Ten Speed Charlie ended my long ten speed trip in February, 1979 in California!!!

Originally uploaded by Oldmaison.
How time flies? In 1977, I rode a ten speed across Canada and the year before around the Martimes.

I had ADHD BIG TIME!!! But in those days nobody knew about it. It is truly amazing that I'm still alive.

I was lucky to have done a trip like this one because we get 80% of the news from the States. So, I been there and saw it with my own eyes.

My God? Racism was very bad!!!!

Where are these two girls located these days????

I’m going to make a little prediction in this blog.

The Irvings will wait till the heavy snow destroys the York Street train Station so they can write editorials to brainwash the public < We’re not allowed to write critical letters of the Irvings in their papers! >

Since the building is destroyed?

The City should grant the Irvings the land so they can build a huge industry in this little City.

This will be the end of clean air as we know it.

Maybe I’m a little far fetch in this one but who truly knows?

Mayor Brad Woodside is truly a man of his word.

After my little interview with Mayor Bard Woodside.

I mentioned to the Mayor about the sidewalk not being plowed between the Irving Gas station and the Soup Kitchen.

I reminded the Mayor we had the same problem last year.

Click below for a past blog.

The Mayor told me that he’ll look into it.

Sure enough, Bard Woodside came through for the poor.

The sidewalk were all clean.

He is truly a man of his word!

Merci Beaucoup Bard.

Windy and cold but the jogging continues!!!

Something about Sean O'shaughnessy maybe you didn't know about???

Originally uploaded by Oldmaison.
A couple of you goofballs always make fun of the guy. Maybe you should read this email I just receive.

Dear Mr. Leblac

I thank you Sir. Greatly appreciated and will also link to your well known site as well.

It was your site as a matter of fact that actually inspired myself to try and learn about blogging:

I think I may have told yourself in a past e-mail or so, or possibly on my site : My Dad and Sean O are friends { Brothers For Life }. They met in the worst set of circumstances in life so to speak.

They met and got to know one another in all honesty, while being held against their will, in a Prisoner Of War camp while serving years ago in South East Asia. They were caught in an NVA AMBUSH outside of the former American Air Base in Da Nang Vietnam.

Both my Dad and Sean were tortured Mr. Leblanc, to give up their Marine Corps Location. and thier Third Marine Corps troop strenght information. They never gave in and were both determined not to betray their fellow Marine Corps Borthers.

They were released a month and a half later after being freed by a special forces operation that was carried out, by a Unit known as Mac-V-Sog.

The above military unit can be found on the Internet under the serach title Mac V Sog.

Neither my Dad or Mr. O'Shaughnessy broke the faith Mr. Leblanc, or told the Enemy anything, nor betrayed their fellow Marines. Unfortunately Mr. O'shaughnessy bore the brunt of all, more so than my Dad, both Physically and Mentally, and he was only 18 years old at the time. My father was 21.

The NVA Senior Ranking Officer had a real hard on for Mr. O'shaughnessy, due to Sean telling the officer " why don't you just " Go Fuck Yourself - You Rice Head { a phrase I shall not repeat } " because I'm already dead in my opinion.

Mr. O'shaughnessy aka Sean was placed in a 14 foot hole in the ground by himself, with a Bamboo Wood Cage Locking Top Cover. And that was how and where the Mac-v-sog unit found him, with several of his finger nails missing. They were physically removed Sir by the enemy, while he was fully awake and conscious, and still kept telling the NVA Officer to go Fuck Himself.

While the enemy was busy torturing him, they were leaving my Father alone. In short, Mr. O'Shaughnessy kept my Dad alive. My dad was an NCO, while Sean was just a PFC Private First Class.

Mr. O'shaughnessy Mr. Leblanc always told me, you were and are right, whenever you post anything on you web site about the Country of China. China fed the Vietnamese with weapons and food.

Again Sir, Thanking you fo your help. Sorry to keep calling you Sir, it's just the way I raised [ as a sign of respect to all ].

Thank God for the Y.M.C.A. Outreach program in Fredericton!!!

A couple of days ago while going into my building. I had to wait 10 minutes so this guy could go down the stairway.

I don’t know the guy or didn’t even know he lived in a room in the building.

It’s so sad to see old poor people living in such conditions.

Yes, thank God for the Y.M.C.A. Outreach program who help the poor getting around the City.

Good work!!!

The old guy should be in a home but what can a person do?

Maybe these guys can take care of the major drug problem in New Brunswick????

Dear Charles,
Grandchildren are indeed the crown to their grandparents,
and Jesus loves little children as well, for they believe in
those they trust with all their hearts. They have an open minds
and are eager to learn and believe all that they can. Jesus
even told us that we adults should believe in Him with the
same childlike faith.( See MARK 10:13-15 )

So today we will take a look at some of the letters that
children have written to our Heavenly Father. Now I hope
that you will enjoy these as much as do.....

1. Dear God, please put another holiday between Christmas
and Easter. There is nothing good in there now. Amanda

2. Dear God, Thank you for the baby brother but what I asked
for was a puppy. I never asked for anything before.
You can look it up. Joyce

3. Dear Mr. God, I wish you would not make it so easy for people
to come apart. I had to have 3 stitches and a shot. Janet

4. God, I read the bible. What does beget mean? Nobody will tell
me. Love, Alison

5. Dear God, how did you know you were God? Who told you?

6. Dear God, is it true my father won't get in Heaven if he uses
his golf words in the house? Anita

7. Dear God, I bet it's very hard for you to love all of everybody
in the whole world. There are only 4 people in our family and I
can never do it. Nancy

8. Dear God, I like the story about Noah the best of all of them.
You really made up some good ones. I like walking on water,
too. Glenn

9. Dear God, my Grandpa says you were around when he was
a little boy. How far back do you go? Love, Dennis

10. Dear God, do you draw the lines around the countries? If
you don't, who does? Nathan

11. Dear God, did you mean for giraffes to look like that or was
it an accident? Norma

12. Dear God, in bible times, did they really talk that fancy?

13. Dear God, how come you did all those miracles in the old
days and don't do any now? Billy

14. Dear God, please send Dennis Clark to a different summer
camp this year. Peter

15. Dear God, maybe Cain and Abel would not kill each other so
much if they each had their own rooms. It works out OK with me
and my brother. Larry

16. Dear God, I keep waiting for spring, but it never did come
yet. What's up? Don't forget. Mark

17. Dear God, my brother told me about how you are born but it
just doesn't sound right. What do you say? Marsha

18. Dear God, if you watch in Church on Sunday I will show you
my new shoes. Barbara

19. Dear God, is Reverend Coe a friend of yours, or do you Just
know him through the business? Donny

20. Dear God, do not think anybody could be a better God than
you. Well, I just want you to know that. I am not just saying that
because you are already God. Charles

21. Dear God, it is great the way you always get the stars in the
right place. Why can't you do that with the moon? Jeff

22. Dear God, I am doing the best I can. Really. Frank

Now, saving the best for last:

23. Dear God, I didn't think orange went with purple until I saw
the sunset you made on Tuesday night. That was really cool.

With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen

Dear Mr. Leblanc,

I have never had the pleasure Mr. Leblanc to meet yourself or any of the other local bloggers.

My mom and Dad both knew and know Mr. Sean O'shaughnessy for a number of years noe. I think you know he is now doing video monitoring of Toronto Traffic reports via the internet as a Volunteer.

They recently told me, we haven't seen Sean so upbeat and happy in 16 years since he lost his radio profession. Toronto is where he was born and raised.

I asked him if I could take over his site, as my online profile will will and does explain in detail. Sean told me sure go and run with it ,: And He even gave me one of his computers so I could do the site : And he wouldn't allow me to pay him back for it over a period of time, and even wrote a legal note stating he had given me the computer 100% outright.

I'm trying to keep the format as close as possible to what he was doing.

I hope you'll find the content worth considering to be added to both of your sites. I'm in this for the long haul of things to be sure.

All the best of luck with all your future endeavours. And I thank you both for taking the time to read this.

Very Respectfully Sir's

My site is

For some reason or other I wasn't able to keep the same site location as Sean had.

Again many thanks.

Where is this woman located these days????

Agent Orange - Greg Thompson receives an email!!!

Originally uploaded by Oldmaison.
Below is a copy of an eamil sent to Veteran Affairs Minsiter Greg Thompson.

The incident is so typical in the handling of the "agent orange" issue.

For a goverment that prides itself on being transparent it is very restrictive with its information.

Again - the veteran is disrepected.

The Hon. Greg Thompson
Minister of Veteran Affairs

Dear Mr. Thompson

Today I called Veteran Affairs Canada (VAC)to determine the number of veterans who have received pensions because of the devastating harm caused by defoliant spraying at CFB Gagetown New Brunswick.

The VAC representative answering the phone did not have access to that information.

I thought that individual was mistaken so I called VAC's "1-800" number again thinking I would speak to another representative.

The second VAC representative claimed they did not have access to that information either.

The representatives were both professional and courteous. One representative gave me a phone number (1-800-883-6094) telling me that this was the number that military family and civilians "could call to apply for compensation."

I called the given number and was told that compensation for military family and civilians was not being considered.

It is obvious that your department is failing in communicating vital information to your staff.

It disturbs me that VAC encourages individuals to call VAC only to have those individuals misinformed or not informed at all.

It is apparent that your department's management need to be bring staff up to date on the "Agent Orange" issue.

This is not a reflection on the front line workers. It is a reflection on management who is obviously failing in informing their staff.

I trust that you will make appropriate use of my suggestion.

Vice President
Agent Orange Association of Canada
