Like it or love it, the Conservatives totally domianted the first week of election. For good or bad, depending on where you sit all the focus was on the Conservatives as the other parties tried to catch up. It's a long campaign so things can change but the Conservatives clearly won week one.
I'm not talking polls. I still don't think they'll form a Government, at least not a majority one but as far as dominating the election, the Conservatives took Week one hands down. Evereybody was talking about them including the other parties. A long campaign so maintaining that momentum is difficult.
However on the subject of polls, the latest CPAC poll had the Liberals up a bit, the Conservatives pretty much the same and the NDP dropping. Looks like the NDP support is heading over to the Liberals again. However, as we all know only one polls counts, Jan. 23.
Like I said and you folks are proving it, people and the media are talking about the Conservatives and not so much about the other parties. So far they're driving this election. That doesn't mean they'll win but they are controlling the agenda.
Not really. Harper is putting too many cards on the table and soon he will run out of ideas. Then he will start looking tired and haggard at the end as he did last time. Only difference is that this time it is much longer period.

He is gone of the road. Any chance he will get back on.

How come latest polls show that Conservatives have gone down and Liberals gone up.

For Harper ZERO seats in Quebec. May be one or two in Atlantic Canada. Very few in Ontario. He is doomed from the get go.
All the other leaders were campaigning today and Harper took rest. He simply does not have enough fire in his belly.
It's the sabbath, he's playing to his constituency.
Yes he did the same last election and it became lost election. It did not work.

Maybe, but so far they're running the show.
Show which might end by the end of December. It is too early to tell.
