In the morning, we were going to protest in tents in front of the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission but it will have to wait till after my trial on November 20th!

These bureaucrats refuses to send a media press release telling the Justice Minister that the bill to include roomers and boarders in the Landlord and tenant Act.

These bureaucrats don't care of the poor are thrown out the door during the cold winter months.

I'm going in their office tomorrow trying to find out what's the problem?

Ok, so let me get this straight. Even though Royal Assent has been given to the new Residential Tenants Act it is not binding?

And now the Human Rights Commission refuses to send the letter that they said they would in that previous meeting?

But if there is a new Residential Tenants Act (which the liberals have taken off the GNB website, as with ALL of the previous governments decisions) then why does the HRC need to send the justice department a media release for them to abide by government law?

And who is Gordon Porter and why do all teachers hate him?

There is a Residential Tenancies Act, and it's on the gnb website along with every other Act and Regulation. The amendments to add protect roomers and boarders have not yet been proclaimed.

Anybody know what 'proclaimed' means? Hell, whats the point of a legislative system that has so much tradition that its impossible to get anything done. It got Royal Assent last June for chrissakes.

Found it. Sorry, it got Royal Assent in APRIL for *&^% sake. It takes over half a year for them to 'proclaim' new acts???
