Charlie I was talking to the person monitoring this one, He has told me that things are actually slowing down a bit at this store as the energy people were advised of all the publicity surrounding this issue it would be a good idea not to be hanging out on the VLT's,He said that one of the employees told him this was passed on to them.

8:43 AM if it was that easy that you tell the employees and they will not go near VLTs then we will not have all these problems. They will be there after hours as long as that accessibility is there.

jwmcq whosoever you are you are so right. This lying, connving, fumbling, bumbling fool Bernard Lord is ruining this province. He is worse than Brian Mulroney. As Mulroney did see faults of his way after two terms and quit. Bernie Lord still thinks that he is the best thing ever happened to NB. God help us. We must get rid of this disease, sooner the better.

VLT gambling has no place in Canada

Video lottery gambling is a path to death, destruction and a life of total ruination. The Sept. 8 Telegraph-Journal notes in a headline, "VLT addiction turns messenger into thief."

For those who are considering the VLT question, visit the web site, gameovervlts.com, where you can read first-person accounts of exactly what these machines of mass destruction have done, and are continuing to do. Studies have concluded that approximately 45 per cent of regular VLT players are problem gamblers. For our government to augment the finances of this province on the backs of those who can least afford to pay is wrong.

Apathy and indifference on the part of all responsible citizens is allowing our government to perpetuate an unacceptable, indefensible and deplorable parasitic scheme. Video lottery gambling has no place in a civilized country such as Canada.

[[[[CONTINUOUS ACCESS]]]] is a key ingredient of Mr.B F Skinner's theory, and most [[[PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS]]] have kindly allowed for wide availability.

At least Lord can say he was accessible. He provided all kinds of accessibility through VLTs.

He isn't accessible His greed is!!!

Yes, that is what I mean. He is reaching out to the poorest of the poorest through his agent VLTs. He is everywhere.
