Charles, If heritage is so important to you, why don't you put your own money into this heritage initiative ? You dont want "Irving" running the Province; Then, chough of the dough and fix the problem, dont wait for your powerful nemesis and take action ! I read you asking the Government (Tax payer) to do so with all the other problems; Walk the talk and stand up and pay the bill...If you can't do that, be realistic and realize; To accomplish change , it requires two things; Peoples' will/assets, peoples ressources(...money) (God's backing will help geatly if you are a believer). Charge them with whatever law is broken. You and I would have to have it taken down or boarded up and given a date and deadline to get it done. The taxpayers would not pay to fix some old place I owned. Wake up and stop making excuses for billionaires; laws should apply to them too.

If the public wants it fixed and the owners don't care it makes sense that the public has to pay - be it in the form of a tax concession or a grant.
