This Lady, June Phyllips lives here in Fredericton NB. She lives on an income of $270.00 a month. She received a phone call 2 days ago that her father is dying with kidney failure and on life support.He has about 48 hours to live. She wants to go see him from Fredericton to Calgary Alberta. We have tried to raise enough money for her to get there. She has gotten help from 2 churches and the Salvation Army, a total of $125.00 . She needs $400.00 to get there by bus hoping to get there before he passes away. This Painting done by a Fredericton man Paul Hughes donated it to her, to see if she could sell it to get enough money to get there. Does anybody want to help and buy this painting? This is a true story. There's a old guy in his 80s who's been in this building for 22 years. It's so sad that the old guy gave the girl 20 bucks. Trust me!!! He doesn't give any money to anyone. Noy even a smoke. All the girl wants is to get out west as soon as possible before her father dies. Anyone out there???? Just call Millie at 506-458-1209. This has been been going around for 72 hours. It's nice to see the poor giving a helping hand to her so I decided to blog it! Merci!!!!
Strange math here. If he only had 48 hours to live and this campaign for funds is 72 hours ongoing, well he should have been deceased 24 hours ago, Charles? I would buy the painting if I believed the effort was worthy. Why do I have a strange feeling in my gut about this?
