Do not forget he says LNG is bad for enviroment and people's health in St.Andrews area but he gives $125 tax rebate to Irving for LNG terminal in Saint John. He is really taking Saint John for a ride.
Then of course giving away $6 million to Molson to compete with Moosehead in Saint John. Long list of screw-ups. This man must never have made it to Premier's office. What is a wrong with us to elect him?
Lord has locked off people from Centennial building and Legislatur using security excuses but who is going to save him from him. He is his own worst enemy. As a starter he needs a security man with a muzzle to keep his mouth shut. Every time he opens his mouth he shoots himself in the foot.

Um... 8:45 the changes at the legislature started under Camille Thaeriault. They were fully implemented under Lord but any government was going to do the same thing. That's security in the 21st century. Yep it sucks but that's the way the world is. I can't think of too many legislatures and government buildings with such slack security measures as NB had.

No bull, that's a fact. The wheels began turning to beef up security under Camille Theriault after his office was taken over by protestors in '99. He lost the election before the changes took place. Like I said, started under Theriault but implemented by Lord. Pretty much anyone in government can tell you that. It's no secret. If Theriault had won, the changes would still have taken place.

For your own sake get facts straight. What was started under Theriult was only security door to Premier's office. All the walls were built towards the end of 2002 when protests began. As someone said who is going to protect Bernie from Bernie. I think you have exactly the same problem.

Hey 11:13... everyone always talks about how this site is mickey mouse and how charles is a little irving yet it is one of the most visited sites on New Brunswicks provincial commentary and I am certain you haven't left. This has turned out to be a great forum with very little mediation and where Charles does delete or post emails... That is all part of the experience. Alot gets discussed and I for one wether I always agree or not like and understand what this site can do and where it will go someday. So lighten up and if you really dont agree with what goes on here then you have the opportunity not to comment or even look at the site.
Charles is actually very easy going when it comes to his tolerance of posts. What some of you people have to realize is that there is a line that has to be drawn on any site on the public internet, just as there is one one the public street. Despite what a few people here think posting things that defame, or slander people is not acceptable. Sometimes, posts are made, that could land a webmaster (or in this case) a blog master in court, sometimes they are simply in very poor tatse. Go out and vote for the person and we now know that Lord and Hooten are not for the people. They want us to shut and stop complaining and pay those taxes. We are suppose to believe their vision to freeze a billionaires taxes for 25 years is good for everyone else. Still waiting for the spin offs with the oil refinery- pollution, cancer most tax concession for the wealthy, grants to people who own a lot of heritage homes, higher gas prices then any other area. I still wonder why for months even when of the price gas was down; it was not down in Saint John- oh yes we heard all the bull why. Notice we have hurricanes and the price of other things going up and just less then 3 weeks before an election they want a PC sweep the gas price is down & 98.9 that won't last. They play with our strings long enough and expect us to swallow the crap.

Thank you for a having a site where we can voice our opinion and others. Can't get coverage in the paper or TV news. We have to say most people won't read some of this good read but it does serve a purpose for the people of Saint John who are never heard under the Lord goverment. Give Lord and Hooten the Booten now; before Saint John becomes a village with a toll bridge and gas lines everywhere with two classes of people the poor , that's us and the billionaires.
Here this one maybe off topic but here goes- When the Mayor and Councillors went to ST. George to discuss city issues and spend taxpayers money; the Mayor was generous enough to switch rooms Councillor Chang so Jay and his girlfriend could use the Hottub. How sweet was that!
