In other provinces or the States? These windows would be full with steel bars.
Even in the evenings, they’re still open.
In other areas of the Western Hemisphere there would be a huge steel door.
This store even leaves his expensive items outside at night when he closes?
But the emotional question is this?
For how much longer this open trend can continue on?
Another act is the openness of the corner stores in this province.

Some of us baby boomers can remember a time when you could go out for an evening, leave your doors unlocked, come back home and nothing would have been touched or stolen.
After recently hearing or reading the results of a recent poll, about the crime rate in Halifax being the either the worst in Canada, or possibly rising the fastest in Canada.
I fear that Saint John in not very gar behind Halifax.
I have been in the United States on several occasions in past years, and was surprised to see most of the gas bar and local convenience store employees behind bullet proof glass, and some were even wearing bullet proof vests.
They thought I was pulling their legs Charles, when I told them back in 1994 that you never saw that sort of thing here in Atlantic Canada, nor even in the state of Maine for that matter.
I was in Washington DC for a Veterans Convention, and the chaps at the convention wouldn't dare go out at night unless in large numbers at the same time, for fear of being shot, knifed or something crazy like that.
At that time in 1994 we never saw the people behind the Bullet Proof Glass until we got into the state of New York. I don't know what it's like now.

I think the Both Of You had an extra helping of Stupidity at suppertime yesterday, or were stuffing 10 supersize chilly dogs, thus causing both of you to lose Oxygen to your brains cells, if either one of you have any left.
