disheartening to a Mayor and Council to turn on all the people. Yes they want to talk social issues anything to get off topic. Disgusting how little respect the Mayor has extended to citizens of Saint John. He needs to get a little taste of his own medicine along with the other councillors who like to play god.
People have seen his true colours for sometime. Politics is a very dirty game and it will continue as long people remain quiet.
This will haunt us for years and oh yes thank you Mayor and Councillors for nothing but smoke and mirrors.
"Please we need to first help the billionaires and then we will help you." As long as my family and friends are looked after who cares about the average people - they don't know the difference.
We heard that for years and nothing will change. People are still ignored and will never be helped.
Yes but I wish more people would stand up for their rights. They don't respect people only if they agree with council. Something very wrong how we keep the Mayor and Councillors who turn on the very people who voted them in. Inclusive, thinking out side of the box, change, open and no backroom deals. Their compaign was based on getting the pipeline through this city and at least possible inconvenience for this wealthy corporations.
"Water" well that is a big problem because they have to buy up all the lakes they can for this pipeline. Forget water for daily use for necessities. What about the West Branch in Musquash a resource that should be protected for the people of our city not the Irvings Empire.
