They can forget any future alumni donations from me.

I will still donate but with two conditions: 1) A New president and 2) Change in composition of Board of governors. This situation should never have reached the stage it is at today. I assign the fault to the Administration who have been using the media to belittle the faculty

Those teachers have been graciously provided our less cognitively endowed citizens with higher education for years.

They are the University - the buildings are nothing more than mortar and brick.

The board of governors shot their wad on a bunch of fancy buildings while our population continued to slide into old age. What sort of financial advice are those crazy priests getting?

Now they want to squeeze the only people actually teaching the kids - that really puts the STU in stupid.

The administration has done a great job at putting their spin on the situation and the media has played it up great. Randy McKeen has continuously touted that the faculty make more than the average citizen - well so does the administration, so do politicians, so do doctors etc. We don't live in a communist country where we all get paid the same - right or wrong, these individuals are highly educated and have paid a price to get that education. Pay them 40,000 a year and they wouldn't do what they do. If you want to argue that once you make a certain amount of money you should shut up cause you are lucky, then we have a serious problem. Any of those professors can go to any university to teach, they choose it here for personal reasons and they get a public outcry because they make money. Trust me, i know the amount of work they do, and they deserve their salary. And they have rights so the media should stop portraying the faculty as greedy and uncaring and start telling how mcuh the administration makes - The President is @ 300,000 per year - make that public.
