Sorry "Spinks-hater" to disappoint you. Actually the only problem I have with this is the same I have with any senate appointment. All senators should be elected. One of the most ridiculous senate appointments was Chretin's last day in office when he appointed former CTV reporter Jim Munson as a senator (who is white and male by the way for those who don't know). Pure patronage. The senate should either be completely abolished or elected.
Is this guilty conscience speaking? How did you know the reference was to you, Spinks. I bet if the Governor General had duel citizenship with Britain you would have no objection.
Now Stephen Harper speaking, eh! Elected senate. So it is ridiculous appointment. She is woman and native too, you know. That must make it more ridiculous, eh!
