NEW BRUNSWICK LEGISLATURE - FREDERICTON IS CHANGING INTO FORT KNOX?????

metal

I confronted more MLA’S yesterday on the issue of Boarders and roomers rights.

I bumped into Jody Carr < P.C. MLA > and he asked me what are the other Provinces doing about this issue?

Charles 04_07_05 038

He’s going to find out for me.

I also saw Kelly Lambrock. < LIBERAL MLA > He told me that it was funny that I would mention roomers because as a student he used to fight for the same issue but he totally forgot about it!

Misc 132

Sounds interesting??? Lets see what’s going to happen?

Minutes later, I bumped into Denis Landry and he agreed that the Government should look into it! Denis is on the right!

Charles 04_07_05 042

Someone mentioned if I chatted with Bard Green of this issue?

I told the individual that we’re talking about a Minister in the Lord Government but for the record?

I confronted Mr.Green on three different occasions.

Ok…going to the blog in hand!!!!!!!!

New Brunswick are getting with the times but is this a good or bad idea????

I remember when I was protesting in the summer of 2002. I was able to go right in the Premier’s office but no more.

They installed these security doors downstairs.

P1010074

I remember one day when the Legislature was open for business.

I walked passed by a Commissionaire and signed the book.

Charles 04_07_05 015

As a matter of fact, I was with WCIE.

We were walking near the Library when suddenly a Commissionaire shouted in front of everyone - CHARLIE…CHARLIE…CHARLIE???? WHAT’S IN YOUR BACK POCKET????

Charles 04_07_05 017

I didn’t appreciate being degraded in front of everyone so I closely grabbed my comb and took it out and showed it to the Commissionaire.

My God? It was terrible. They must believe that I’m a nut???? We all know that I am!!!..lol…but I never cross that thin line!

We used to use the washrooms upstairs but no more.

Maybe I droved them nuts when the P.C. Mla’s used the washrooms and they saw me inside.

There’s cameras all over the place.

Charles 04_07_05 053

They can focus real close.

Just last year, they added huge spotlights on the front walls of the Legislature.

I’m glad these lights weren’t there when I was protesting.

There’s nothing more beautiful then seeing the Dome of the Legislature at night.

Charles 04_07_05 119

I know because it was my home for six months.

charles

It’s beautiful but those huge spotlights took the beauty away.

Take a look at Assemblee Nationale in Quebec?

Look at this picture?

275px-Assemblee_Nationale_du_Quebec_la_nuit

How come we can’t have the same beautiful atmosphere in New Brunswick?

Our Legislature is beautiful and we should make certain it look nice in the evening.

Of course, the word – MONEY would come into action.

Even the building of the New Brunswick Human Rights are security lock!

Charles 04_07_05 004
Charles 04_07_05 002

What are they worried about anyway?

I walked into Andy Scott’s office and it looks like a doctor’s office.

P1010011

I told the staff that they should at lease have the water cooler outside in the waiting room and place a little garbage bin in the corner.

It’s not much but it’s important to make the citizen fell comfortable.

Paul Zed office is wild open and of course I understand that Andy was assaulted in his office in 2003 and he’s a Minister.

paul zed

Everywhere you go it’s security lock.

There’s only one Government building that’s not security lock and that’s the ombudsman office.

Charles 04_07_05 005

Bernard Richard will continue to have this very important open door policy with the public but the question is – For how long?

Charles 04_07_05 009

His office is right at the door and it’s sure is nice to great the head macho himself.

There’s more changes coming at the Legislature.

The rumor is that metal detectors will be present to search the visitors once they passed through the doors.

metal

In my opinion? This is pure Hogwash!!!

New Brunswickers haven’t cross that thin line yet.

Charles 04_07_05 045
Ch-Com-2

No MLA’S have been assaulted in the Legislature or in their ridings?

Why show New Brunswickers in their face that we don’t trust them?

It just doesn’t make any sense.

This could backfire on the Government because we’re laid back!

We don’t have metal detectors in Schools. < not yet > but it seems that the Government wishes to get New Brunswickers upset.

Yes, The Capital is quickly becoming like Fort Knox and there’s nothing we can do about it!

Do you care about this issue or is it just moi????

C’est la vie!!!!!

Lord is building walls everywhere to keep the public out. He is doing so in the name of security. He would not even entertain questions when he appeared on channel 10 last night. Was that a security problem too? Bull. The man is paranoid. Only advice to him is, "Mr.Lord tear down the walls".

i watched that show too. i don't think it was live which would explain no questions. was it live?

It was quite dead. You may be right there. All such programs with channel 10 were live first time and questions were entertained. Instead Lord chose to have no questions and just tape the program in that manner. So that is no excuse whether this particular program at the time of showing was live or not. He is too afraid of questions.

i thought i heard on tv rogers were in construction and that's why the shows are taped right now. is that true. if is is that's not lord's fault, is it.

They weren't taking any calls and Shawn Graham will be the guest next week. Same systems no calls! So the bottom line is this. Bernard Lord is not at fault for this one. < For once!>

I know from the 'inside' that Rogers will not do any kind of political shows if they can avoid it. Even on their interview shows they will not have politicians because it's too 'risky'.

Do not be so naive. If they did not allow calls for Lord because he did not want them and then turn around and allow calls then Rogers will look pretty foolish. To avoid that may be they have created new rule, no calls, period.

You think Rogers will do anything contrary to the wishes of the party in power. You got to be kidding yourself.

We've talked about this one before. It's unfortunate that we can't just walk into the legislature or premier's office or MLA's office without being ID'ed but we can't. In Quebec the Premier there has armed guards around him anywhere he goes and the same happens in some other provinces. It's too bad but that's the 21st Century. Security has become paramount and threats real or otherwise are taken seriously. They have to be. It's great to think we're laid back and most of us are but it only takes one. Remember the guy from Sackville who went to Toronto a couple of years ago to go on a killing spree or the name Allan Legere? We're unfortunately not all so laid back.

Yeah, right. Good excuse to keep the public out. I suppose he did not accepts questions from public, when he appeared on channel 10, for security reason. Or you will say it was Rogers' decision. Bull and more bull.

I don't know why there were no questions, but if Graham isn't taking any either, it's obvious as Charles said that this isn't Lord's fault. Are Rogers Studios in renovation? If so, there's your answer. Lord has taken questions on Rogers plenty of times before. You can call it bull if you want but if those circumstances exist, that's your answer. Again, the facts of the situation have to supersede anyone's feelings of hatred towards Lord. Seems on the surface to be a good reason for Lord not taking calls. Does anyone know about the current Rogers situation? Your answer is there one way or the other.

Spinks, your problem is you do not read all the posts and just jump in the middle. You are the only one who loves the word hatred. Even the facts stated contrary to your arguments are hatred especially when you have no response. Then your favourite statement is: Someone hates Lord or someone hates Spinks. You both suffer from narcissism as rest of the world does not seem to love you as much as you love yourselves.

If Rogers do not allow questions in case of Lord then they would look pretty foolish to allow in the case of Shawn Graham. It will look odd. So you come up with a new policy. Why they let go some outspoken people and eliminated their programs? Any answer to that? Or I 'hate' you that is why I am asking this question? Poor Spinks.

Anonymous said...

why you on spinks again. he's got a good point. rogers is in construction. that's why there were no questions.

Anonymous said...

May be it was for construction. No one has confirmed it for sure.

Here's the poop folks...
Rogers television studios in Fredericton are in the midst of renovations. Rogers is unable to do live programming from York street until the work is done..(expected sometime early next month.) In the meantime, Crosby Live and Voice of the Province are being pre-taped at the Capital Winter Club on Rockwood. Rogers doesn't have the capabiulity to go live from there. Things will get back "normal" in a few weeks. Sorry to burst the bubble of all those conspiracists.

Conspiracy is your word. Lord has been hiding from public from the day one that he became Premier. In 1999 he promised many to meet with them after the election, win or lose. It was a lie. He never did meet once he got elected Premier which he did not expect to win. The man is a liar and lies all the time & lies through his teeth.

Spinks said...

Come on 9:33am. At least agree that it's not Lord's fault that Rogers is having renovations and is unable to go live. I think that's all that's being said here.

Lord loves not to be accountable or not to be questioned. That is all I am saying.

Spinks said...

To be honest, I don't think any politician really likes to answer questions. Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't. We'll see on the next broadcast whenever that is and it's live.

It is has been six years that Bernard Lord has been hiding behind all kinds of walls. This leopard will not change its spots.

At least McKenna and Hatfield made themselves available to public although they did not provide utopian governments. They did not lie the way Lord lies all the time.
