I was a little upset that the opposition were talking away while the Minister spoke about this bill!
This is a very important bill for roomers and boarders.
I got a little problem with the bill but it's not a big problem but it could for many.
He said there's 20,000 roomers and boaders in this Province.
He mentioned these people will be protected by the Rentalman but to do so?
They have to give a damage deposit. I wonder how many people wouldn't be allowed to afford a damage deposit?
Percy needs to take his medication. He called Ed Doherty a Part Time MLA on many different occasions!!!
How many millions did Bernard Lord spent to get that seat?
Shawn Graham was furious!!!!
Who can blame him????
Yesterday was a very quiet day but I must write of my little experience with ATV News.
I left my place around noon and slowly made my way on my daily routine towards the Legislature.
Once I arrive at the Library at the People’s House. The female worker told me someone left a message for me?
I quickly replied - This just goes to show you what kind of a life I have eh?
This is not the first time this happens.
I’m certain that I’m the only private citizen in the whole Province that receives message at the Legislature….lol…
It was a message from Monica Verma of ATV News.
She told me that she’s doing a story on bloggers so she wishes to interview me.
I called her to set up a meeting at the Library for 1:00pm!
I walked in at exactly 1:00pm but she wasn’t there so I walked outside for a smoke.
While walking out? I passed between the two Quebec security staff and once I was done with my smoke these two individuals haven’t moved and I did the same action of just ignoring them.
Sure is a huge difference from one year ago when I would joke around and share stories with these people?
I would consider these Quebecers good friends of mine but ever since as the good ignorant Quebecers they are by stabbing me in the back???
You can read the story at < just click here-
Well, I don’t communicate with people that kind of evil attitude.
Did they truly believe that after they force the contractor to fire me that I would just walk towards the sunset and say - Ok....poor me????
Sorry!!!! Not going to happen in this lifetime!!!
Just ask the member of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission how long I can fight an issue?
These Quebecers goal is to get me evicted from the New Brunswickers House and I see the day that me and my bigot buddy protesting side by side in front of the Legislator. It would like having the KKK and the blacks united!!!!
We did it once in the summer in 2003 and we could do it again.
All they have to do is leave me along and everything will be ok at the Legislature.
Ok…never mind the Quebecers!
Going back to the interview?
Monica showed up and we began the story.
Poor Monica??? She soon found out that it wasn’t an easy task to interview a Blogger.
I was taking pictures before the media session began!
Afterwards? As I did with Jacques Poitras from CBC…..
I told her that we chatted for 10 minutes and she’s only going to use a couple of seconds.
Now? If she makes me look bad during those few seconds? I’ll blogged her for over one year!!!!
Blackmail??? You bet!!!...lol
You don’t wish to get a blogger upset with ya???...lol…
My god? How times have change eh????
The story appeared on Live at Five and it was good.
They interviewed other individuals also.
At the end of the interview, Monica told the audience that there are indeed privileges to be a blogger.
Charles LeBlanc blogged a story that his camera broke down and someone sent him a new camera and said - Keep on the good work!!!!
I noticed that evening the visitors to my site went up.
I had close to 350 visitors yesterday.
The people’s blog is going great!
This morning, I was told that the story was on CTV NEWS NET!!!!
All across Canada!!!!
Hey? Anyway to spread the word!
Thanks Monica for being fair on your story on bloggers!!!!!
Then again? It wasn't a letter against the Irvings!!!

ABEL LeBLANC AFFAIR
House enters realm of the unbelievable
Saint John Liberal MLA Abel LeBlanc is being accused of breaking privilege and "his comments have undermined this venerable institution and the work we perform" said Government House Leader Beverly Harrison, and is asking they be investigated by the legislature's standing committee on privileges.
Is there any person within earshot, who can believe or understand why there are political perks and privileges?
And that there is a standing committee with untold powers already in place to ensure these perks and privileges are never violated and always upheld? Unbelievable, I must say.
And most importantly, sending that committee forth to exercise its only function, in this case to investigate a complete truth, one must wonder how the words spoken by Abel LeBlanc - and believed by almost every informed citizen of New Brunswick - could ever be made to appear untrue?
Again, I must say "unbelievable"
MLA has a right to voice opinion
This letter is in support of Abel Leblanc (MLA - Saint John). I just want to take this opportunity to say what a wonderful human being he is. Not only is he honest and sincere, he has a genuine humanity for his people.
I think his voicing his opinion was in accordance to our Canadian rights of freedom of speech, and I believe that he has a right to speak his mind on any issue that he sees of importance.
He is a good man who has done many things to help myself and my family, and I am in support of him 100 per cent. I really hope that all will be forgiven in this matter and that he will be able to move on with it with his chin up and his public's support.
And all the best to you Abel!
Action against MLA could spark revolt
I feel that I have no choice but to forward my views on the article about Abel LeBlanc's letter printed last week ("Tories want LeBlanc's comments investigated; Saint John Lancaster MLA could be in hot water over comments in letter to the editor" - Telegraph-Journal, April 7).
The article said jail was a possible option for Mr. LeBlanc because he wrote a letter about the appointment of Tanker Mallley as Speaker of the New Brunswick House of Assembly.
People in Saint John haven't witnessed a MLA like Abel LeBlanc in decades. He speaks his mind on any issue, even if it's against his own party. This is Abel's style and 90 per cent of the citizens in the city respect him for it.
I'm not going to write about all the good deeds Abel has done for the citizens in the Saint John area during his lifetime because I would need the whole newspaper.
I would rank Abel close to the great, late Lou Murphy who was loved by many people also.
If by chance action is taken against Abel LeBlanc, if there was a chance that the citizens would revolt, this will surely be the case.
Keep up the good work of speaking out Abel.
All citizens around this province are watching this issue very closely!
I must admit that I never saw this coming? I must have a chat wit that boy when he gets back from Montreal?????...lol

Premier's absence covered by Branch
Independent MLA will travel with premier to Montreal, helping to protect the Tory minority
By Chris Morris
FREDERICTON - Premier Bernard Lord will take no chances with his tenuous government when he travels to Montreal to discuss the country's fiscal imbalance with other first ministers.
Mr. Lord revealed Monday that Independent MLA Frank Branch will accompany him to Montreal for the meetings today and Wednesday.
With Mr. Branch in tow, Mr. Lord's government should be able to survive any surprise votes in Fredericton.
The Conservative government is in a minority situation in the New Brunswick legislature and Opposition Liberals are anxious to force a spring election.
"We asked the Liberals to pair, but we never got an answer," Mr. Lord said. "Frank has agreed to come with us on the trip. That's the safest pairing we can have."
Mr. Lord said Mr. Branch, a Liberal supporter who is sitting as an Independent while he is under investigation for financial irregularities, isn't invited to the first ministers' meetings.
That raises the question of exactly what Mr. Branch will do while in Montreal.
"You'll have to ask him," Mr. Lord said after a long pause.
Mr. Branch will be in Quebec at the expense of N.B. taxpayers.
The premier said he is optimistic about fixing the fiscal imbalance because at least Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the new Conservative government agree it exists.
"The previous Liberal government would not even acknowledge that there is a fiscal imbalance," he said.
Poorer provinces like New Brunswick are struggling to maintain health and social programs while Ottawa posts record surpluses year after year.
Most provinces want the equalization program updated and more cash for federal transfers.
Mr. Lord said the federal Conservatives could increase funding for post-secondary education, which would directly help education and ease the imbalance.
Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty wants federal transfers increased to benefit all Canadians, not just those living in provinces that receive equalization payments.
Currently, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario pay into the equalization program, which distributes money to poorer provinces to help maintain national program standards.
HE WILL COMMAND HIS ANGELS CONCERNING YOU TO
GUARD YOU IN ALL YOUR WAYS.
( PSALM 91:10 *NIV )
You may take comfort in knowing that God is always
watching over us. He even sends us a guardian angel
when we need one! For there are many examples of this
written in the Scriptures. ( 1 KINGS 19:5; DANIEL 6:22;
MATTHEW 18:10; LUKE 16:22 & ACTS 12:7 )
After all it is also written of angels, THEY WILL LIFT YOU
UP IN THEIR HANDS, SO THAT YOU WILL NOT STRIKE
YOUR FOOT AGAINST A STONE. For; ARE NOT ALL
ANGELS MINISTERING SPIRITS SENT TO SERVE THOSE
WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION? ( PSALM 91:12 ) &
( HEBREWS 1:14 )
Therefore; HE WHO DWELLS IN THE SHELTER OF THE
MOST HIGH WILL REST IN THE SHADOW OF THE
ALMIGHTY. And; "BECAUSE HE LOVES ME," SAYS THE
LORD, "I WILL RESCUE HIM; I WILL PROTECT HIM, FOR
HE ACKNOWLEDGES MY NAME. HE WILL CALL UPON
ME, AND I WILL ANSWER HIM; I WILL BE WITH HIM IN
TROUBLE, I WILL DELIVER HIM AND HONOR HIM.
( PSALM 91:1 ) & ( PSALM 91:14-15 )
So Charles, again, take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly
Father is always watching over us, and ready to send us help
when ever we need it! Therefore; BLESSED BE THE LORD
GOD OF ISRAEL FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING!
AND LET ALL THE PEOPLE SAY, "AMEN!"
( PSALM 106:48 )
With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen
