This long weekend was a very bad one for a couple of people.
I learned this evening that Jocelyn had surgery on her toe.
I guess she had a bad accident on a sidewalk.
She’ll be out for 6 weeks. I also learned that a guy in his 40s broke his neck last evening after a car accident and he’s paralyze from the next down.
The guy had long hair and always rode his bike around the City.
He lives in a rooming house on Regent street. Yes, the old saying is so true.
If he or she has their health?
They should complain!!!
My prayers to both of them.

GOOD HEARTED GIRL AND A GUY HAD AN AWFUL LONG WEEKEND.
CHARLES TO BE ON LIVE TALK SHOW AT CKTP 95.7FM TUESDAY AFTERNOON AT 3:00PM WITH BRUCE HUGHES!!!
The guy called me last week to be on his show. I was too busy to go on the air. Bruce sounds very staright forward and pleasant.
Two talk shows in two weeks. The word is spreading around.
It should be a lot of fun.
I might add that the station is located in the Saint Mary's Indian Reservation.
Maybe they'll tape the show so I can add it to this blog site. Stay tune!!!
Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital has its problems.
Charles,
I must tell you about my experience at the hospital on Friday
night.
For the past few days I have had discomfort in my groin area, I
guess you would call it a dull pain, also neck pain and my legs have been very weak where I can't stand up. I have the feeling like I'm going to fall all the time.
In the past I have had problems with my blood, I develop
blood clots very easily. I was concerned about the way I was feeling so I called the hospital, they told me that someone would call me back in twenty to thirty minutes.
They called back within ten minutes, they were very kind to me and took all my information, because of my history the nurse told me
not to go to the walk in clinic just go right to the hospital. I took her
advice and went to the hospital, I was very worried that I might have blood clots.
I arrived at the hospital at 7:00 pm. gave them all the information on
myself and was told to wait in the waiting room and I would be called.
There were only four people waiting to to be seen by a doctor, I
thought I wouldn't be there very long. I sat there waiting and waiting, people were coming in and going out. I never got called in till 1:30 am. they put me in a room and told me to get undressed and put the gown on.
The nurse came in and took my blood pressure and my temperature. I waited again.
I never saw the doctor till 3:00 am. He said he was going to take some blood and check it out. He made me walk on my tippy toes, on my heels and walk toe to toe across the room. I guess to check my balance.
At 3:30 am. a nurse came in to take four viles of blood from me.
Again I waited, the doctor finally came back at 8:00 am. he told me I had no blood clots and he thought it was my thyroid gland but some of the testing wouldn't be back for a few more days, he told me to get in touch with my own doctor to find out the rest of the results. He then told me I could go home.
The thing is I sat there all that time worried about having blood clots, and if I had one I think I could have had a stroke or died just sitting there waiting for so long.
They should have more doctors on duty at the hospital and more walk in clinics here.
DURING THESE LAST 6 MONTHS, THIS WAS THE MEALS OF CHOICE FOR MANY POOR FAMILIES AROUND NEW BRUNSWICK!!
Sardines has been the food of choice for many poor families.
I guess the company made a boo boo so they donated over 20,000 cans to the food banks.

BRENT TAYLOR BIGOT IRVING COLUNMIST RECEIVES A LETTER TO THE EDITOR FROM A BLOGGER!!!!
I feel that I have no other choice but to reply to Brent’s Taylor views , June 29, 2006 - Bloggers can take their messages too far
I must admit that I never read brent’s column. I am not interested in his views especially being a former member of the C.O.R. Party. His column was bought to my attention by a reader of my blog.
I am very glad Mr.Taylor shared his views on my situation because he sure knows something that I don’t.
He wrote - Legitimate bloggers are fighting, and winning battles over their accreditation as true journalists.
I do call myself a legitimate blogger because I’m the man on the streets talking to poor people and I did bring a lot of issues to all MLA’s such as roomers Boarding rights.
He claims that I was harassing employees at their workplace.
I also learned that many unionized employees went on stress leave for the summer months because of my attitude? Absolutely not once have I have been approached by the staff to stop harassing people.
He wrote - There is no point in any of them suing this blogger,
I got a question for Mr.Taylor? How can a person be sued for speaking the truth? My blogs are always written with a true message..
Despite the kooks, blogging has become increasingly mainstream.
I take exception to be call - A Kook. I would rather be called a Kook than being a Bigot from the C.O.R. Party any day.
As an Acadian, I remember Brent’s very anti-French speech while running for the leadership in 1992. This is one reason that I don’t read his column.
I might add that Brent is no legitimate Blogger. I just check Brent’s blog. His last update was in February. He sure isn’t a blogger.
The Fredericton blogger banned from the legislature would not even come close to meeting the standards set forth by the MBA.
What standards would be acceptable to Mr.Taylor? Attend a journalist course at Saint Thomas where the Irvings gave one million dollars to train their future employees?
A blogger is the columnist, the editor and the owner. A blogger reports the news but with an opinion.
Down the States, bloggers are treated with great respect.
Mind you, is you get a blogger upset?
Look out!!!!
Because their views goes on the information highway in minutes. I had over 100,000 visitors to my site so therefore I can’t be truly a kook.
Brent wrote The application was not approved, and rightly so.
Maybe Brent believes that since the Irvings owns all the major newspapers in New brunswick. Only Irving employees can apply as Bloggers?
Former C.O.R. MLA’S had a bad habit of speaking out before thinking and true was the case with this one - For instance, union representative Tom Mann wrote this newspaper last week defending the blogger's banishment, and was promptly termed a "bigot."
Now? If I wasn’t a legitimate Blogger? Why would Brent visit my blog? Very good question indeed?
One thing is certain. I might be banned for life from the Legislature but I will continue to blog away my views on political issues.
I may not be there to asked MLA'S questions on the issues of day so therefore I will asks them in my blog.
Bloggling is the journalist way of the future. Weather you like it or not! Bloggers will be around till the end of time.
