i think that i would have got a fine for being on the walking trail with a horse you should have seen the look on barnard lord when i galloped past him and his wife shortly after i left you
I think that its safer for me to ride in the citie with all the citie people running through the woods disguised as pumpkins armed with high powered fifles .
October is the nicest time of the year to be in the woods .kids from the country should go to town and play hockey .
I wouldnt let my kids in the woods at this time of the year go.
Keep on blogging Charlie.
Hmmmm?? Which reminds moi?? Is Global News ever going to cover the issue of Blogging???
This is one issue that I never blog about and I must take the time to write about this important issue.
You often hear the word- Bullying!!!!
Everyone believes it begins in the classrooms and ends up in the hallways of our schools or on the playgrounds.
Well? I got news for ya!!!
The school bus is the worst place for bullying and TRUST ME!!!! I got the past experiences to prove it.
Anyone who knows me for a long time truly knows that I had my share of fistfights at Schools.
They would confront me and thank God that I had the seize to fight back.
Lets not forget that I had ADHD < No one knew about it in those days >
After a fight, I would feel so relax. All that hypertension was all gone. I might add that being half Scottish didn’t help the situation....lol
You could punch a Scotsman in the head and they would just look at you with a smile.
Ok..never mind that....
I remember the ride in the school bus was my worst nightmare.
I sat in the back and a couple of weeks later, I would be ordered to sit up front so the bus driver could keep an eye on me.
I would have fights after fights. Every year, I would end up sitting up front.
But it would not solve the problem in hand because word of mouth is worst than a physical confrontation.
The kids would shout names and I would asked the bus driver if he heard what they said?
Then I would label as a RAT!!!
The part that drove me nuts is that I felt degraded to sit in front of the bus.
What a way to start my day and I wasn't even in my classroom yet???
I never like to sit down in front of the class or the bus. It was very difficult mentally wise!!!
It’s like the cartoon of the Flintstones?
Remember the time Fred applied for a job as a bus driver? He walked in a coffee and slam the door. The bus drivers jumped off their stool....lol...
All the bus drivers nerves were shot!!!
The driver has to concentrate on the road and also has to act like a referee.
I understand we don’t have the extra money but there should be an assistant in a trouble bus.
These kids are cruel and I know of one case in today’s world that the ride to school is a true nightmare.
I truly understand the kid anguish because I went through the same situation 30 years ago!!!
Sounds like the situation has not change much after all these years!!!!
I would like to be in court with you Nov.2th as to see what take place as when I went to court march 7/2005 what was to take place was all ready stage from the start of February 12/1997 how they all ready knew the out come.
So I hope that they don't all ready have your out come all ready set.
Like they did in my case.
They know i will have to give up soon as it cost a lot of money to keep on fighting for the right to be use wright in the court.
In front of a Judge.

I heard from a good source that the Irvings did play a huge role in cancelling CFBC Talk of The Town!
The story is this -
The advertisers were afraid to promote their company on CFBC because they would be blacklisted by the Irvings.
I heard of this blacklist in the past and it’s very very very sad!!!
Many families were force to leave New Brunswick because their Daddy was on the infamous blacklist!!!
Saint Johners are in the dark and it’s a darn shame.
Jamie Irving will not print critical letters of the Irvings so therefore freedom of speech is truly dead in Saint John.
What can a person do? The avenue is blogging and the Irvings are looking to eliminate this procedure.
Talk of the Town is truly miss and there’s nothing the citizens can do.
He told the television audience that if the U.S. sayd drugging our kids at the age of three is ok? Then it should be safe!!!
What a Jerk!!!
tudy: Giving ADHD drugs to preschoolers ok
Tuesday, October 24, 2006
BALTIMORE — A new study by the top medical university in the U.S. has concluded that carefully measured, low doses of methylphenidate, the key ingredient in drugs used to treat attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder, is safe and effective for treating behavioural problems in preschoolers -- a departure from FDA regulations preventing its prescription to children younger than six.
Researchers warned, however, that the three- to five-year-olds tested appeared more sensitive (than older children with attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder) to the drug's side effects, which include irritability, insomnia and weight loss, and require closer monitoring.
Researchers also found that children who took the drug also experienced somewhat slower growth rates: On average, children who were administered methylphenidate grew half-an-inch per year less than expected and gained 2.9 pounds less than expected.
Those involved in the study, which involved five other medical centres, noted that pediatricians weighed the risks of stunted growth rates against the benefits of having the treatment. The study emphasized that children on long-term treatment with methylphenidate should be monitored carefully several times a year to assess growth changes over time.
Methylphenidate is the most widely prescribed drug for the treatment of ADHD in children but is not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in children younger than six.
Results of the federally funded research, the first large-scale, long-term study of the safety and value of the drug in younger children, will appear in a special section of the November issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
"These results give us the missing links in the decision to prescribe a drug that's been widely used off-label in preschool-age children," said Dr. Mark Riddle, director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Children's Center and a co-author on the study, which followed 303 children between the ages of 3 and 5 over 70 weeks.
"We were able to confirm what many already suspected-that even lower doses in preschoolers can safely achieve the desired therapeutic effect and indeed that low doses are often optimal."
About 11 per cent of those enrolled in the study experienced side effects severe enough to drop out. These included weight loss, anxiety, skin picking, mood disturbances and insomnia.
ADHD is characterized by a wide range of symptoms, including inability to concentrate, being easily distracted, fidgeting and restlessness, among others. Left untreated, ADHD can interfere with academic progress and social and emotional development.
More than 4.4 million children in the United States have ADHD, according to estimates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About two per cent of preschool-aged children are believed to have ADHD.
In Canada, the condition affects about four per cent of the population, or roughly 1.3 million Canadians.
SAINT JOHN POLICE FORCE - MR IRVING??? WE NABBED ANOTHER BLOGGER!!! WHAT DO YOU WISH US TO DO??? SHOOT HIM????
Blogging in New Brunswick will be decided on November 2th!!!
I used to write - The Irvings
Bingo!! My blog site would show up.
But no more....I wonder what happen there?
I really don’t care but it’s bad enough the Irvings control the media and stop the citizens of New Brunswick from writing letters to the Editor but now this?
I guess that we’re dealing with very powerful people.
If the court decides that since the Irvings owns all the newspapers in New Brunswick? Only Irving’s employees will be allowed to take pictures.
Lets go back to last week in Saint John.
A huge accident happen in Saint John South and Tim Smith quickly arrive on the scene with his camera.
Also there was Noel Chenier < very nice guy > from the Irving newspaper.
Now? Tim as a joke told Noel - It’s ok...I’m here!! You can go now....The pictures will be on the information Highway in minutes.
Now? If the courts decides that only Irving’s employees can take pictures?
The Saint John Police Force would arrest everyone in the area with a cell phone < video camera > or bloggers taking pictures.
As in Fredericton in June during the peaceful protest? They would insist that you carry Irving Identification and if you don’t have one?
You will be force on the ground and arrested.
Being poor? You won’t have the right to New Brunswick Legal Aid therefore end up in Jail!!!
This is what at stake here!!!
Democracy as we know it!!!
This is the reason I wanted a Judge and Jury but no can do!!
This will decide if New Brunswick will change into a Gestapo State!!!
The Irvings and bureaucrats must be working behind the scene on this one.
Everyone tells me that the Police always win in a Court room in Saint John but one thing is certain?
No matter what happens on November 2th? I will continue taking pictures and blog away!
Once the trial is over? I'm going after this Quebecois BIG TIME!!!!!
I have to make up for lost time....lol
A QUEBECOIS RUNNING THE PEOPLE'S HOUSE???? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!
Maybe they know something that I don't???
