They told the audience the death of six Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan.
I quickly changed the channel to CBC News World.
Sure enough, sadly it was true.
Six Canadian soldiers dead!!!
I blogged the story and decided to phone a woman whose husband is in Afghanistan.
She answered the phone in a very friendly mood.
At first, I felt relieved because she must have heard the news and it wasn’t her hubby.
She began talking about my blog.
I quickly changed the subject and asked her if her husband was in the area of the bombing?
She didn’t know what I was talking about???
I told her that six Canadian soldiers got killed in Afghanistan.
She quickly replied - One soldier???
I said- No! Six!!!!
I told her to change the channel to CBC News World.
She told her friend to change the channel and once she saw the television screen - Six Canadian Soldiers Killed.
Her first words were Dear God....Dear God....Dear God....
I was on the other line and told her they got killed on the road and I knew her husband wasn’t supposed to be in that area.
The woman never said a word.
I told her that I’ll let her go.
She quickly said- Charles? I got to let you go.
She never heard a word I told her on the phone.
After I told her the news? Her mind went blank!
Yes, when you have someone stationed overseas, you are hit very hard by the news of a soldier’s death.
The wives of our Canadians soldiers are a huge family.
Together they support our troops and with the news of the death of one of their own? They will mourn together.
Yes, I even have tears in my eyes while writing this little blog.
It’s very sad indeed.
This will be the closest that I will ever come to break the news of a soldier death to a family.
It was very sad.
I believe the next time I hear some awful news from Afghanistan?
I will send an email.
It’s much less emotional that way!
My sympathy to the Families!
Someone told me yesterday that I should stop using Dan Bussieres picture on my blog.
It was the first time he went at the New Brunswick Legislature and he couldn't stand looking at his face in the House.
One thing is certain? He's the most infamous Sargeant At Arms in the whole country.
If students do a google search in Image? There's all kinds of info on Dan Bussieres.
Speaking of the ban? I found out more of the individuals who made the complaint against me? I'll write more on this issue during the next 24 hours.
In the old days, you could see the white dome for miles around.
I took these pictures yesterday. I wonder what more damage Dan Bussieres have in store for our People's House?
I love talking to the public on about the emotional
issue of ADHD because it’s good therapy for this
Before the protest began? I was talking out loud to
myself on the streets of Saint John. I was very upset
of the manner that the Human Rights Commission of New Brunswick treated my case against the Irvings.
I was very upset and if I let it go through my head?
I would end up in the nut house!!!!
This is one of the main reason that I stayed so long in my tent. I had to unleash and unleash I did just that.
A protester needs to be clean and this means that I have to wash my clothes.
The girl who rented me her place didn’t
have a washer and dryer so therefore I had to have my clothes somewhere?
I found a Laundromat on Regent
As a person who suffers from ADHD, I hate to
wait for my clothes. I always had someone to do the
clean job for me. I paid them and I didn’t mind.
I met a woman name - Connie.
She worked The Paragone. She
would work at the Laundromat. She was quiet and very friendly.
I asked her if she would look after my clothes
and I’ll picked them up later? No problem. I only
had a handful of clothes and I had no money to buy some extra clothing.
I made a stop over at the Salvation Army. I found it funny that the woman recognized me from last year.
In 2002, I was on a hunger strike and my cousin
Cecile was very concern about me so therefore she
phoned the Salvation Army and they showed up at my tent with lots of juice for me to drink.
This time around they gave me some new pants and I was very comfortable with the new stuff.
My jean ripped open at my knee so therefore I didn’t look too impressive for a protester who wanted the public to sign their name on a petition.
I didn’t seem to have much luck on clothes. I had another hole but this time around Connie sewed my pants and I was on my way.
I came across two couple at the same time at my tent. One couple could speak le Francais and the other in English.
Boy? My ADHD really moved on that
conversation. I spoke for 15 seconds in English than
continued to translate en Francais. This went on for
10 minutes and everyone was laughing.
At he end, I did manage to get four names. Sure is helpful to be bilingual!
As a protester there’s no electricity in
my tent and it gets very boring.
I used to sit under a tree near the sidewalk and confront the public on the emotional issue of ADHD!
I saw myself debate with people till midnight.
A person who suffers from ADHD have a very difficult time falling asleep.
We need a radio or televison to concentrate our mind on other issues.
In this case, I had some sleeping pills with
me and they worked good. I would take one at around
10:00pm and by midnight, I would go to beddy bye.
Once in the tent, all I could hear was those gay people
driving their vehicles around the block.
If I was the City of Fredericton? I would place a police officer present in front of the Legislature with a radar because I’ve witnessed a lot of vehicles speeding than on this street.
It’s in the City but the drivers drive in a very fast pace. Sure would beneficial for the City.
I’m certain that lots of money would be
ome youngsters told me that Ritalin is being injected by many youths on the streets.
I would find out more about this issue when I would visit the rough part of the City in months ahead. I noticed that many Government employees came and chat with me
while it was dark.
I believe that they were afraid to face me during the daylight hours.
I might add that I always received the same message- Keep on fighting and
don’t give up!
It’s a darn shame that they’re afraid
to lose their jobs if they’re seen with me.
I didn’t take a nice shower for three days and I was tired.
I didn’t feel like making the long trip to Hylene
D’aigle house but I needed a shower.
Guess who ran from the Liberal Building on a nice Saturday morning?
Here’s the leader of the Liberal who
almost became Premier on June 9th.
I shouted at the young politician if he wanted to give me a ride?
Once inside, I told the Leader that he was very lucky that he lost the Election. He asked me what for?
I told Shawn that there were no tourists around the area so therefore this Province is losing a lot of money!
I’m certain that we’re talking around the half a billion dollar range.
I also showed Shawn my petition.
He told me that my petition wasn’t any good because I didn’t write my message on top of every page.
He told me that the house wouldn’t except my petition if I didn’t add the reason that the people are signing my piece of paper on every page.
I’m very grateful that Shawn told
me this because it would have been a big
disappointment for this protester to collect all those
names for nothing.
He drove me to my new friend place and signed my petition.
CHRIST HAS RISEN! HE HAS RISEN INDEED!
O DEATH, WHERE IS THY STING?
O GRAVE, WHERE IS THY VICTORY?
( 1 CORINTHIANS 15:55 *KJV )
As you already know, on this the Highest Holy Day
of the Christian year, we celebrate Christ's Resurrection,
and the promise of forgiveness of our sins, and Eternal
Life for God's Children! FOR IF WE HAVE BEEN
PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS
DEATH WE SHALL ALSO BE IN THE LIKENESS
OF HIS RESURRECTION. ( ROMANS 6:5 )
Isn't it truly wonderful to know that someday we
will be with God, the Arc Angels, our loved ones,
and all the company of Heaven? For of that day it is
written: GOD SHALL WIPE AWAY ALL TEARS
FROM YOUR EYES; AND THERE SHALL BE NO
MORE DEATH, NEITHER SORROW, NOR CRYING
NEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN:
FOR THE FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED
AWAY. ( REVELATION 21:4 )
So let us celebrate today, and thank Jesus Christ for
what He did us! After all it is written: FOR INDEED
CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER, WAS SACRIFICED FOR US.
THEREFORE LET US KEEP THE FEAST. Amen.
( 1 CORINTHIANS 5:7-8 )
With My Love & Prayers,
your servant Allen
