I would hope that Mr. Lord is truly sincere in his heart that he truly wants to make a significient and meaningful change in the issue of those of us who currently rent Rooms in rooming houses and boarding houses. All New Brunswickers who pay any kind of rental damage/security doposit and rental charge have a right to protection under the law.

Great point mike concidering the folks at the Fredericton Shelter seem to have more human rights than roomers or boarders.
But then again the government doesn't mind making sure these people are givin a fair shake at getting in there.
Better there than on the street in front of the Legislature!!

Just for informations sake, the next step is submitting an argument to the United Nations for consideration when the Council on Human Rights abuses meets next august. This was the strategy used by Ms. Lovelace in the late seventies, early eighties. However, that was federal jurisdiction, the main purpose of this will be to get international attention on New Brunswick on this issue and hope that the government makes the necessary legislative changes long before it becomes an international cause of embarassment for the province.
