Charles could you bring to yourself a read of the supplement in The Gleaner the other day about the RCMP celebrations re 75 years in New Brunswick.
I wonder if in french the Commanding Officer's statement makes as little sense as his comments do in english.
"There were one hundred and twenty seven RCMP members posted at thirty three detachments throughout New Brunswick and the number one priority was the sale and distribution of illicit liquor."
Gee. I would of thought the enforcement of the then law would have been a mandate of the then RCMP to have tried to actually halt the crimes committed.
Good old Zac would be proud! What with how we may never know what happened to all those "missing millions" from the pension fund.
