BERNARD LORD - IS THIS THE TRUE PREMIER?
After yesterday's announcement that the poor will not receive any help from the Government. Electricity rate goes way up but nothing for the poor who lives in Apartments. Could this be the true Bernard Lord?

MR. PREMIER, WHAT A BOUT ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT IN JAIL OR ON SOCIAL ASSISTANCE, BUT HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS SINCE FILING THEIR 2004 INCOME TAX...WE ARE LIVING ON LOUSY EI AND NOTHING ELSE, WHAT ARE WE TO DO TO PAY NB POWER BILLS WITH THAT KEEP BEING RAISED--TWICE SINCE THE FIRST OF THE YEAR, AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING FOR MORE, AND THE PRICE OF FIRE WOOD IS $185.00 A CORD, GAS PRICES SHOULD BE REGULATED, AS WE CAN'T FILL UP THE TANK TO LOOK FOR WORK....BERNARD LORD, YOU WERE THE FAIR HAIRED GOLDEN BOY A FEW YEARS AGO, BUT NOW THIS GOVERNMENT OF YOURS IS GOING TO FALL MIGHTY HARD WHEN YOU DROP THE NEXT WRIT FOR AN ELECTION...YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO PICK UP ONE SEAT IN THE SAINT JOHN AREA, OR FOR THAT MATTER IN THIS PROVINCE....ELIZABETH WEIR, YOU PICKED THE WRONG YEAR TO STEP DOWN, YOU COULD HAVE BECOME MADAME PREMIER IN THE NEXT ELECTION!!!

Mr. Premier, What about all of us who's landlord have done away with central heating and installed electric heat in the units that the tenants are now responsible for paying, even though no insulating has been done?
This supposed rebate deals with heating oil only and does nothing to assist those who are still struggling to pay off the electric bills from last heating season, and that's not mentioning those of us who are ging to be struggling under ever increasing hydro bills this coming Fall and Winter.
The initiative put forward by this government is a step in the right direction but falls far short of what is required to help all those who are going to need assistance this winter. I am quite certain NB Power is already contemplating another rate increase in power rates, and we have not had to deal with the last rate increase during the cold months.
We need help now before we all wind up on the doorstep of the nearest food bank and soup kitchen, that is if they are able to even keep up with the demands being placed on them.

What I would like to know once and for all is, Is the guy for real or what!!??
He really must think we the people of this province are as stupid as squid or something to that effect.
He says he will ask Mr. Volpe if he can find 20 Million Dollars for his bogus little treat to the peasants.
Well Mr. Lord must be pretty daft himself as he knows damn well that certainly would not be much of a task as this amount will be easily surpassed with the increased price of gas alone!
Never mind the 100 Million Dollars plus that will be made from exploiting OCD (obsessive Compulsive disorder) through the VLT scams and the like. And that is one thing I know he understands only too well (EXPLOITATION) as this seems to be how he runs this province.
Mr. Lord should start taking stock of his behavior and the many disgraces he will face when his job is done and his legacy as the WORST LIAR EVER!!and his anti-social behavier towards the very voters who have put him in office in the first place.
He is a cold hearted and arrogant ass that must be thrown out into the streets where that sort of trash belongs and thrives!! And he should take his better half Mr. Chisholm with him.
After reading garbage like that I’m sorry but I’m fit to be tied and would love to say much more than this.
I know for a fact that when an election is called he will definitely get to know me much better than he does now because I will follow him and make myself very clear on how I and many others feel about his rantings and never ending lies!!!
Just like the truckers gas rage: as VLT’s, Hospital closures,and many many other things that the people of this province are pissed at him about
the only thing that came out of Mr. Lord’s smart mouth was very predictable as it is the only line he knows which goes

Listen Charlie you live in the Capital you should consider making a list of those who are in power and put a list of their names who are enjoying all these gas increases on the backs of Joe public and let them know who are driving these big gas guzzlers such as The minister of Health Mr. Robichaud and Mrs.Blaney and others that we are paying for as their pleasure cruises must be costing us a small fortune from those big SUV's that they really don't need for any other purpose than for show!!!!!

Poor people get a rebate for gasoline which they probably didn't purchase anyway because they're too poor to pay for insurance, gas and a car anyway. Smooth Mr. Lord. How about something for the working stiffs who pay for everything in this province?
