ARE ROGERS TELEVISION AND THE IRVING TRULY WORKING SIDE BY SIDE????
Yes, I truly believe these two are working hand in hand.
It’s raining hard outside so I watched the beginning of the show but quickly turned the station.
This guy is promoting the Irving’s newspapers on the air!!!!!
So? Call me paranoid that I’m asking the question?
Did he accept a bride from the Irvings to deny me the right to call in after years of not crossing that line?
From what I saw this evening?
Rogers Television and the Irvings are working side by side against New Brunswickers.

While in Saint John, I was surprise how many people asked me the reason that I was no longer on Voice of the Province?
This is a talk show program on Rogers Television.
They invite politicians on the show and New Brunswickers can asked questions to the elected officials.
Rogers television started a new game and it goes against our democratic system.
They took orders from someone < Could be the Irvings or the Lord Government > that I wasn’t allowed to phone in the talk shows any longer.
I have been phoning these talk shows for years and never once have I cross that line.
While in Saint John, I've been asked the reasons I don't called in these shows any longer by many citizens such as this one?
What really bothers me if they won’t accept phone calls from pay phones.
The poor people in New Brunswick are not allowed to call in.
This is a terrible step backwards in this Province.
Rogers Television tried in vain to help Bernard Lord win the Bi-election in Saint John by screening phone calls.
I am told that from now on? Any caller who goes against the politicians of the Lord Government will never be allowed to call again.
This is dictatorship at it’s worst. < Beside the Irvings >
I phoned CFBC talk of the town this morning that told the listeners the same story. I always say- THANK GOD FOR TALK SHOWS!!!
But this morning, I made it perfectly clear that I will no longer say that line because of Rogers Television denying the right to New Brunswickers to speak out!
I will say- THANK GOD FOR THIS TALK SHOW!!!
I strongly believe that if CFBC didn’t have the talk show? Michelle Hooten would have won the election because the Irving media backed her up 100%!!!
Shame on Rogers television joining the Irvings denying New Brunswickers right to speak.
From what I’m told? This Rich Crosby kid who took the place of Dennis Melanson began to give out his view on different issues. He does this at the beginning of the program.
Someone is backing him up big times.
I got the proof because seconds before I was going on the air, the producer told me that this Crosby kid got orders not to take my calls any longer.
So? Was this Crosby kid paid under the table to deny my right to speak?
I will sent a letter to the C.R.T.C. but I’m going to zero in on the issue of pay phone. The C.R.T.C. must investigate Rogers Televsion!!!!

I heard that Old Santa is going to be stand to the side at Market Square tonight (of course not dressed as Santa). The news people will be there. Don't post this because he does not want anyone to know; he will be standing there with a friend. The plot thickens in Saint John. What next?
The Mayor ran a compaign that it would an open Council and iclusive of all people and he would be accessible ( must be a different meaning to him); people can't reach him or his expensive assistant who gets paid more $40 thousand with all the deals they make for themselves. Interesting bunch of crap that he and 5 or 6 Councillors ran together on.
I suspect they will pull off some things soon. This is the cheapest Mayor because this parade is a Santa Claus parade and he is Royal but the treated Santa like he is disposable and possibly another part of the City will take over the parade.
In the end I hope they get sued ( by previous Mayor McAlary) for slander they spread, especially since they knew it was not true but they let things take it time; how cruel against a Mayor who cares about the people and was always there if you needed her. The problem was the government they wanted to get rid of her and never gave the city any money. Politics at it 's finest. Hope she gets back in; she's had my vote all along. People wanted change but now they want Norm McFarlane gone and it can't happen fast enough. Hope he gets a chuck of coal, Mr. Scrooge.

Council rebuffs plan to put pipeline through Rockwood Park

Saint John common council has sent a strong "no" to the company that wants to build a pipeline across Rockwood Nature Park.
The city council passed a resolution Monday night that asks Maritimes and Northeast Pipelines to prove that putting the natural gas pipeline across the ocean as an alternative could not work. It also states that the council has no interest in the pipeline going through the park.
City councillor Glen Tait explained to the public that officials from the company had met with council a few weeks ago and argued that the pipe could not go across the Bay of Fundy because the tides were too strong.
Mr. Tait said as a lay person, it was hard to understand how the same company could run a gas line for 150 miles across rough seas to Sable Island, off Nova Scotia, and not be able to run a similar line across eight miles of the Bay of Fundy.
The pipeline would run from the proposed liquefied natural gas terminal in Red Head on the city east side to the west side. It would then run all the way down to the United States, feeding American customers' energy demands.
The company prefers to blast through Rockwood Park and bury the line close to the existing hydro right-of-way in the park.
Mr. Tait argued that oil rigs and pipelines are built across oceans all over the world, including the rough north seas.
"How is it that the Bay of Fundy is so different than the North seas?"
Most councillors also said they did not want the pipeline company to tear up city streets to finish complete its project.
"I just say no to Rockwood Park and no to city streets," said Chris Titus.
The resolution calls for the company to conduct a credible scientific and engineering study to prove that the option across the Bay of Fundy is impossible.
The ultimate decision on the pipeline will be made by the National Energy Board in Calgary.
