Louie Robichaud brought both The French and rural english communities up to par with the rest of New Brunswick. Prior to Equal Opportunity your education, health care and opporunities were depended upon where you were born. Strong second place to Frank McKenna who showed NB'ers we are only limited by our imagination and can compete with the world "hope restored"
Although they all left their mark on this beautiful province Louis J. started the big ball rolling. Up till Louis J. it was WASP Province and God help anyone who tryed to change it.
I prefer not to use acronyms when referring to a particular ethnic, cultural,or religious group,no matter what group it is.That is just bigotry, plain and simple.
Have to say Hatfield. Had the best government run programs healthcare was much better (then the McKenna years LOL) GOvernment grants were easier to get (way less red tape) so Hatfield then I would say Louis J. McKenna would have to be the last
Definitely Richard Hatfield. The public vilified him because he was different. But he still goes down in my books as a premier who was a bold visionary that wasn't afraid to take chances. My second choice would definitely be Louis J Robichaud as he was bold enough to fight for equality and human rights. Not to mention, he was the only NB premier to seriously look at merging the maritime provinces so that we could have a stronger voice [economically] in Ottawa. Amen to that notion Louis!!

And Charles next time you want to use my "libranos" picture ask me lol.
You mean a coward is finally going to leave their full name????...lol
I just reject a comment and it was about Richard Hatfield.
We have all heard the stories but how do a person make it public.
I'm not sure that even a blogger would wish to touch those issues?
I'm sorry but this is not the place to write comments about a person who dies years ago.
But I do have one question?
If I won't blog it? How do you share your stories?
Good question indeed?
