KIM SOMERVILLE - MY PERSON OF THE WEEK!!!!!!

Oppsss I almost forgot my person of the week.




I’m still having a difficult time choosing one but I found one!!!!

My person of the week is Kim Somerville Manager of the Back Door Bar on Rothesay Avenue.





A few weeks ago, she announced that the VLT’S were out the door.



The reason she gave was that too many families were going through a lot of hardship because of these dreadful machines.



The Lord Government don’t care so what can we do?



Bernard Lord told the audience on Voice of the Province last week that he told Mr.Volpe to find 20 million dollars.



Where is he going to find the extra money?

I heard they might installed VLT’s right at the bar.

You won’t have to get up your seat? You will see the VLT’S on the counter of the bar.

That’s what they do in Las Vegas!

Sad….it’s over in this Province until the Lord Government are remove from office.




In the meantime, people like Kim Somerville should be congratulated for a job very well done.

They took the time and taught of the families!!!!

ROGERS TELEVISION TO TELEVISE THE WHOLE SESSION AT THE NEW BRUNSWICK LEGISLATURE!!!!

Many people were disgusted of the fact that Rogers only televised question period in the Legislature during the past two years.

I was told that Rogers will cover the whole session from now on.

This is VERY good for New Brunswickers and the MLA’S in the House especially the ones in the opposition.

I remember the LNG debate.



Roly McIntyre, Abel LeBlanc and Stuart Jamieson spoke for hours against the LNG deal.





I walked into the Hansard office and asked for the transcript of the debate?

They told me that it would take months to gather all the information.

I was surprised, I received all the details of the debate in a matter of days.

They took into consideration that there’s no way in the world that the Irvings newspapers will print all the details and my blog was the only way for the public to know what was said.

Many MLA’S feels it’s very important to show the whole session in the Legislature so the voters in their riding know they are indeed fighting for the voters.



So? I say to Rogers - Good work!!!!

Now New Brunswickers will be able to see their MLA’S in action!!!!
