Rick Brewer is a Liberal MLA from theSouthwest Miramichi.
I first met the guy during my six months protest and I found the guy very down to earth.
He would always give a comment on an update < later blog > I sent out on the information highway.
I truly believe he would do a lot of work for the people in his riding if the Liberals went in power.
I will be very interested in the final results on election night.
His main opponent is no other than my bigot buddy Irving columnist Brent Taylor.
I don’t make it a habit in mentioning the rivals in the blogs about our New Brunswick MLA’s but being a proud Acadian?
I’ll make an exception in this case.
He's a real down to earth guy.
If the citizens in that riding wish to have a high class dude to represent them in the New brunswick legislature?
Vote for Brent Taylor!!!!
If I was living in that riding? I would say - GO RICK GO!!!!
WHY WOULD QUEBECOIS SARGEANT AT ARMS DAN BUSSIERES POST HIS PICTURE ON TOP OF OTHER NEW BRUNSWICKERS???
Is this just another way to degrade New brunswickers?
As for Ritalin? There must be a study done on the way our kids are being drugged and killed by the system!!!
I might add that 10,000 people signed my petition.
OverBoard With Mr.Lord!!
Overboard went Mr.Lord Into the river of shame.
And as he went down,he said with a frown
I have nobody else to blame
As the people they spoke My ministers I woke
Saying deal with these problems at hand
Putting them on the spot so I wouldn't get caught
For my plans that they don't understand
For I fooled all the voters on elections that day
Into thinking I’m the man for the job
They had no idea the price they would pay
Nor did I in creating a mob
I thought I could fool them into thinking I might
Be the premier of choice that would put up their fight
But instead I destroyed everything that I touch
Now the voters are saying they suspected as much
So they yell and they scream that they don't have to live
With a man such as me a ( Con-ser-va-tive)
And if truth should be told then I probably would
Agree with the people that I misunderstood
Reflecting back now with no choice I digress
My legacy, job and my life in a mess
And the rumor I’m hearing I suppose that it's true
Back in with the red and out the blue...
Be it Liberals or Tories, the people will choose
And with your new powers you must never abuse
For it turns out the people hold power of blame
So take care not to join me in this river of shame!
Brewer steps down ... to the sidewalk
N.B. legislature can't be campaign stop, NDP leader told

NDP Leader Allison Brewer was turned away from the steps of the New Brunswick legislature Monday when she tried to hold a news conference about respect for the house.
Turns out there are rules against election campaigning on the grounds of the legislative assembly.
NDP Leader Allison Brewer was asked to move her campaign news conference from the steps of the legislature.
Brewer's campaign staff set up the conference, complete with campaign posters and a podium. But before Brewer could get started, the legislature commissionaire asked them to move to the sidewalk.
Lyndsey Gallant, provincial secretary for the NDP, said she didn't know about the rule but she added the mistake didn't constitute a bad beginning for the party's election campaign.
"I think everything went as planned and as scheduled," she said. "There was just a little problem there, but I don't think it was a big deal as far as we were concerned."
The theme of Brewer's conference was accountability and respect for the legislature. Brewer said the Conservatives and Liberals turned the legislative body into a "circus" during the last session.
"We will bring back to the legislature leadership, balance and accountability," said Brewer. "We will work every day to respect the legislature and the hopes and dreams of all New Brunswickers."
Denis Landry a Liberal Mla from Le Centre-Péninsule,will surely be re-elected.
Denis was one of my closest supporters during my six months protest.
I always joke that he has the biggest and strongest hand of all the MLA’S in the Legislature.
Denis is very honest.and has a very good heart for the poor people < Not tto many politicians can hold that title >
Denis has always been good to me and I really like the guy. He’ll win his riding no problem whatsoever!!! He’s a very good person!!!
Every instance I chatted with him, he woukl always gave me an honest answer.
He had a difficult time with some problems with some family issues but he ended up pretty good in the eyes of the public.
He’s very close to the Premier so could that help him or hurt him on election day?
I believe he’ll be re-elected!!!
The reason I call the Liberal MLA ithe Michael Jackson is because of the way he dresses.
I often told the guy that he must have ADHD because he loves to be the center of attention by the fancy colorful suits he wears.
I saw the MLA speak in the Legislature with great emotion of the way the Government shut down their hospital and other issues.
He’s a great speaker for the Acadian population and he will be re-elected as a Liiberal MLA!!!
I remember on one occasion, I wrote about a pregnant woman staying on the streets. He came to me in the Legislature and wanted to meet the poor girl.
At the end, we found out that she wasn’t truly pregnant but Roy step forward to help.
He always dresses sharply and he has an open mind on issues. I say that he will get re-elected as a Liberal MLA!!!
