Charles, when I heard him interviewed on one of the local radio stations here in Saint John, I never heard him talk about any of the Issues and problems in the riding he's running for.
All I heard him talk about and say, was as you posted, He's a Visible Minority, and hoping to be the First Black person hoping to get elected.
What the hell does being a Visible Minority, or the Colour of someone's skin has to do with anything ???
The issues, The issues are what count. Dr. Ed will blow him away.

This candidate is a bate by Bernard Lord. Bating Liberals to say racist things against this candidate and then capitalize on it to say that it is the Liberals who are racist. So be careful what you say. Do not take the bate.
I wish I was in Idee's riding so I could vote for him because "of what he did to Tim Smith!" That and he has great ideas and visions! Maybe you should sit down with the guy before you make assumptions Charlie.
Don't lose the focus of what is really the problem and that is Lord kick his butt to the curb. Don't start making issues that don't exist. He should of ran for the Liberals and then he would have the votes. He needs experience and the best way is lose first and that will develope character. Lord never learned that he won twice so his arrogance got him to where he should be; reflecting on what just happened.
