This is one of a few spots in the south end of Saint John,This is one of three piles on St.James St. There is nails sticking up in boards broken glass spread out all over the sidewalk and this is all located near several Saint John non-prophit units with a number of young children living in the area.
The Garbage is still there... in fron of my place on Victoria street. I have again contacted the Mayors office to find out what thier plans are regarding this mess. They have not gotten back to me.
Today is Thursday June 9th saying this its garbage day on victoria Street, in the City's NORTH end. Lets see what happens and if they pick up the garbage!
I heard on the radio, for those that did not follow the guidelines, when the city picks up the garbage they will be issuing invoices/bills to the residents....... Tell me how are they going to know whos garbage it is. And for the classy party that put thier garbage furniture on my pile, shall I sent them a bill as well> Or maybe I should send one to the City offices for all the time, energy and resources I have put into this, when they should have done thier jobs properally the first time around and picked these things up!
I followed the guidelines. Irregardless, they send me a bill and I WILL be sending my own bill out.
As I feel the main reason we cannot rent the apt's is due to the large pile of garbage in front of the property.....
I will definitly keep you all posted. wil know more by mornings. waiting on the garbage men. Mrs Sherwood
