Tuesday of the Thirty-Fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Luke 21:5-11
While some people were speaking about how the Temple was adorned with costly stones and votive offerings, Jesus said, "All that you see here -- the days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down." Then they asked him, "Teacher, when will this happen? And what sign will there be when all these things are about to happen?" He answered, "See that you not be deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he,' and 'The time has come.' Do not follow them! When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified; for such things must happen first, but it will not immediately be the end." Then he said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be powerful earthquakes, famines and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.”
Introductory Prayer: Lord, I want to thank you for this time to be with you. Increase my desire for prayer, and help me to open my heart to your word today. Teach me to pray, as you once taught the disciples.
Petition: Lord, grant me unlimited trust in your divine providence.
1. The World Is Passing Away We are impressed with huge buildings: We travel the globe to see the pyramids of Egypt. We want to go to the top of the tallest skyscraper whenever we visit a new city. These huge structures dwarf us and seem to be greater than we are. How many people seek to leave behind a legacy wrought in steel and concrete! People donate vast sums of money to universities so that buildings will go up in their name. Yet even the greatest building will crumble over time. The world is passing away. Why place our security in short-lived realities? God alone is a secure foundation, the unchanging reality upon which I can build my life.
2. There Will Be False Messiahs Jesus warns his disciples of false messiahs. They come offering a cheap reward, an easier path. They seek power for themselves and look for the quick and easy gain. How many false messiahs in society urge us to idolize wealth, or power, or a more comfortable life? Jesus, on the other hand, calls us to follow him into a life of poverty. Instead of comfort, he hands us a cross. Rather than encourage us to save our lives, he asks us to let them fall to the ground like grains of wheat that die in order to bear life. Rather than promise us earthly success, he offers a heavenly reward.
3. God Our Father Loves Us with a Perfect Love The future is filled with unknowns and the present is fraught with many dangers, but God is with us always. We need to exercise faith in him and his providence. Jesus taught us not only of the dangers to come, but also that God the Father loves us with a perfect love. Like a father, he loves to give his children good things.
Conversation with Christ: Lord, help me to put you first in my life. I worry about so many passing and temporary things. Sometimes I’m so busy it doesn’t seem that I have time to be with you. Increase my faith in your presence and power in my life. I need you.
Resolution: I will pray for world peace.

Monday of the Thirty-Fourth Week in Ordinary Time
Luke 21: 1-4
When Jesus looked up he saw some wealthy people putting their offerings into the treasury and he noticed a poor widow putting in two small coins. He said, "I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood."
Introductory Prayer: Lord, thank you for this time to be with you. How much I need your presence in my life. Open my heart to hear your word and to respond to it with love in everything I do today.
Petition: Lord, teach me the virtue of generosity.
1. The Wealthy Give from Their Surplus We see Jesus in the Temple watching the crowd of pilgrims placing their offerings into the Temple’s treasury boxes. They had come from around the world, to the one place to worship the God of Israel. Some in the crowd that day were wealthy and able to put in large sums of money. This was good and showed a measure of generosity, but they gave from their surplus. They had to do with less, but they didn’t have to do without.
2. The Widow Gives All That She Has Among the crowd was a widow who placed two small coins in the treasury box. It was all that she had. She held nothing back for herself. Her poverty encouraged her to trust in God’s providence. Our tendency is to trust in ourselves and material things. We look for security in wealth, which might draw us away from God. Poverty strips us of material props and will draw us towards God alone.
3. God Sees the Smallest Act of Charity The widow’s coins were not too small for God to notice. He sees everything and values everything according to its intrinsic worth. We often see just the outward appearance of things. To us, the one who put the most in the treasury box would have been the most generous. We might not even have noticed the widow that day. On God’s scales, however, the widow gave more than all the others, because she gave all she had. God loves the generosity of those who give without measure. This is how God loves us: Jesus didn’t measure out his generosity on the cross, but gave everything to free us from sin.
Conversation with Christ: Jesus help me to be generous. Help me to be free of needless worries about material things and to trust you and your providence. Many times I feel that I should be giving more. Help me to respond to the desires that you are encouraging in my heart. Help to replace my worries with an unbounded love and confidence in you.
Resolution: I will reflect on my current level of giving. Am I as generous in supporting the Church and evangelization as Jesus wants me to be?

FREDERICTON POLICE OFFICERS SHOULDN'T BE INSIDE THE NEW BRUNSWICK LEGISLATURE!!!!
I believe I have to blog this one before it’s too late.
The first time I set foot in the Legislature, I was very surprised to notice members from the Fredericton Police Force in the building.
Ever since I’ve been banned from the Legislature? The Quebec security staff are always sending the Police Officers after me.
Now….I believe it’s time to settle this issue once and for all but those Quebecers are digging in their heels.
I tried to chat with some liberals to lift the ban but someone just doesn’t want me in there.
Now….I wish to make myself very clear on one issue?
I believe I have a good relationship with our local Police Force.
I mean I don’t go around and act like a rat but when there’s action going on? They don’t bother me.
Maybe that will come later?
Lol
Last year the Chief of Police Barry McKnight acted quickly when the Police arrested the protesters in front of City Hall.
The protesters claimed it was racism and the Police Chief quickly told the Media that an investigation will be held.
Lets say a few months ago, the Fredericton Police Force would have arrested me during the UNBSJ protest?

Dan Bussieres would have given the orders to the cops and I would have landed in jail.
What would have happen once I was place in jail?
Does this mean that the Fredericton Police Force supports a Fascist style of Government like what Dan Bussieres is pulling?
Fascism?
Well, I was told not to use that word but I believe it is indeed fascism because in a Fascist State people are convicted without having the right to see the evidence.
This is exactly what is happening in this case.
Of course, Kelly Lamrock told me one of one reason. It’s dirty and
filthy!!!
It has nothing to do with the Legislature.
It’s so emotional that I was confronted on the streets by some members of the Liberal Party.
They were very upset that I threaten to go public with the issue.
I collected a petition of 1,000 signatures asking the Liberals to re-examine the issue but they refuse.
Of course, if I’m arrested or charge? The issue will come public and it’s going to be a terrible experience for some families.
I might add that the Liberals will cut all ties with this blogger.
If you believe I was bad against Bernard Lord? This is going to be much worse.
I will blog this issue for many years to come.
I held on going public with the reason but Liberals seem to want me to blog it?
The question is WHY???
All the media knows the reason and it’s disgusting!!!!!
So? Could the Fredericton Police Force be labelled by this Blogger as a Fascist Force?
Well? If they support Dan Bussieres’s tactics?
It could cause many problems for the Force Public Relation wise.
The Quebec Security Staff should take matters in their own hands.
Dan Bussieres should have the R.C.M.P. in the Legislature in place of the Fredericton Police Force.
It should be very interesting during the next few weeks to see if the Fredericton Police arrest this blogger?
But then again? Lets not forget what happen in Saint John? Maybe it’s going to be payback for this guy?
I am told the bureaucrats are working together to get this blogger off the streets.
I could end up like Ashley Smith?
Who truly knows?
The bottom line is this!!!
The Fredericton Police Force shouldn’t be inside the Legislature.
I wonder what's the reason we can't settle this issue and move on??? Naahhhhh......I'm having too much fun I guess?

P.S. The clown always tries to go inside the Legislature but they never arrested the guy?
I wonder why????
Even if I was acquitted? The Saint John Police Force still have my fingerprints.
Shouldn't a Judge order the fingerprints and pictures destroyed???
