VLTs, greed of Lord government and insensitivity is totally unacceptable and Lord government must be stopped for doing any more butchery through VLT’s. Lord keeps saying that he has the best interest of people in mind. He does not.And this travesty must be stopped.
This Government should not be involved in this line of business if even one life it at risk to gain revenues for this province.
There has been too much time go by for this Province's Governing body Not to have come up with permanent homes for video lottery machines within the Major Cities.
Also if all Bernard Lord can come up with as a solution to justify 15-20 deaths per year through kayodic suicide, Is a 52% referendum to have them for entertainment as an answer for properly regulating or housing these machines after being in possession of them for over 15 years in total?
Then this is a very scary look at the level of intelligence within the walls of the People's House.
Considering the many people that have come and gone through those very doors in that time who could have put something in place to loosen the grip on the victims of this issue.
Other than that very reason one must now believe that this Government and Governments past has been and is still murdering it’s own citizens for profit.(Long before Mr.Lord)
Through exploitation to solve the problems of Insufficient funds to run our business and the real shame of it is, How many more Premiers will pass through those same doors and do nothing but enjoy spending the blood money of others.
Let Tim know that Artist WCIE supports his cause 200%. Some pictures might have been misunderstood but that definitely was not the intention. I have no reason or intention to upset Tim. To upset politicians? Well that is totally different story.
It is true that previous premiers were no saints. Dictator McKenna is now telling Canadians that they better be nice to Americans. He does not fully understand the concerns of Canadians about many policies of U.S including the quagmire in Iraq. Canada did not want any part of it for the right reasons. He continues to dictate.
However, Lord government is worse as it is immoral. Four ministers promised that they would act upon on Mr. Smith’s recommendations on VLTs. They lied. That is what makes them unworthy of being government. Many promises have been broken. Lord governs by misleading and not by leading. Hiding facts about Orimulsion, insurance fiasco, healthcare fiasco, childcare fiasco and misleading on many other issues.
Hopefully what has taken place in Nova Scotia will be the beginning of conecting the dots in the Maritimes as a whole on this issue because we have a few good people within each Province trying with all their resources to pull it together as such. Now that the Church has recognized this is and always has been a major issue toward exploitation through addiction gone mad by these governing bodies and there doesn't seem to be Immediate plans to change this system of operation for fear of revenue loss as the real main reason for this non action. They have now recognized these lost souls need help and guidance from the powers above to keep and protect them and their rights in sharing this land freely and clear of exploitation from their very weaknesses that these governing bodies are using against them.
Tim that is very good, There lye some of this Province's largest contributors to the provincial debts and yet they have no name or recognition nor respect for their contributions to the mismanaged governmental debts of this Province. Though they were exploited to get that revenue that is why this Government will not or does not recognize their names because they would have to realize the fact it was a government run program that put them there in the first place
You are to once again be thanked on behave of us with a heart and compassion for those of who are among the Misfortunate and once again 48% of this Province are fast becoming aware of this addiction of which this Province needs extreme Counciling for their ways.

Powerfull stuff,good job! This has sure been an eye opener and your arguement holds a lot of water. This issue should be talked about on the next election and explained precisely they way that it is in your letter. I agree 110 percent something must be done about vlts and improvements cannot come soon enough. Again very good work.
Irregardless of what the different political views are and the many ways this has been twisted the truth is as long as this government has their hands in the pot of money brought in by this addiction and as long as they run this program they are totally responsible for the suicides directly or indirectly,there is no way around that fact.
The one point that stands out in this debate is the fact that after 15 years of this government being in charge of vlts nothing has changed in the way they opperate other than the upgrades made to get you to play even harder. If I remember correctly when this government made the upgrades to these machines was there not commercials promoting if you play at a higher level you have a higher chance of winning under the new improved changes? Also in that time there has not been a single change that has effected the cash flow to this government or one facility built of any kind to house them. So I must agree with Mr.Smith that exploitation is the order of the day on the issue of vlts.

I get updates on gameovervlt.com and there was a link to the globe and mail saying there was a poll asking if you think vlts are illegal and 65% said yes so it's all across this country. I also heard it brought up on talk of the town in Saint John this morning,so support will grow and as this guy said you went to Fredericton to raise the true awareness to this issue and you were ignored by the politicians but not the media,hang in there.
