Saint John has had the same Santa for a quite a few years and he has spent so much money on looking so real; $300 suit, rabbit hair on eye brows, boots, makeup he is the real Santa most genuine, personalable, thoughtful, carrying Santa, there for the children. Deep voice, rosy cheeks and very tall and heavy.
THe Mayor and Deputy Mayor hired a new one their friends. What can we do to correct a wrong before our Christmas Parade this weekend, Nov 19th?

I passed this onto to you confidental; he doesnot know what can be done. He has called one councillor and hopefully with exposure he gets his job back. He has beautiful pictures so maybe Tim Smith can get in contact with him uptown because he lives on Duke St.
Please help if possible. Don't cover this story unless you get his permission first; he a taxi driver so you may not get a return call right away.

Santa has been around along time and does have a real committment to making children happy and he is the real deal not a Santa's helpers they have at the store that look like the bought there suit at a bargain shop.
I know the City has a budget problem but after all Saint John has watched them poor money everywhere to help Billionaires what is wrong with this picture. Give Santa his job back the parade is Saturday not many days left help save his job. He is the real Santa and adults know you can't replace him. HUMBUG Mr Scrooge!

I don't think the city's budget has anything to do with it. If the new Santa is a friend or a friend of a friend of McFarlane or Hooton, I guarentee you that he will be getting paid MORE than the Santa they fired.
I always thought this Santa did a great job and looked amazingly(?) real! Such a shame!
Wish this new Santa could step aside for the real Santa. CFBC received a call from a woman and she said if money is an issue she would pay. We don't want a fake Santa! This Santa has more than a dozen years of experience and just his presence bring tears to your eyes. Please save Santa call Uptown Saint John or the Mayor!
Charles I herd that the new Santa Clause is going to be Michelle Hooton's campaign manager. Apperently she promissed him a job after the election. The job pays a 100 bucks but it seems thats more then he is worth. They could pay him in DAILY dollars.

Yes that is a miss print he has spent thousands of dollars. Hopefully he can get his job back call the Uptown Saint John Inc 6426554, Jim Kuehnel, Mayor or anyone who is on the Board of Uptown Saint John. Santa has been ready to go since last year. He volunteers and does so much for the kids. Please if anyone can help us save our Santa make a phone call. They want us to shop uptown and spend our money but they don't want the real Santa what is this city coming too.
Santa did not know he was replaced until afew days ago. Scrooge has arrived in Saint John.
Nothing surprises the citizens of Saint John since the Mayor and Councillors have been elected. We also know not all Councillors can openly express their opinions and can't let the public know certain things. Their compaign about open to the public and feeling of being inclusive sure went out the window once elected. It always seem to be one thing after another;when will they learn that they can run,lie, deceive,confuse, but someday things have a way of getting back to the people. Nothing should be disclosed behind closed doors or with just certain councillors. We voted them in but they forget that quickly. Sorry I have been going off the subject but anyways, something is definitely wrong with replacing Santa. Call who ever you have to and CFBC will certainly be talking again tomorrow. THis will be devastating to Santa and the children of Saint John. This is so wrong. They are telling the truth; they tryed to pull a fast one on Santa at the last minute. Let them see what they will get in their stockings from Santa this year. Mr Scrooge has arrived.
Some one is lying and the truth will come out and the new Santa should step aside. Please save Santa Job! Calling all parents to help here!
Announcement will come out tomorrow that Santa will have some elves come here in Saint John and they will help Santa get his job back. Businesses want us to bring the children to the stores and buy things and make Christmas possible but they forgot the most important part and that is Santa and the Spirit of Christmas.

Yes now the people have $900 to pay for Santa for three years and they still won't give Santa his job back. This has sealed any reality of ever having fairness with this Mayor and his choosen committees which is just a smoke screen.
I guess they forget who spends money uptown; the parents. We can shop somewhere else and next weekend there is parade in Qispamsis and is just great! I'll go with my grandson. Also Westside is having a parade next week. This is a prime example how taxpayers and citizens get respect from City Hall. Just look at the new names at City Hall and there is hiring of family and friends. The low blow is to fire Santa when we had the best one who can't be found antwhere. He could win a contest if the time was there to have one and the kids could pick.

Maybe we should call Premier Lord and he could promise Santa a cabinet seat; can't blame us for trying. Why wait until a few days before Santa arrives, dirty politics again. People offered to pay expenses for 3 years so what's the problem; we could pay the new one too and send him home. Norm muat of promised him a job after the tree lighting last year.
Disappointed in the process; when was that statement used? If we knew then what we know now we would of kept Mayor Shirley McAlary. These committee collects money from the City and charges people to enter in the parade and pay outsiders to come to the parade. Santa is from the North Pole should he not fit in the category of getting a little money for all Santa has done for travelling and getting the toys ready. Hello Saint John who says your new image is for the best!
I won't support the Uptown Saint John stores this Christmas. Greedy for people to spend but can't share shameful indeed!
