO LISTEN.
( EPHESIANS 4:29 ) Further, James the half brother of
Jesus' wrote; OUT OF THE SAME MOUTH COME PRAISE
AND CURSING. MY BROTHERS, THIS SHOULD NOT BE.
( JAMES 3:10 )

After all; PLEASANT WORDS ARE A HONEYCOMB,
SWEET TO THE SOUL AND HEALING TO THE BONES.
( PROVERBS 16:24 ) So Charles, keep your words
soft, sweet and pleasing to our Heavenly Father. After
all He hears every word that we say!

So just as King David did, remember these words when
someone angers you. Then next time before your anger
can take control, recite them in your mind. "MAY THE
WORDS OF MY MOUTH AND THE MEDITATION OF MY
HEART BE PLEASING IN YOUR SIGHT, O LORD, MY
ROCK AND MY REDEEMER. Amen. ( PSALM 19:14 )

And Jesus said; "DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED
TRUST IN GOD; TRUST ALSO IN ME."
( JOHN 14:1 *NIV )

Dear Charles,
When troubles come into your life, turn them over to God to
handle, for it is written; THE LORD ALSO WILL BE A
REFUGE FOR THE OPPRESSED, A REFUGE IN TIMES
OF TROUBLE. AND THOSE WHO KNOW YOUR NAME
WILL PUT THEIR TRUST IN YOU, FOR YOU, LORD HAVE
NOT FORSAKEN THOSE WHO SEEK YOU.
( PSALM 9:9-10 )

After all; THE SALVATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS IS FROM
THE LORD; HE IS THEIR STRENGTH IN THE TIME OF
TROUBLE. AND THE LORD SHALL HELP THEM AND
DELIVER THEM; HE SHALL DELIVER THEM FROM THE
WICKED , AND SAVE THEM, BECAUSE THEY TRUST IN
HIM. ( PSALM 37:39-40 )

King David experienced this for he wrote, THOUGH I WALK
IN THE MIDST OF TROUBLE, YOU WILL REVIVE ME;
YOU WILL STRETCH OUT YOUR HAND AGAINST THE
WRATH OF MY ENEMIES, AND YOUR RIGHT HAND WILL
SAVE ME. ( PSALM 138:7 )

So even when; WE ARE HARD PRESSED ON EVERY SIDE,
YET NOT CRUSHED; WE ARE PERPLEXED, BUT NOT IN
DESPAIR; PERSECUTED, BUT NOT FORSAKEN; STRUCK
DOWN BUT NOT DESTROYED. When we trust the Lord with all
our heart. ( 2 CORINTHIANS 4:7-9 )

SO DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR CONFIDENCE; IT WILL
BE RICHLY REWARDED. YOU NEED TO PERSEVERE SO
THAT WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YOU WILL
RECEIVE WHAT HE HAS PROMISED. Amen.
( HEBREWS 10:35-36 )

Now have a wonderful day Charles, and may God Bless You!

With My Love & Prayers,
Pastor Allen

Slide108
Chuck
Slide70It’s late in the evening and I feel that I must write of today’s experience at the services of Father Daniel Thivierge.

Father1
father2

I was honoured when Father Brien asked me if I wanted to attend the Military service in Gagetown.

Picture 093

I believe that we were going to attend a ceremony in a large building and some kind of parade was going to honour the former Priest?

I was wrong.

It was located in this little Church.

Picture 030

The Priest had to be there one hour before the start of the service so therefore I had lots of time on my hand.

I noticed over 10 people from L’Eglise-Des-Pays-Bas attending the service to pay their respect to Pere Daniel Thivierge.

Picture 045

Soliders began to show up in great numbers.

This guy turned everyone heads because he look exactly like his brother Daniel.

Picture 040

It was his brother Steve.

Once the service began, I was told that the Parents sat up front and they looked happy of the way their son was being honoured.

I must admit that it was very difficult to watch the tribute because there wasn’t a dry eye in the whole building.

I had a very hard time to hold my emotion because the people around me all had tears in their eyes.

It was sad.

What really got me going was the song – Amazing Grace!

Picture 067

It does it to me all the time and I did warn Father Brien while they were practicing.

It was a fine tribute to his son.

Before the group played their song.

A soldier played the last post.

Picture 065

Two sad songs in one shot.

A little too much for many in attendance to accept. It was very emotional and when it was over?

During the service, Daniel's Father Michel jumped up and sang a song with the style of his son Daniel.

Picture 109

From what I’m told, I guess that the former Priest used to sing the
song Amen while dancing a little step.

I told Father Brien that this was the best one hour and 45 minutes I ever spent.

I was told that the funeral of Daniel Thivierge held in Quebec was attended by over 500 people and this was during a heavy snow storm. He was liked by many.

It was a fine tribute to a fine young man.

The service was far from over because everyone was lined up to shake the proud family members hand.

Picture 107

I expected the handshakes to take place at the reception area but once again I was wrong.

Myself, I was in the back so therefore I was the first individual they met.

I shook Daniel’s brother hand and gave him my sympathy and told him that I had his brother on my website.

He quickly told me that he has heard about me and the story of his brother on my blog.

Hey? Word travels fast especially with the information Highway.

After the service was over, we all gathered at the reception.

Before entering, I asked to take a picture of the Family and they gladly oblige but before this picture was taken?

Picture 110

I heard a very interesting story.

I told his brother that I protested in a tent in front of the Legislature for a six month period.

Steve told me that the system wanted him and his brother to be on Ritalin but the parent refuse.

I told Father Brien before taking the picture that the system wanted the two brothers on Ritalin?

The Father quickly turned angry once he heard the word-
Ritalin!!!!

I quickly dropped the issue but on a one on one, I asked his brother to tell his Father about my battle.

We weren’t there to discuss the issue of Ritalin.

We were there to honour Daniel Thivierge.

Later on in the day, I told this story to someone who supports
Ritalin.

I said - If it wasn’t for the Parents? Daniel Thivierge would have
been forced on Ritalin therefore never becoming a Priest!

The guy quickly answered – Maybe he would have became a Pope if he would have been on Ritalin???

I found that line funny!

But seriously? It just goes to show you and if you drugged a child at a young age?

That individual is done for life!

Ok..funny how this blog change into a Ritalin issue???

We stayed at the reception for 45 minutes and had a good time.

Father Brien dropped me off and he told me that the family is suppose to attend the service in the morning.

Morning came and sure enough the whole Thivierge Family showed up and were met by Father Brien.

Picture 017

They must have said - Oh My God? There’s the guy with the camera again????...lol

I don’t believe they know why I take all these pictures?

I know that I will make a final blog to honour their dead son.

Once they arrive back to Quebec? They could always print this blog for a souvenir.

I had a chat with Steven < their son > He turned a lot of heads. Many in the Church felt that a miracle just happen because he looks just like his brother.

Picture 019

I asked the young guy if the Family has received a note from the Premier’s office?

Steven told me that they didn’t but then again? It’s been so hectic that maybe they didn’t notice. I hope the staff from the Premier’s office didn’t ignore my request to send a message to the family in Quebec?

I’ll find out what’s going on?

They seated in the middle of the Church and afterwards they told the
Priest that they truly enjoyed the service and away they went.

Picture 029

Father Brien spoke very highly of Daniel.

Picture 028

Once again, my deepest sympathy to the whole Thivierge Family and I hope they find the courage and determination to continue with their lives?

Yes, it’s the end of a great tribute to Father Thivierge, He will be truly missed.

Lets pray that the family can move on to greater events in their lives knowing that their son Daniel will be missed by many and he’s in a better world.

God Bless

I find it fitting to paste GOD'S MINUTE in this blog.

MAN DOES NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE; BUT MAN LIVES BY
EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE
LORD.
( DEUTERONOMY 8:3 *NKJV )

Dear Charles,
Just as we need bread to feed our human bodies, we need
the Word of God to feed our spiritual bodies as well.

Now it is written that Jesus Christ is the Word of God! For;
THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US, AND
WE BEHELD HIS GLORY, THE GLORY AS OF THE ONLY
BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH.
( JOHN 1:14 )

It is also written that; JESUS SAID, "WHOEVER DRINKS
THIS WATER WILL THIRST AGAIN, BUT WHOEVER DRINKS
OF THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL NEVER
THIRST. BUT THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL
BECOME A FOUNTAIN OF WATER SPRINGING UP UNTO
EVERLASTING LIFE. ( JOHN 4:13-14 )

So Charles, always keep your eyes on our Savoir Jesus
Christ. Always remembering that; JESUS SAID; "I AM THE
BREAD OF LIFE. HE WHO COMES TO ME SHALL NEVER
HUNGER, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER
THIRST." ( JOHN 6:35 )

Now it is my hope that these messages provide your
Spiritual Body with a good breakfast each morning! If so, I
have accomplished the mission that God gave me to do.
Amen.

your servant Allen

SPIRITUAL LIVING
Prayer and Devotions

Behold the Lamb of God!
by Father Walter Schu, LC

Resolution: Ask the Holy Spirit to help you openly bear witness to Christ during the day.

January 20, 2008
Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

John 1:29-34
The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him and declared, "Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is he of whom I said, 'After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me because he was before me.' I myself did not know him; but I came baptizing with water for this reason, that he might be revealed to Israel." And John testified, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.' And I myself have seen and have testified that this is the Son of God."

Introductory Prayer:Jesus, thank you for this opportunity to be with you, my Lord and my God. You always seek me first. Even my desire to encounter you is a fruit of your love for me, of the action of your grace in my heart.

Petition:Lord, help me to be a witness to you with the same courage, humility, and openness to the Holy Spirit as John the Baptist.

1. John “Saw Jesus Coming Toward Him.” Jesus is always coming toward us, too. Why? Because he loves us. He never imposes himself. He doesn’t burst through the door and force us to accept him or even acknowledge him. But he does remain close, hoping we will catch a glimpse of his love and, in that instant, recognize that he is everything our hearts long for. What will happen if we open the door of our life, of our heart, to Christ? He will call us to abandon the tight confines of our egotism, greed, lust, envy, and selfishness. He will open undreamed-of horizons and give a rich, new dimension to our poor, fleeting days on this earth. He will bestow on us a transcendent mission: to testify to him not only with our words, but with everything that we are.

2. John Testifies to “the Lamb of God.” As John the Baptist sees Jesus coming toward him, he proclaims: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John’s title for Jesus is rich in meaning. Fifteen hundred years before Christ, during the exile in Egypt, the blood of the paschal lamb spread on the Israelites’ doorposts saved their families from the angel of death, who slaughtered the first-born of the Egyptians. As a result, Moses was able to lead the chosen people to the Promised Land. Christ is the true Lamb of God who offers himself in sacrifice to take away our sins and to open to us the Promised Land of heaven. John’s testimony requires humility: His own disciples leave him to follow Jesus. Do I strive for this same humility? Do I put my testimony to Jesus above my own self-interest?

3. John Recognizes Jesus Through the Holy Spirit. John’s testimony was so convincing that many of his own disciples became followers of Jesus. Yet John himself claimed that at first he did not know Jesus. What did he mean by this enigmatic phrase? As Jesus’ relative, John certainly knew who he was; however, the precise moment in which Jesus was to begin his Messianic mission remained unknown to John. It was only through the action of the Holy Spirit that John fully recognized Jesus as the Chosen One of God, who was now to be revealed to God’s chosen people. The Holy Spirit seeks to work with the same power in our own lives. What attachments to worldly interests still distract me from the Holy Spirit’s action? What fears still hold me back from letting him do with me whatever he pleases? Do I fully trust in him who is love itself?

Conversation with Christ: Thank you for always coming toward me, Lord. Thank you for your love for me. At times I don’t know what you see in me, Lord, but even in my weakness and sinfulness I want to return love with love. Through the gift of the Holy Spirit, help my love for you to be bold and ardent.

Resolution: I will ask the Holy Spirit to help me openly bear witness to Christ during the day

MES PRIERES VONT A LA FAMILLE DE DANIEL THIVIERGE PENDANT CETTE TRISTE JOURNEE!!!

He was a nic e guy and is truly missed!!!!
