Not anyone of any importance but he was to me.

You see? I first met Paul a couple of years ago and we became friends.

During the By-election in Saint John, he would join Tim Smith and myself looking for people to get out and vote.

Every instance, I had a problem or wanted a second opinion about the Liberal Party?

I would go and see Paul.

He was really interested when I was banned from the New Brunswick Legislature.

Once Kelly Lamrock told me the reason? I flipped!!!!

Paul was the one who calmed me down and to this day I never went public with the issue.

It’s filthy and dirty!

Yes, it’s sad to see Paul moving on to other projects.

The Liberals were lucky to have him around when I was upset on a certain issue.

Yes, everyone who was close to me are gone.

Father Brien left a few weeks ago and now this???

Oh well?

La vie continue et la bataille pour la Justice va continuer.

It was good to have a second opinion on certain issues before I blogged a story but that’s gone now!

If I have a concern on a certain issue on the Liberal Party? I will blog the story without a second opinion.

Very scary stuff!!!!

If Paul is not around to listen then who will?

Bonne Chance Paul!!!

You leave Fredericton too. It is about time. Stop harassing people.

Come on Charles, if you want to blog about something your not going to let someone else's opinion change your mind. Conversely if you have a "concern" with an issue then that means you really do know you had better think long and hard before you put it out there. Look at it this way, from now on your responsible for your own decisions...welcome to the real world.

This is actually Paul Vienneau and to set the record straight, I'm not leaving to run away from Charles because of harassment. I'm actually going to miss our conversations.

After his band for the Legislature, he started coming to my office on a weekly basis, or more if he really had something to get off his chest.

And about the alleged reason he was banned, we did talk about it. Actually, if I'm not mistaken, I was the first person he came to see after he talked to Kelly, and I'm one of the persons that has suggested that he doesn't go public with it. So if you want to blame someone, don't blame Charles. He knows deep down that it would be devastating to all people involved, but I know he won't be able hold it in forever, especially now that we are not able to have our weekly chats so I can calm him down ;-)

Charles is a great guy with a good heart, and if you just take the time to sit down and talk with him, you'll see that too. If you just dismiss him as a loon (or a kook!) then you are missing the big picture.

I know that Charles can be brash, harsh, quick-tempered, and insulting to someone who doesn't really know him, but he can be good (if wants too).

If anyone from the city of Fredericton sees this, I know this sounds crazy, but they should hire him at their tourism department, because he is always bragging how this city is the best and the most beautiful in the world to tourists and anybody who will listen. That's why he doesn't want to go back to Saint John, even after being banned for the Legislative grounds.

You want to get rid him on the streets, give him a job in tourism, although I'll be surprise if takes it. He loves what he does . . . blogging (and journalism, to a certain extent) is his found passion. Just the way he talks about his stories and the people he meets, you know that he loves his "work".

And he does ask for permission before posting a particular's photo on the web (except for crowds, which is normal). He always did it every time when I was with him. If they don't want to, he simply deletes the photo (or photos) in front of them for proof. He blogs suggestive titles to his stories to make people talk, and it obviously works.

Love or hate him, you'll never forget him.

Good luck friend!

On se revoit bientôt!

"And he does ask for permission before posting a particular's photo on the web" That is not true. He has taken pictures of people without their knowledge and posted them. That is invasion of privacy and it is indictable but people have ignored him because he is a kook. However, if he continues this practice he will find himself behind bars some day and barred from the city streets.

Tell your story then.

You'll never tell it now since you've hyped it up so much for telling us to "truly stay tuned" for a year that there's absolutely nothing you could say that would be as sensational as you've made it out to be. I've heard the secret story in your very own words anyway and it doesn't make any sense - it's certainly not "dirty" and "nasty" as you've called it.

If the suggestion that the city should hire Charles to promote the city is any indication then I'd seriously have to say that you have been receiving some pretty dubious advice. Perhaps you might fare better than I first thought on your own.

Weird that a person so upset about privacy for people photographed in public wants to lock someone up it. This is some weird fascist form of civil libertarianist I guess.

Hey - all you pompous Irving peons, New Brunswick won`t always be your little police state to run, so you`d better mind your manners if you don`t want to be up on the block yourselves some day.
