Did you pay to get in or did you threaten them to let you in for free or else?

I was with another media individual and we were greeted by a friendly woman.

I told her what I wanted to do and she gladly allowed me inside.

I got many shots and will post them in one blog later on.

It'll be great media relation for the event next year if someone search for the event for next year.

I got a better reception than the people from the Saint John Riverfeast.

Stay tuned...

So you told them your mother is Scottish and they let you in.

So the question could be..would they have let you in on your own or were you allowed in by association. Sure hope it wasn't the Irving media's coat tails you were riding one Charles. I'm thinking maybe its JustFred.ca, you have been spending a fair amount of time with them lately. They give great media attention and plenty of pictures on their web site but alas, unlike yours little comic relieve

I notice a reporter from ATV News sitting down and I waited with her until the woman from the games arrive.

I believe it's good public relation for them because we all know that I love taking picture.

Too bad the guy wouldn't allow me in Friday evening because a parachuter was sent to the hospital.

The jump turned a little ugly maybe someone who was there took some pics?

You can send them to oldmaison@yahoo.com

Merci....

I don't think that they would consider pictures of some one getting hurt at their event as "good public relations" Charles. It might surprise you but pictures of things "turning a little ugly" are usually never good for an event. It might be worth noting that if it is one of your goals to be allowed free passage to promote city events there is a certain responsibility on your part to paint it in the best of possible light. Otherwise you might find yourself on the out side looking in more often than you would like.
Speaking of acting responsible, what ever happened to that lovely posting about War Brides Charles? Decide to take the high road after all?

Well this is good to know for next year. I can go to the front gates and say "Well, last year you let Charles LeBlanc in for free. I have a personal website too so you have to let me in so I can take some pictures and put them online."

Yes, thanks for that tip. I can't wait to get in for free next year.

The War Bride story stayed there all weekend and I decided to remove it.

No one send me a huge letter that I chicken out.

As for next year? Go ahead be a blogger with over a 1/4 Million hits and you might be allowed in there.

Just for the record, I stayed there for maybe 30 minutes and got out.

I can't stay in the same area for long.

"No one send me a huge letter that I chicken out".

You did receive a letter asking you to remove the post. You replied never. Now it is gone. Chicken, chicken, cluck, cluck.
