This couple approached me this morning with their unfortunate situation.
I first met the guy two years ago.
Last spring he told me his girlfriend was pregnant.
He’s on social assistance so he phoned Family Services asking for housing.
They told the guy - Lets wait till the child is born and we’ll discuss the issue of housing.
I knew at that moment that something wasn’t right.
Every now and then I would come across this guy. I would always asked if everything was ok?
This summer the couple got married while waiting for their first born.
I was told that the baby was born three months prematurely and New Brunswick Family Services quickly took the baby away from the couple.
They told the couple that they were a MENTALLY CHALLENGED couple so therefore couldn’t take care of the baby.
Now, I’ve got a problem with this Discriminatory Act by the Government.
Shouldn’t New Brunswick Family Services have given the couple the benefit of the doubt?
I was told the first time mom to-be read many books to educate herself on how to be a good mother to her child.
So? What’s your take on this one???
Chisholm Pothier is a very popular guy. I took this picture this morning and it was the first time I saw him since the election.
I walked by 30 minutes later and he was surrounded by all kinds of people.
Could there be a future for Chisholm in the political field???
Yes, it’s sure is nice to live in New Brunswick.
Where else in the Western Hemisphere would the new Premier to be walk around with nobody in his entourage.
No bodyguards no nothing!!!
My God even the Irvings can walk around freely.
New Brunswick is indeed a unique place to live.
This picture was taken at 3:00pm and I had a nice chat with Shawn.
Public relation is the upmost importance being a Premier.
Something that Bernard Lord didn’t have.
