I read about you on CBC website this morning and my thoughts are with you as you go to court. The work you do is important and what happened was a violation of your rights. I hope the court confirms this. Best, Catherine

As an ex-pat Maritimer living in Ottawa, you should know that lots of us are following your situation up here. Thought that as a fellow blogger and human-being it was important to let you know your work is far-reaching and inspiring to so many people on so many levels. Best wishes in beating what are obviously trumped-up charges, and not matter what happens, keep doing what you're doing.

good luck with the trial.
Can you post what happened in the court room.
What is the prosecution's argument for arresting you? Or do they have one?

Never mind sucking up to Charles and Baby Talking him, I think he's a Lazy Welfare Bum, who expects the working people of this province to support him forever :

He's always talking about helping the poor, Get a God Damn job you lazy oaf,and donate your money to the Poor.

You can opetate a computer, get a job at a Call Center like Hundreds of other New Brunswick Residents Have done.

Then again with your attitude, you'd lose that as well.

These are my thoughts and freedom of speech, but you won't post this will you Charles, just the same as you very rarely ever post an opinion that doesn't follow or buy the Charles Leblanc train of thought.

And I think Ritalin is good for Kid's. It keeps them calmed down. Don't forget to take yours.

hey? Why don't you come and find out how lazy I am and tell me that comment face to face???

Come on??

Give it a good coward try!!!...lol

For 4:40, the charge was obstruction. The police maintain that charles 'was told to leave but refused'.

Good One 8:30 PM You are right. There's no doubt in my mind, the Police more than likely Told him to beat it.

And Charles being the Know it all, he thinks he is, More than likely Got Smart Ass with the Police.

Did ATV cover your trial Charles ?

Maybe other media outlets won't cover your trial because you're nothing more than a Joke :

Charles we do have some people on here that someone has asked to slam you! One thing is true you did nothing wrong but people love to take people down. It does sicken me when they really know nothing about what went on and are quick to take people apart. We all are equals rich or poor. famous or not, respected or not.

You can't change haters they have to want help. Go about your day with no shame and do the best each day and remain positive, good job so far. No one is perfect and these "nay-sayers need help. Take care. They did over react but they are now slow to bring out what happen because they know they did not have any danger from you. Really picture taking; good one. Saint John has problems but the politicians and their back room friends in Our City are rhe real problems. Thank you for making a difference, someday they will understand.

Answer the Question Charles :

Did ATV cover Day # 1 of your Trial ?

Anonymous said...

Whether he was told that by police is up to the prosecution to prove, not for people to assume. Anybody that thinks they know what went on when they weren't even present is hardly worth listening to.

As mentioned, if they DID tell Charles to leave then its odd to tell that to a guy taking pictures while a bunch of kids are trying to break down the door. Why wouldn't you tell them to leave? Why wouldn't you arrest more of them?

After day one of the trial the prosecution isn't even close to proving that the officer said anything to charles.

IF a police told Charles to leave, then it falls on the police to ensure the person heard it. No doubt some other cop may say he heard it, but any judge will rightfully suspect that. For those who only get Irving news the police have a bad habit of stuff like this. In Moncton a group of police were chastised by a judge because no warrant was signed for the arrest of a guy possessing drugs. The judge maintained the guy had a record and there was no way a warrant would have been refused, but because they were too lazy to get a warrant the guy went free because his rights were trampled.

Of course many want us to skip to the police state level where police can do what they want, the more reasonable recourse is for them to do their job right.

At this point it is malicious prosecution. It's one thing for cops to say 'look we weren't prepared and got pissed off', then you just apologize. Deleting the pictures is far more serious, as is the continuing prosecution.
