Ok...last evening, I met up with two young cute girls from Saint Thomas University. They wanted to interview me. I guess their class are debating the
issue of Ritalin.
Half of the class has to tell the rest of the students why Ritalin is needed and the other half will explain the reason that Ritalin is over prescribed!
Now? Which side do you believe that I would be on????...lol....
The girls picked me up and we did our interview via video at Boston Pizza! My God? They make good pizza at that place.
What I really found interesting is that after the interview, the girls asked the young workers at the pizza place - Is Ritalin over prescribed?
You should have seen the look at the young people faces!
It reminded of my protest! Today’s youths knows and understand there’s a problem
with prescription drug and that’s exactly what they told the girls!
They also told the girls that in one case at the Oromocto Elementary school. A teacher walks around with a plastic bag and inside are many little bags
full of ritalin for the students! She said that they give the kids their Ritalin at noon! Mind you? I did hear in the past that Ritalin was really over prescribed in that school! I wonder why? Is it because these kids are from Military parents? No discipline so they drugged them!
But the Lord Government don’t care so I guess that the drugging and killing of our young children will continue till the next provincial election!
The girls did asked me some darn good questions and I was rusty because I haven’t talked about it for a while in front of a video camera but they did tell
me they learned a few things about Ritalin from our debate!
Hey? To educate the public on this emotional issue is my goal in life and I will not stop until the issue is address by those bureaucrats!
They are going to make a presentation this week to the school class and I pray that the professor in that class would invite me over to witness these kids make their presentations? It sure would be interesting to listen to both side of the issue! I am going to send that professor an email asking him for permission to sit down behind the class and listen!!!

"mistake" for the province to change legislation

Just how long has Woodside been living in
New Brunswick? How many big business projects have
been launched here without some type of
tax or grant help? This would be the same mayor who
was also upset when Moncton landed the
new Molson Brewery with government help. His is the
city that also tried to lure the hugely
successful World Wine Festival away from Moncton.
Sleuth has a proposal for Mayor Brad. We'll
keep the Wine Festival, but you can start a whole new
festival of your own. Let's call it the World

Which reminds me? I haven’t had my column printed in the Daily Gleaner since Peter Huggert took over that paper! I must phone the Editor and asked him where is my letter? Personally, I like the guy and he always printed my letters but this all change since Peter Huggert who dedicated his life and soul to the Evil Irving Empire! I believe that I will have to once again make a complain to the Atlantic Press Council on this issue!
Ok...I wrote enough and excuse the style and grammar of this column because I just write the darn thing and send it along the information Highway! All that I'm telling you is that Ritalin must be studied! The future of our kids are at stake! By the way? For you readers out there? This Diane person is the one who's suppose to print my book about my protest! But from what I can understand? The protest continues and she's trying to find closure I guess! God knows went the book will be printed! It should be printed because it's a darn good and funny story!!
There should be a law against insurence companies ripping off inocent people.
My girl frend with a perfect driving record and has been driving for 25 years was charged $2100
for a years coverage. Not fully insured but with the minimum coverage. From Coast insurence in moncton. They told her that the reason it was that high was because she didnt have a car insured on her name for 13 month so she had to pay as a new driver for a year.
I went to my place of insurence and got her the same coverage for $792. Now thats $1308 difference between 2 companies. Can anyone explain to me How 1 companie can charge $1308 more then a other company?
My advice to everyone is to steer clear from coast insurence in moncton or they will rip you off.
The person with the Insurance problem can Thank Bernard Lord for his input into making the Insurance Companies Billion Dollar Profittable business. Its just another reflection of what Bernard Lord did for our Province.
Two insurance companies charge different premiums for the same insurance coverage because it's a competitive market. Some want to build their book of business more than others?
What's the problem here? She shopped around and found a better price, and awesome one actually.

For 3 months she was paying over thirteen hundred dollars more then she is paying now. Were not just talking a hundred dollars here.
She didnt shop around.
She bought another car and I went with her to get her insurance changed to her new car.
The woman there said some things I didnt beleive. one thing she said was that after 1 year with them she was free to shop arround for better prices with other companies.
I told her that was bull. She can shop arround anywhere she wants whenever she wants and thats just what were going to do.
I couldnt beleive the difference between the 2 companies.
What Im saying is there are lots of people that are getting ripped off like she was and dont know it.
And I'm saying, if some station is selling gas for a price that you think is too high, you'd go looking for a station with a better price. Same thing with buying groceries, renting an apartment, or buying a car. With all these things, if the seller isn't offering a price we can swallow, we shop around. Why do people treat insurance differently? There are dozens of insurance companies selling insurance in NB. I don't understand why people don't shop around when they don't like what they hear.
What should the government do, that would make people figure out they should shop around? Take over all the insurance companies?

I work for government. Not political staff, a regular civil servant. I have nothing to do with insurance.
I am just genuinely mystified, seriously, at why people will cross town to save three cents a litre on gas but don't think to shop around for insurance. Maybe I'm just cheap, and that's why I immediately bailed on my old insurance company about three years ago when I didn't like what I heard. But I just don't get it: I'm not really that smart, so why did I know to shop around, and other people don't seem to know they can/should?
lol about the spray bottle....hey, a family with six kids was well behaved at a restaurant...< the secret -according to a father, named Dan; was to give them lots of attention and be consistant with praise and dissipline. And, they were allowed a little bit of candy, once and awhile!...I noticed that the oldest child helped the Mother and Father out by helping to feed and care for the youngest...They were well organized! He said that they were not on RItalin...I said could I use his name to write you..."yes"--I told him about your province's problem of over prescription and he said that Ritalin was over prescribed in America, also!
It's because of you Americans that we're having such a hard time with Ritalin in this Country!...lol
I don't get it...??? Americans are to blame???? It sounds like America is the scape goat for the World's problems...But, America should mind it's own business and not worry about other countries' problems???? Ritalin is a problem all over...It is easier and cheaper to drug the kids then to give them attention and proper nutrition! It's easier and cheaper to take care of Iraq than to take care of the poor in America! I wonder how many of the kids in Iraq will be on Ritalin, before it's all over...???? Ritalin is really prescribed in the U.S, Canada, Australia and New Zealand! Don't worry...the big drug compagnies will land in the other countries soon enough!
