They're doing what the city has told them to do...get out on the streets for visibility. I for one am glad to see them out there. Between a rise in break and enters and drug related crimes in the city, their presence is clearly needed. Why would anyone be upset at seeing the police on the streets? Only law breakers need to fear the FPF.
Yah, because the corner of King and Regent is where all the drug dealing and break and enters occur! Being visible means the crooks know exactly where they all are, boy, that's some smart police work. Look, there's a cop, I guess there's no point in trying to break in anywhere, no point in selling/buying drugs. I guess that's it then, no more breaking and entering occurring or drug dealing, that was really easy!
Of course everybody is a crook nowadays, or a potential one. The worst ones of all are those living in poverty who have the nerve to 'pollute' the streets asking for money! Why, they are no better than murderers!
I Thank God for the Police Presence on our Streets, I am getting so bloody sick and tired of these idiots being allowed to come into our city and cause problems for those of us who have lived here for years and have even been born and raised here. As far as I am concerned the Fredericton Police force has my full support to clean up the streets so long as they respect the public, so long as there is no undue harassment of any citizen. I hope that they run these Criminals out of here so this city can be safe and decent once again.

Keeping an eye out for those pesky panhandlers. Tourist season is coming so they've got to 'clean the streets' before June and July.
