This is another of Bernie's game to win votes. Gas regulation is a farce. Orimulsion to gas regulation. Bernie wants to rub it all into our wounds. He will squeeze the last drop of blood from us, the citizens, to further himself.
Actually its not proper regulation, that's why Energy idiot , er, minister, Fowlie is stating that it will be amended. Looks like the critics are right.

Hate to be a wet blanket, but the feds won't do anything about it, emailing isn't going to do anything. But people can't have it both ways, regulation helps the consumers, and no regulation helps the owners. I did hear that one of the problems was that they don't institute a 'minimum price' although they do have a 'maximum price'. That would seem to me to be a good thing.
However, they should do like Nova Scotia and regulate the wholesale price, but that's something they don't seem willing to do. It should be very interesting come hurricane season to see what happens. One hurricane almost doubled oil prices last year, if it happens again ..yikes.
Notice that unlike most states there are still no rebates on hybrid cars or alternative transportation. Massive funds still go into new highway construction, and very little into public transport. There was no mention of lowering the province's gas tax, and no relief for small gas station owners.
Good work tories. It's comforting to know that the province is run by total idiots.

And of course as soon as something is 'the law' it is right and beyond criticism.
