I was asking the City to plow and clean the trails around the two bridges.
Last night, I walked around the City. WHAT A MESS!!!!
The sidewalks are not even done yet.
My main beef is tourism.
Next week is suppose to be very nice.
If the trails were clean? It would be a wonderful way to promote Fredericton during the winter months!!!

What part of there was four snow storms in a week and around four feet of snow don't you understand? City workers are working hard to clean the sidewalks you walk on and other streets and sidewalks you don't walk on. Everything seems so easy when we don't do much...
Either that or the money that is supposed to be going towards snow removal in the city is being added to the already overpriced salary of our elected leaders. you know what, i've been all over canada and only here in fredericton do we see such poor and slow service after a storm.
Where is our money going again? To pay for our politicians snow removal? To pay for their sons university education so that they can grow and be just like daddy . . steal our money and leave us in the snow.
Anon 8:54, I totally agree with you about how long it can take for the streets and sidewalks of Fredericton to be cleaned after a snowstorm. But at least I don't complain about it, like some people that don't contribute much to society except for expressing their criticisms.
Do you even know how much the elected city officials make anonymous 8:54? I doubt it very much. Its obvious travel doesn't have much to do with intelligence. So Charles who did you ask at city hall about the policy of plowing trails? Did you ask the mayor? Did you get an answer? Is it city policy to keep all or even a few city walking paths open all winter..or none at all? Surely if you have asked you must have an answer?

Actually anonymous 10:01 it is the people that accuse others like Mr Leblanc and 8:54 that have the responsibility to find out the answers to at least a few simple questions before they start complaining. If they haven't the common sense to ask the right questions or check out their accusations it only shows how little they actually do care for anything except hearing themselves talk. But then I don't expect that you 10:01 will probably be able to grasp that concept...After all that would take a certain amount of...what is that word I am looking for?..Oh yes ...intelligence..

Ahh anonymous 11:31 you are far too kind. I suspect you have trouble pretty much grasping what anyone has to say. So as much as I'd like to take credit for your confusion I know all too well that I don't deserve your praise. After all I am sure I am not the only one that taxes your limited abilities. Perhaps you might want to consider something less strenuous than thinking... counting your fingers and toes comes to mind... (get some one to write the proper number down for you and you try and see if you can get it right)... That might be easier on the old head and keeps you out of trouble too. But then again, maybe your just not ...intelligent... enough to figure that out?
