This is just another example of the stupidity, that our Province and Country has lowered themselves to. they think that by drugging our children that that and subjecting them to these Psychological Counsellors is the answer to the problems of children and other citizens, and if they don't conform to the treatment that they are introduced/subjected to, they are put behind bars or, into Mental Institutions.

Heard today it cost 300 thousand a year to send one autistic child to Maine for help and also they knew they could of doubled those dollars and educated people here in NB to take care of these special needs children. Shame on the government; people come last in NB.

They can do in half of that what they will be spending in U.S. Money remains here, our own people get trained to work with autistic children and most importantly child remains closer to family. There are already trained people who can be used. It is just another big blunder of our government.

I have an autistic child and there isn't much here, in Saint John (or in New Brunswick), to help parents. Thank goodness for CICA. They mostly provide information and support but getting actual help....well, that's a long wait and who knows when of if you'll ever get it. Unless you have medical insurance then you are put on a very long waiting list. You can't afford the help.
